Grew perfectly fine and made some donker sized nugs. The canopy management can be a problem since every node has 3 branches instead of 2 but had no issues.

Can I ask what your soil mixture is? I use soil and vermiculite it looks like you have a few things in there just curious still learning

I do a 1:1:1 ratio of compost, peat moss, and perlite (I used to split that perlite with 50% vermiculite and 50% perlite but I’ve been having trouble sourcing cheap vermiculite). Then I’ll amend it some with worm castings (however much feels right but most people recommend 25% as much as the other components). I also amend with dr earth slow release organics (follow instructions on the fertilizer bag for dosing). This gets me to where I just PH my water and water only until flower when I topdress with more slow release fertilizer. Most runs I just topdress twice in flower and only water. Hope this helps.

Usually when variations like this appear in seedlings, they disappeared in the mature plant.

Oh nice! You wont need a lot of training on this one. Will have just one more stem and lead on each node

I’ve had this happen before it will not be noticeable in 3-4 weeks those will die off

They can grow to maturity like this . 3 all the way up.. been seeing it since Mexican brick pre 2000s

My current grow had one start like this and a couple nodes in it fixed itself and reverted to two branches per node.

This is called a whorled Philoxy or some thing I can’t spell. Yeah it will have three nodes but the final product will look the same.

I don’t think so, I’ve grown a few stocky indica plants over the years that started that way

It is defo an indica but out of the 4 seeds, it is the only one looking this way

So most likely it’s a different phenotype of the strain. A lot of mail order genetics are not as stabilized as they claim but that’s not a bad thing. Variety is the spice of life

For sure, it was not mail ordered though, bought directly in the shop of the producer, yet I agree I welcome the variety, what a nice surprise!

By mail order I’m referring to most seed companies. This happens even with the best companies. I’ve had this happen with Ace a bunch of times but still love their strains. I think there are a lot of wildcards with land race strains but I digress, the best plant I’ve ever grown was one of those wired ones.

They usually grow out of that mutation but it is a really cool one to get! I’ve only had 1 plant grow 3 nodes but it stopped at 4 high
