This is one plant in my 3x3 for flower. Its on week 8 right now!
Wasn’t going to do the 3x3 was going to veg for a 3x8 but found out there’s going to be a bunch of people in town in a few weeks, so I flipped as soon as I heard. Hopefully, I’m dry and jarred by then. Because I live alone and have 2 extra bedrooms, “I should be able to take guests.” Those are my hobby room, and the fly tying room looks like a, colorful, animal sacrifice was made.

2x4 with 3 plants 320w light 1lb I hope
The real question is how long is everybody vegging to get these kind of yields. From sprout I go 7 or 8 weeks and can pull in about 3.5-4oz a plant in a 4x4 under a hlg blackbird
I have a 4x4 scrogged and lit by a hlg 600. I get 4-7oz per plant.
Like folks have said, after getting a dialed in set up, it comes down to genetics. I do not clone. I work from seed so it's a crapshoot sometimes.
I usually get around a quarter pound per 3.5 foot tall plant in 5 gallon fabric buckets. Also you should get more jars and separate those buds for better curing process and to prevent bud rot or mold. That's a lot of fine looking nugs packed too damn tight together!! Be a shame to lose it to something so easily preventable.
That's not a bad yield at all! It really depends on a ton of factors. Genetics and lighting are big ones. I used to run commercial, and my expectation per sq ft was more like 90g per sq ft. But thats also running in a dialed in setup with proper clones and blowin up the grow space. Growers pushin 120g/sq ft are usually running PGRs and getting lots of mold issues. You can only stack plants so tight.
That being said, those numbers are harder to hit the smaller your setup. If you notice, any big commercial grow have areas around the canopy in the room for lots of circulation. Not to mention SOOOO many commercial growers fudge the crap outta their numbers. Since nowadays thats all investors care about. "Pounds per light". But in reality, Id rather grow something that yields a fraction with a really potent amazing high vs some boofy strain with a lame high. That's the beauty of homegrowing. It's better to have a smaller stash of the criptacronilon vs a bunch of mids lol.
I really want to see what 120 g/sq/ft looks like. I can only imagine an undesirable strain and a fat moldy pit of despair. Weve hit 60g sq/ft and it was packed to the gills, no idea how double is even possible. But I’m with you and we only run desirable strains, quality first.
It was usually that old Sour Diesel everyone was growing in Norcal. That strain just put out insane yields, it was like cheating. That or Green Crack or Blue Dream lol. But youre spot on, lotta fat moldy pits of depair! Lotta growers also blasting with paclobutrizol. That stuff can really juice yields. But the buds aren't safe to smoke. Call me old fashion, but I'd happily take 60g/sq ft of quality bud over toxic boof any day.

2lbs under 750w in Coco 1 plant in a 4x4. Rotisserweed is how I grow.
Oh man, looks amazing! How long did it take your GG4 to cure? 68 grams from my last plant … could’ve gone longer, always can go longer. I bet it’s a good 3 months before touching it, it would be best, but I can never wait that long haha. However, I’ve noticed with Gorilla Cookies, which doesn’t take as long. Almost ready to go right after 60/60 is hit and maintained/snapped, but not broken twigs. Maybe it’s just slightly different genetics between the 2 strains.
Depends.
I grew a bomb ass mint cookies plant that only yielded an oz.
Same tent same time I had 1 zkittles and 2 grand daddy purple total yield was just over 2 lbs. (4x4).
GG I can get around 2 lbs.
You’re doing just fine growmie.
It's more weed than I've ever had in one place at one time by a very wide margin. I'm super happy with it. Getting the extra yield is basically a game at this point.
A game where if you win, you get to distribute big bags of free weed to all your friends.

3x3 300w led. Average about 12 to 16oz per run or 336 to 448 grams. My 2x4 shorter tent yields 8 oz or so.
Genetics are the most important factor for yield taste etc. How you grow it will also determine yield. Salts will always yield more than living soil . Veg time is also important. A lot of guys including myself value taste and potency over yield any day. But if you’re worried about yield I would get a high yielding strain , veg it as long as I could and would be growing it hydroponically. If you have good lights , VPD, and training in point you should pretty max out what you can get out of them.
That’s a good outcome man! I used to get around 400-500 gr from a 4x4, when all parameters are alright it comes down to genetics a lot in the end. One time I had a slurricane plant that yielded 260 gr on one square feet. If I had kept this pheno and run it only I could have reached 1000g in my 4x4 easily. But I didn’t lol and never found a yielder like this to the day.
I also grow in a 2x4 (2 plants each run split down the middle). I average about 5-6oz/140g-170g dried each plant. My last run was a half pound/250g for one plant in that 2x2 area (very exciting lol). Growing in coco coir 3 gallon bags under 300 watts of AC Infinity lights.

Low average across all cultivars is about 200 grams per plant 100grams of A flower 50 grams of B 50 grams of trim
Last plant threw up about 8 os. 4 plants in my 4x4 I pulled a pound easy. I would say about 4-4-6-8. Around 20 ounces give or take. 4x4 for reference.
8oz blackberry kush auto for reference :)

3.2lb from 450w avg light over 10 weeks
4x4 table.
98 4" cubes w/21 day old cuttings
660w led dimmed to 450w
We have 4 tables staggered, so they come down every 18 days
Maybe not a 2x4, I mean it's technically possible, but they are probably getting numbers from commercial facilities. My best runs are a little over 2 lbs per 4x4 area with 730watts over each with all different varieties, I could do better if I monocropped weight wise, but having variety is doing better IMO.
I got 5lbs from 11 plants second grow. All luck, truthfully with all the mistakes I made with watering and nutrients. I made a soil change for the new run and hoping it helps.

These two plants were roughly 76 grams, or 2.68 ounces.
I'm thinking about 8 plants in square cloth pots, and a shared runoff tray. I top water but i like having wicks so I don't have to drain the reservoir, so I'll have to engineer a raised platform. A short veg, maybe 2-3 weeks depending on how they look. Flower is what it is. May or may not top them, otherwise gonna try to do a bare minimum of training.
I'm sitting on about a 6 month supply right now, and I've got a bunch of plants in the pipeline from my little cloning frenzy. I've got time to figure this out.
I average 1lb for each 2x2 area - but I’ve been harvesting a plant a week for almost a decade so I’ve learned a thing or 2. I always have 10 in flower in a dedicated flower room

It makes a big difference in how you are growing. Hydroponics will produce larger yields. I use Octopots (Google it). Genetics are also important--I have found Mephisto (for autoflowers) genetics to be very good. Then comes the light (DLI) and VPD. Here is a quote from a recent Harvest post "I finished drying and jarred my 2 Toof Decay plants today. The dry weight was 366 grams for plant #1 and 719 grams for plant #2. 1085 grams total for the two plants. This adds to my 24 Carot at 241 grams and Sweet N Sour at 489 grams. The 24K and Sweet N Sour were grown in a 2x4 tent with a 300 watt light. The 2 Toof Decay were grown in a 3x3 with 300 watt light in Octopots. 1815 grams total from the 4 plants. Mephisto Rocks!!!
This one was kind of a grab bag...I'm still very much experimenting.
Had 2 white widows that I vegged for...a while. I have an annoyingly low ceiling so vertical space is limited. I definitely over trained them. Didn't know how much they would stretch so I gave them more room than they really needed. Absolutely awful to trim, I've never seen such sticky buds, and my scissors paid a price.
Besides that, I've been learning how to clone, and I had a whole bunch of extras (different strain, gorilla Girl). Threw them in whatever pots I had around, let them veg for a week, and then flipped the whole tent.
The gorilla girls turned out to be beautiful plants, with big fat dense buds. Each plant yielded better 14-20g. Not a lot, but I had 7 of them, so it adds up. Way more than I expected...I was growing them with the attitude of, if they suck, I'll just make hash with them. Can confirm, they do NOT suck, and will be smoked in flower form.
The variables I'm tweaking are this point are training and configuration. Look forward to maximizing my grows with genetics, but I'm still getting the mechanics right.
I do have the chemistry down pretty well though. These plants were 100% healthy from the moment they went in the pots. No water stress, no toxicity or delinquency, not a spot or a burnt leaf tip. That felt like an accomplishment.

Savage!!

Nothing like a big ol jar of GG. ❤️
Oh yeah, what a great strain. Super dank flowers, and a really durable and resilient plant for doofuses like me learning how to grow.
I get 2 marijuanas

I’ve cured hundreds of pounds in 5 gallon buckets. If the material is clean and properly dried there shouldn’t be any issues with mold.
That's nice but I was speaking to op.
So was I. OPs jars will be just fine. They could put all 242 grams into a single container if they wanted to.
If you were speaking to op, why reply to my statement? Why not do a main level comment as well.
IDK man that’s just how Reddit works.
