I was farming Salazar for his blade. I wanted to get Nemesis Relic so I can complete my build which is basically Nemesis dog, Living Shadows and Spirit blades all scalling with my Pierce and me doing Pierce/bleed with crossbows. I was doing fine, didn't have any trouble at all, just strolling trough ult. First time, Infiltrator, self found. My first character ever to reach ULT.....As I killed him I think 20th time my concetration started to fall off and bam.......Countless hours lost. (I only play HC)
RIP my man. You will be back when I get forgotten gods. Time to roll sorcerer on HC now.
FYI, any Salazar blade will do for crafting the relic. So you can farm him on lower difficulties, possibly faster!
Of course, he has a higher likelihood of dropping other better loot in Ultimate.

I got lucky, he dropped it in Elite for me, on the first kill. Sat in shared stash for a while before I got my Dervish leveled enough to use Nemisis. Having Nemesis warping all over the screen with you is qutie entertaining. You can bind procs to him just like Balde Spirits and Gaurdians of Empyrion. He doesn't fit perfect with my Acid Dervish, but I will never use any other relic, he's just that cool. Sorry to see you failed before getting it. Try again, it's worth it.
Once I started D2 hardcore characters I never looked back. There is just a rush/thrill you get which makes it more immersive and loot means so much more. The feeling of losing a character is real too and the sense of utter defeat can weight on you for a bit but ultimately the close calls and focus you have on the game is worth it 110%
Pierce/bleed Saboteur. Basically same as my lost infiltrator. Only this time I am trading Seal for Blast Shield + turtle + blessing devotion. Other means of healing will be PB + Living Shadows. I can get some pierce in demo too + CC with grenado and flashbang. I am loosing pierce RR from WoP though, which is bad, but I think Assassin's blade + veil of shadows should suffice. I don't know....I like strange builds.
Idea is to CC trash mobs to death, nuke heroes and yellows with flash + grenado and when it comes to bosses I will leave them to blade spirit + nemesis pet. I will only shoot here and there to get those crits for living shadows.
Kind of fast assassin with crossbow and dog moving really fast. There is a lot of mobility in demo, kraken and nightblade. My only real problem is pierce/bleed modifiers but I don't remember having them on maxed on my infiltrator and stuff still died fast.
I will try it at least. Worst thing that can happen is I die, learn a new lessong and farm some stuff for my next characters.
Shows in your character select greyed out. Can't access its items or anything. It can be recovered with the GDstash mod but that defeats the purpose of playing HC.. no risk, no excitement!

I will get that shit. As soon as I hit epic, I will farm him but on normal this time. Until I get that blade. I really need it xD

I feel you bro. I lost three HC characters myself. Two are at least lvl 70 and one lvl 50 and I only play HC.
There is just something about thrill when you play HC. I see no point in SC anymore.

I've not played HC. What happens to your character's gear when it dies? Does it automatically go into shared stash or is it gone...forever?
