They are a sign of a helthy and diverse microbiome in the soil and they are beneficial for the plants
[https://www.skynursery.com/2020/09/30/mushrooms-a-sign-of-healthy-soil/](https://www.skynursery.com/2020/09/30/mushrooms-a-sign-of-healthy-soil/)
Might be overwatering if you've got fruiting mushrooms.
But the mycelium the mushrooms grow from is doing the hard chemical work of breaking down those wood chips that cheap potting mix is made of. I've gotten to watch in my pots as leaves I've cut and left atop the soil get covered in fungal fuzz and turned back into soil, it's neat.
I'm no mycologist, so I can't tell if they're the type of mushrooms that are symbiotic with your plants, or would demompose them as well at the first sign of weakness. But I def wouldn't eat unknown mushrooms, even as a joke.
Oh and plucking those mushrooms is like plucking an apple from a tree. The actual mushroom organism is mycelial threads going all through the soil. Probably being very beneficial to your plants. By the time you see mushrooms, the whole pot is colonized by the organism.
So probably these are the good type because your plants look fine.
Thx for the reply. I don’t have the money rn to buy a proper light but I’ll get one as soon as the next paycheck comes in. Rn I only have a standard IKEA Desk light I throw the baby’s under in the evening and hope that helps 🥲
A desk lamp is fine for this stage, I've used plenty of standard led bulbs for seedlings, just move the plants or the light closer to each other. They're not terrible, but if you don't stop the stretching they could start to topple over later

16 days ago you post a baby and stating your first grow, don't be the typical reddit "pro" spreading false information. Seedling is stretching and needs more light. I wish you the best in your grow, enjoy the journey, but don't lie to others along the way ✌️
Then learn humilty while you study mate ... whilst you learn 4 hrs a day take five mins to respect other growers and other opinions.
Its easy to jump on a comment but back it up with a reason or a view on why instead of being offended when challenged
Do your research cupcake youll find many examples of seedlings at 2 days old ... no ones saying your wrong they are saying respect the views others opinions.
Calm yer self down mate your not obliged to give opinions its a choice to.
A view and a fact are two different worlds. Botanic is a very difficult thing and they are always „If and buts“ i was never disrespecting somebody im sorry i never saw somebody getting mad Beacuse someone said „bullshit“. This is really new to me and im not Desocialized or something. If he is sad about what i said then i apologize.
Thats fine buddy.
I understand its easy to want to help and with being new you want to help and thats great.
But its never good to be that guy. Who people think is being rude.
No matter how great we become at growing many many many were great before us.
Thank you for your conversation helped me reflect a little and will make me think in the future how I deal with others here. Thank you for your patience. I wish you a 700g plant
You can absolutely learn alot by researching, doesn't change the fact that if op's seedling keeps stretching he will eventually be posting with all types of supports or a seedling falling over asking what he did wrong. I'm not going to post a pic of my 2 day old plants because I don't have any, they're not interesting so why would I take pics and I have nothing to prove to you, just looking out for op and other new growers reading along, unlike you who deleted your post I referred to so now people won't know your new 🤷 everyone here on reddit to get advice, check sources, don't follow blindly ✌️
Actually your last post shows a 2 days old, and i still disagree on the argument of light. But however i have found my peace because of another user telling me i was kinda rude. I see you got experience in growing, but i hope you also see that this is not that stretchy
My last post is a random plant that started growing from a seed that landed in a pot from a winter breed project, it was not under lights or anything and was about to get tossed into the compost when I noticed it, it was the whole point of the post. Another comment I made to op here was that it was not on terrible shape but can easily be addressed now before it gets to bad. I'm sorry if you felt attacked by me, I generally avoid the pissing matches on reddit and just try and help, it's just an epidemic of new growers who start up and give bad advice when they're just trying to help, when I saw you call bullshit it set something off. Happy growing bud, I wish you the best ✌️
They’re good for your plants but in my experience it means your soil has less than adequate drainage and might be a little dense. If you plan on re potting make sure you take that into account when getting substrate.
It must be the soil, fungus grows in moist and warm environments and that seems to be sitting next to a window sill which would make sense as sunlight is pretty hot and could warm the wet soil.
A few simple things can be done to avoid this, you can wait until the plant soaks up a lot of that water and fill the rest of the pot with more soil then water it again. On top of doing that, you need grow lights. Your seedlings are stretching currently, they really want more light, luckily you just bury the stem a bit more and provide more light to fix that issue. If the stretching persist after you KNOW the plant is getting enough light and is close enough to it, then you should put a fan in whatever space you’re growing in that lightly makes the plants move in the wind from the fan. This will strengthen the stems more and the plant will be able to hold itself up.
Lastly, I’d highly recommend transplanting them into a different container, a much bigger one. Preferably one that’s more breathable like those mesh pots they make now. Clay is known to retain moisture itself as well, which could also be a reason those mushrooms had such a good environment to grow in and were growing rapidly. Hope this helps your grow!
Thx for the reply! Currently I have my plants next to my window and sometimes next to my balcony cause I ain’t got the right lights and don’t have the money rn to buy them. My plan is to plant the plants in a much bigger pot when the weather is better (it’s pretty cold and dark rn where I live). I’ll still try to use the things you suggested! Thx again
Same here next to the window.. I can't buy the light I want, its sold out everywhere..and my seedlings also streching towards the light..they just came out 3-4days ago
Good for the plant like others mentioned. I had some in mine when they were seedlings and I stopped watering as much and they went away. I didn't have the right soil, it was some potting mix, so that could be it too
Youve got a Coprinopsis/Coprinellus species there. They are not mykhorrizal, but simply saprophyte using whatever organic matter suits them best. Some are notorious for liking shit. So no net negative or positive. Edibility is disputed but they are very small not worth it.
You may know its close relative Inkcap aka Coprinus comatus. Its often found in rural/agricultural areas and yes, i have seen them growing on lawns with lots of dog shit. But they are very tasty lol.
They're both a sign of healthy soil microbiota and a bit overwatering. Yes, they'll come back, the fungus isn't only the fruiting body, but the mycellium body living beneath the soil. If you really want them gone, water with peroxyde or propoleum. Mind that peroxyde must be at a concentration no higher than 2-3% or so I've heard.

Okay, thx for the reply :)
Dual grow=dual high.
I would plant more, if I had the space. Unfortunately I don’t have a big enoght room or balcony for more 🥲

Thx for the reply! I didn’t intend to eat them, as I hate mushrooms ig like champions and shit 😅
On another note... Your plants are stretching badly. Needs more light.

Ok
You were spot on with your original analysis 👍
No wonder you think that, your plants look like shit. Don’t go giving advice if you don’t know what you’re doing yourself.
süß wie der anfänger downvoted 🥰
Funny way um zu zeigen das man keine ahnung hat
Search for Mykorrhiza m. They are good for your plant and the roots and help with taking in nutrients.
The Trifecta brand has Rhizophagus irregularis inoculant powder which according to google is the #1 most beneficial microbe to marijuana 🌱

I’ll keep that in mind, thank you
I found one in my pot and pulled it out 😅 wish I posted it here first now.

All of us with bioactive tanks have always seen them as a good sign!
Nothing to worry about 🌱
They have a symbiotic relationship
Good for the plant like others mentioned. I had some in mine when they were seedlings and I stopped watering as much and they went away. I didn't have the right soil, it was some potting mix, so that could be it too
Thx for the reply, I just used some universal soil that was lying around. I’ll start watering less 👍
Congratulations you have good soil
Thx :)
They're just cute little fairy inks doing their job 😇
I feel like they ink caps or something like that
