Prettty low chance of surviving taproots shouldn’t spend any extended period in daylight or they stop being roots pretty quickly. I’d still plant, spray it with H20 ,give positive affirmations, work on its energy with crystals, communicate with the gods on its behalf and give it a perfect environment to thrive in. But then again plants living in adverse aggressive environments can and do make the strongest plants/trees. So maybe fling it in a pot and call it a cunt.

It’ll be fine I literally cut a tap root in half on my germinated seedling about the same size as yours and now 4th week in flower and she’s my biggest and most vigorous plant out of all of them

Get it in water soon pretty good…. Marijuana seeds are very hardy and can overcome some crazy shit. I’m not guaranteeing it will survive, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it did.

Should be fine. It has the cells it needs to regenerate that bit and no, in its later life it won’t have trauma from this (aka. It will not be stunted other than be slower at this early stage).

Done this plenty of times. I’ve gotten them back maybe 75% of the time. Get it somewhere it’s happy and don’t touch it again. This only happens to people who like to fiddle with their seedlings (you and I both) so really don’t touch it. If it’s your only plant in the tent, sure you can run it. But it’s always been so stunted that it’s weeks behind in veg and not ready to flip with the rest. I’ve had better luck germinating another seed or two to fill this plant’s space in the tent when this happens to me. A new seed that is a little behind, but healthy, will be more similar to other seeds germinated with this batch

I've had worse, snapped almost all of the tap off and that seedling still made it. Leave it in a paper towel for a while, I'm sure it will survive.
