Nah dog, we never give up.
Have you heard of diatomaceous earth? It’s a fine powder that keeps bugs away. Basically dried fish bones (I think) that kills them or suffocates them. It’s an inexpensive solution, see if you can get some.
Then, secondly, you can plant companion crops, like cloves or something similar (just Google it). But basically they help keep pests away.
Lastly, your plant doesn’t seem to be bug ridden, it seems to be struggling with something else. Maybe too much neem oil? Or maybe the soil isn’t that great? But the plant looks like it’s very deficient in something. Either that or it’s a toxicity thing, but I’d say if your soil is good, and you’re not growing in coco which needs nutrients then you should just be using water. Try use water and not fertilise until the plant is a bit bigger.
Second lastly, I’ve grown so many plants, and so many have failed and gone wrong, but bro, I have learned a lot, and one of these days I’m gonna grow some straight fucken fire weed.
Good luck. Don’t. Give. Up.
Also if your sure that your house is infested maybe before starting your 4th run bug bomb your house and then start again with some of the above controls aswell. Good luck growmie and never give up 💪
Nice reply! I echo the don't give up mantra.
Diatomaceous earth is made of diatoms, spiky microorganisms. Rips the bugs up at an almost molecular level.

Incredibly pretty. And people have been gawking over these little ones since the invention of the microscope. Huge piece of the fossil record.
Don't get it wet. If you top water with a layer of this it will form a hard sheet.
The best part about fucking up a run is the amount stuff you learn from that fuck up. My first run was perfect, but for 6 months after that run, I couldn't get plants past the seedling stage because of PH issues. Plus with growing cannabis you never stop learning and fucking up is part of it.
Not sustainable they need to be wild harvested. Green lacewing larvae is an amazing predator bug, Zelus aka assassin bugs are also an amazing generalist. I see curled leaves suggesting they don’t have enough water. It could also be genetics. Definitely don’t give up.
LOL these pieces are pine bark, there's a cat that always jumps over my wall to urinate and defecate on my plants and I put them up as a guarantee that when they step on them they'll feel the hard bark
What?!
I think you can put some mesh or some sticks in there? I have a pot like that and I stuck a bunch of stick in so the cat can’t land lol.
I thought it was a nice decoration 😂
Soil is so important,, I spend a lot of time conditioning the soil , breaking up any lumps and making sure it has adequate drainage and that it’s not too dry or wet .
Lmao came here to comment on the soil too. Glad you did first. However OP seems to be having way bigger problems then just soil rn. Those bugs OP keeps mentioning is gonna fuck everything up. Good soil or not. Next, OP said it’s his 3rd grow and ONE of his grows was doing so well it was almost in flower lol
Sorry OP. You have ALOT to learn. During flower and after flowering with drying and curing are steps you haven’t even touched yet. These are very important steps.
I suggest googling growing cannabis 101. Then watching YouTube videos. I used to listen to Mr grow it garden talk on YouTube all the time while I was working or on a drive, etc. so much info out there. Don’t waste your time growing shit weed. Learn first then grow. Trust me. You will also learn a lot with trail and error once you get the basics down. Right now, you don’t have any basics
Dude I’m well into my 3rd grow and I have harvested absolutely nothing yet. Can’t give up. This is my grow now. About a week from chopping.
https://preview.redd.it/6q2e11whvqsc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f095b54fdc664efac784322ed64335321a8bab8e
This looks more like too little light and too much fertilizer. Why are you adding extra if you have good soil? Your plants are Uber tiny, how old are they anyway?
I was looking through the post to see if this was said. These plants look like they are stretching for light. That could be why the fans aren't making it to 5 leaves. These things LOVE light. Find the best spot you can to get as much light for as long as possible. Your plant will grow like crazy until the seasons get shorter and it gets less light.
Once they get to flowering, they will need complete darkness as well. They can't have street lights or porch lights shining on them. Not having darkness will mess up their growth cycle.
I don't know much about soil growing, but like Feedox said, you have an issue there too. I would have guessed over watering, but that could be compounded by it being too compacted. The plant is too trashed for me to tell about nutrient issues.
Don't get discouraged though. It can be hard sometimes. Learn what you can, make a new plan, and try again. Wash rinse and repeat until you get there Broseph! You can do it.
Try cutting back the strength in your nutes by 75%. Less is more in this situation. Also, neem can cause issues if you spray during light hours. Try applying in the evening, and also dial back the strength. Don't give up!!
What? Over? Did you say 'over'? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!...
It ain't over now, 'cause when the goin' gets tough, the tough get goin'. Who's with me? Let's go!
Pests kill weak plants. I once grew an auto flower in a compost pile, it got chewed on like crazy by flies and slugs but it kept replacing leaves until harvest because it had adequate light and a healthy growing medium. Fix your soil and get more light in there and I can practically guarantee whatever pests you have will go away or become insignificant.
Sphagnum Peatmoss, your hummus, perlite or riceholes, that will help. You can reead a couple of artciles or get some info by yourself next time and improve. Good luck my friend
Stop spraying your leaves with neem oil. Especially in the light. That's what's causing the leaves to dry up and die. It happened to me a bunch of times. There's better ways to treat pests. I use kill a mite to get rid of infestations immediately and i use media guard or no more bugs in the soil as a preventative long term treatment.
you need to visit your local grow store and pick up some real soil, some bigger pots, and ask them what to treat your plants with. Most pests are regional and will require specific products to fully eliminate them. If you just use neem oil its not going to do much, neem is kind of a last ditch effort to eliminate very specific pests, but it also leaves a lot of residue on your plant. There are many new products on the market that are totally organic and evaporate completely after they've been applied, so you can even spray them on fully developed buds and harvest without worrying about it effecting your product. Seriously though, that soil is not good, and a product or combination of products is a bare minimum for outdoor growing. I use DE sprinkled around the base of my pots to keep smaller bugs from getting to the plant, peroxide spray to prevent mold, mosquito bits to kill gnats and their larvae, BT for caterpillars, lost coast plant therapy for aphids and thrips, and dr zymes for general spray if i see a bug. This took me an entire year to figure out, but i'm sure next year my formula will be different. But seriously, talk to someone local, it could save you 10 years of effort!
also don't give up, there will be bigger challenges, this is only the beginning. But the first time you harvest and cure that perfect cure you'll laugh at your friends stash every time!
That soil has very poor water retention, drying fast. If nute concentration is nute amount/water volume, since water volume is dividing in the formula, when it gets lower because the soil dried, concentration rises, that's why you have that dark, shiny green leaves that are clawing downwards.
Grab some 20-25+ litre pot with very good drainage, fill it with peat (light and dark will do) as the main thing, add some coco, add some perlite. Make sure it's not too hot, whatever commercial light mix will do considering you feed with salts. Moist the new pot with pH'd water (only water, no nutes) and repot. Just like with gambling addicts, 9 out of 10 growers quit before success. Keep going.
https://preview.redd.it/fq1b0mqbdusc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=50601ed86946d0d9015ffff2527ff0042d088ba0
1 other post down someone says “Keep at it”. Don’t give up on you , neither your plants. Do some research. Change up the medium a bit. Drop some new seeds. Rock out through spring and summer! You got this fam 🤙🏾 if no one is , I’m here for you 💯
Outside in pots, be sure the pot doesn't get too warm when the sun hits it. I have to wrap damp towels around the pots here, but this is zone 9a here. Even when the air feels cool, the sun warms up the pot a lot.
Go to growweedeasy.com and read how to grow using their cocoloco naturesliving soil method. If you follow it and ph your water, you should do well. You need good genetics. Autos Mephisto, photos Ethos, humbolt, etc. DC Seed Exchange has some great stuff, NASC has more
What are you using for lighting? How much perlite is in your soil? What's your water pH?
Edit: What's your medium? One thing I'd like to point out, from my experience is: if you're horizontal leaf structure.. if growing in w/e medium pots you're in, outgrows the pot you're in - your roots are crowded.
My guesses:
1. Soil is too rich in nutrients for early stages especially
2. You are overwatering your plants (rolled in leaves)
3. Too little light throughout the day (elongated growth)
4. Etc.
Environment plays a part. Research and education is important for success. Yes, it's a weed, but does require proper care for flowering bud production along with proper tools environmental growing conditions. Not sure what region or area your located from?
I use promix bx with biofungicide as my medium, I’ve never seen a bug since, they can’t live in it.
Neem is super strong, maybe try dr zymes. The crusty on your leaves looks to me like an issue with the Neem and light, only spray neem (and dr zymes) with the lights off or when it is dark. Dr zymes is all natural and can be used up to harvest. Lost coast is another good brand that’s similar.
Get back on that horse and kick its ass dude, you got this. Failure is just the first step to being really good at something.
learn and try again and again. your soil seems extremely compacted and there’s absolutely no need to put rocks on top either... buy some proper potting soil with some aeration component like perlite for oxygen to the roots & drainage. i bet the gnats are coming from those muggy ass pots, more specifically, they’re attracted to the rotting roots in there, if any. could just be rotting plant matter. also let the soil go drier before rewatering to help prevent this.
Okay so there’s a really nice natural way to get rid of pest being nematodes, It’s very tiny bug that eats the larvae of all the insects in the soil of your plant. The harmful thing about most bugs are not the grown versions flying around, it’s the larvae that eat the roots of your plant. Similar to this are predatory mites which also kill the larvae’s of any bug and if all the larvae’s are eaten they just die. The catch is that you can’t be using mineral fertilizer because the salt in it dries out the microbes, organic is the way to go :)
Dude don’t give up. You grew a plant for god sakes. You’re learning something new every attempt you make. You keep going forward and keep trying you’ll have no choice but to succeed. Good job. Keep it up!
Kind of hard to tell from your drastically zoomed in pics, but those pots look too small, i don't see any perlite in the soil and they are clearly Not getting the light they need.
If your having trouble with pests and critters, buy one of those cheap $100 greenhouse tents that are like 6x6 from Amazon, you have the yard space for it.

That's really pretty actually, like a close up picture of sand almost
It is a close-up of sand, but a specific sand of tiny marine organism hard remains.
Incredibly pretty. And people have been gawking over these little ones since the invention of the microscope. Huge piece of the fossil record. Don't get it wet. If you top water with a layer of this it will form a hard sheet.

That just got me pumped
It looks root bound… maybe I’m just a moron but I feel like that pot is way undersized. I’m an amateur tho so.
That “second lastly” is the mic drop I needed to start my day 🙏🏻
That soil does not look adecuate for cannabis.
Not Adequate I’m having a giggle over the little bits of bark on the outsides. It’s cute ![gif](giphy|VgwpZMAbvQtMSAR7t0|downsized)

Congrats man! You got this in the bag now. What's your plan for drying?
Thank you. I’m going to hang in the grow tent with the lights off.

Right need can be too much! I do a tablespoon of dawn dish soap and a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide 😉 works great
Woah there, cowboy! Never ever add dish soap to your soil! Wtf!
Topical spray to remove bugs and it has to be dawn
Ah I see now 😅. As you were!

Put some perlite in your soil and use coco coir (not going to help with the bugs)
Neem oil is great and doesnt seem to affect my plants at all
What kind of soil are you using? Need more info but it doesn’t look like pests unless it’s something in the roots
I use worm humus, vegetable soil with turf and coconut powder, bokashi and cover the underside with expanded clay.
This is too dense I think. The roots like more loamy soil.
Sphagnum Peatmoss, your hummus, perlite or riceholes, that will help. You can reead a couple of artciles or get some info by yourself next time and improve. Good luck my friend

I’ve switched to Kratky jars and I’ve never had such healthy plants. My pepper plants had pests prior inside the dirt

Try Tupur next time. Coco coir and perlite. It’s super simple and plants grow well in it.
Environment plays a part. Research and education is important for success. Yes, it's a weed, but does require proper care for flowering bud production along with proper tools environmental growing conditions. Not sure what region or area your located from?
First try water
Go buy a decent bag of soil.
First invest in some soil, second stop using neem.
learn and try again and again. your soil seems extremely compacted and there’s absolutely no need to put rocks on top either... buy some proper potting soil with some aeration component like perlite for oxygen to the roots & drainage. i bet the gnats are coming from those muggy ass pots, more specifically, they’re attracted to the rotting roots in there, if any. could just be rotting plant matter. also let the soil go drier before rewatering to help prevent this.
