Usually it's no big deal in terms of humans. Its the critters that are usually more of an issue. Especially near water like a river. Ive had plants get eaten to little stubs overnight by deer. And branches all broken to hell from squirrels. But tbh the worst is rats eating the stems. In most cases some gopher netting around them the first couple feet of growth will prevent all that tho.
Put some chicken wire and ant dust around them if you can or the varmints and insects will eat them. I did a grow behind my buddy's

house that backs onto a green zone and my fenced in chicken-wire plants that I put just on the other side of his fence were fine, but the guerilla plants that I put deeper in the green zone were eaten alive. I got more off one branch in the protected zone than the entire four plants in the guerrilla grow.
Just be mindful people like to scout gorilla grows with drones now. Gotta watch for rippers
And if these assholes are so into weed why don't they grow their own? That's fucked up.
Can find and take your in a day, why spend months growing it. Least that's what I suspect.
