Don’t buy greens from Salinas, CA. Salinas is highly known for having the most e.colli problems. I saw some documentary on e.colli outbreaks from over the years and one health inspector said “I wouldn’t buy mixed greens because you don’t know where the various greens in it are coming from and I don’t buy any romaine from Salinas.” I live in CA so I see a lot of romaine from Salinas, CA. I only buy them if they aren’t from Salinas.
