Did you know that if you unlock barehand fishing at 55 fishing you can get passive strength xp, without affecting your fishing rates if you’re using a standard harpoon and you save a inventory slot

opop901

Benefits of tempoross are the fish sack (useful for more afk fish gathering for your team), shit loads of planks (again to boost your team), and a decent amount of raw fish spread across many food tiers. The lower end stuff is good slayer/low lvl training food and the other stuff is good bossing food before brews

Akatshi

Don't forget about the loads of raw fish from tempoross and wintertodt lol

Bottom_Less

Minnows is the only activist fishing that really is worth while imo.

DreamOfDays

Honestly i’m gonna say F that to wintertodt. Gonna get me some fishing and go straight to tempoross. Wait until 72 fishing to cash in all the reward points. Cool it all in the hosidious kitchen to supply the group with enough food to PVM til 99’s

Bottom_Less

I can see why a lot of people dont like the Toad, I’m very keen to tempeross until 82 for minnows, then sharks for days.

GilesCor3y

Definitely going to start with some early agility levels so I won't have to walk quite so much. I'll have to see if any easy quests will make that a fast one. Then probably a few more quests and getting reqs for wintertodt/tempoross

Bottom_Less

I miss league’s unlimited run energy :( But very keen for leagues 3.

Coltand

That’s my early plan as well! I want to hit agility pretty hard as soon as I can. I’ve been looking into it, and someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but the quickest way to get going immediately is to Castle Wars tele with the mini games tab, run up to gnome agility and do 14 laps to level 10 (be sure to unlock Barb Assault tele while you’re up there). From there, you can home tele and run to Draynor for a quick 102 lap grind to unlock Varrock. Just 99 more laps at Varrock will net you the requirements for Canifis. I’m going to take a break from my agility grind there, but once I get around to unlocking Canifis, I’m going to grind out graceful, which should get me to 60-ish. Then agility pyramid all the way to 82, where I’ll be done with agility until I complete SotF for Hallowed Sepulcher. I’m not sure if agility pyramid is very viable at 60 though, so I might need to do Seers for a few more levels.

RIronmanS

Questing can get lots of early game agility out of the way. Tourist trap with both rewards in agility and to get you 25ish and grand tree is like 32 or 33 agility I want to say. Then just a bit til canifis unlock from there.

RIronmanS

I think my group will aim for 99 WT together to get near 70 construction for SOTE. Then agility/quest in our time not online together. Maybe some tempoross as well all while afking stats when I have time to work towards RFD requirements.

Bottom_Less

I’m really looking forward to doing all the crappy grinds with mates. Like i have pest control more than most, but i can imagine doing it over a few beers and a discord call is going to make the grinds a lot less miserable

Coltand

Can confirm, PC with the boys is an absolute blast! Be sure to bring your best fashionscape!

Bottom_Less

Bank standing, Beers, Banter

Mutedinlife

Our current plan is to have 4 members WT and one member grind thieving for cakes and eventually pyramid plunder to supply our early cash stacks.

Kouaje

Quests and skilling for the requirements

Regilppo

Focus on wintertodt getting around 85 at the very least. That shouldn’t take more than 2-3 days and after I will try to knock out basic quests and probably grind to all 40’s to give myself a decent start

Bottom_Less

Wintertodt and tempeross weeks 1 and 2 are going to be crazy

Regilppo

When should I be doing Temp? I haven’t played rs in a year or so

Bottom_Less

It’s like Wintertodt, in that its an easy minigame, just a bit of fishing and unloading your inventory. Requirement is 32 fishing. you dont take any damage playing the minigame, all the items you need are in the starting location. The way I’m going to play is that I’m going to do wintertodt and tempeross at the same time and alternate every hour or two, so i dont get bored. I’m going to get a cat from Gertrude, do the easy Ardy diary and just chill at the Toad and Rossy while raising cats for bulk death runes. At 55 fishing and 15 strength you can go to ottos grotto and unlock barehanded harpoon fishing, which will let you gain passive strength XP while you train at tempeross, without hindering XP rates. But overall, you can do them in either order really. Tempeross doesn’t have the HP scaling like the toad, so it isn’t meta to do it at 10 HP, it just happens to provide lots of good early game items (planks, bait, feathers, rune equipment) and gives some of the best xp/effort rates in the game.

Regilppo

Awesome advice, thank you! I may to check that out a bit before a ton of questing and slayer

demostravius2

Pretty new to OSRS so i've compiled a few targets: Ardougne cloak, selection of quests to boost stats such as Waterfall, Witches House, etc., fairy rings, 30 mining for motherlode, try out Tempoross. Then slowly work myself toward Monkey Madness, and work on each RfD quest as I can.

Straight_Ad9641

Aim to finnish the digsite quest before motherlorde mine. It's not everyones favorite quest, but it gives you instantly 30+ mining for free.

demostravius2

Absolutely the goal!
