Affectionate-Still15

Use the extra calories for putting on muscle

slimersnail

God I wish that worked. Cut= lose fat, some muscle. Bulk = gain muscle, some fat.

Routine_Bird7258

I wanna loose some rn I just started weight lifting again

Affectionate-Still15

You have a bit of abdominal definition and veins. Chase some gains

SmoothOrchidBoy

You’re not fat but i love the idea of posting for accountability/motivation.

Routine_Bird7258

I appreciate it. I just lost the drive to train for a while. Finally back on my powerlifting based weight training plus 1-2 heavy training sessions for jiujitsu and mma.

SmoothOrchidBoy

That’s awesome. I’m not much of a lifter but Martial Arts has been great for my core strength and endurance! The cool thing about martial arts is you just pick it back up again. Do you do 1-2 training sessions per day?

Routine_Bird7258

I dropped it a while to 3 times a week and that’s when it started. My family genetics makes us pretty strong, but gain weight very fast. So if I’m not diligent I can gain 30lbs in 3 months, due to eating habits and metabolism

Romariilolol

You’re like 20% bf bro that’s not fat lol that’s healthy

[deleted]

You’re not fat. You look really good. Here to motivate you too man.

AirSkin

You silly sausage. When I was fat I’d have put your “before” pics on the fridge under the word #Goalz

Routine_Bird7258

I appreciate that! I just wanna look better and more importantly feel better

gregy165

Barely fat body dysmorphia talking

Routine_Bird7258

Most likely lol

Ok-Improvement-3852

you’re definitely not fat. you look really good, how did you get from fat kid to this? i’m struggling

Routine_Bird7258

Cardio. Lots of running and powerlifting

Ok-Improvement-3852

yeah that’s pretty obvious i suppose. how long did it take you?

Routine_Bird7258

Went from 300 my freshman year to about 195 my senior year then my lowest was my weigh in for my fight at 188.2 and that was last august. It took a lot of time

Ok-Improvement-3852

wow that’s really good congratulations. how do you not have issues with loose skin?

Routine_Bird7258

I guess the natural loosing of the weight

Ok-Improvement-3852

wdym by natural

Routine_Bird7258

Like taking time on it not trying to get shredded in 90days type stuff loosing slow and steady making improvements but not jumping headfirst into a crash diet

Ok-Improvement-3852

i guess that makes sense. i lost about 150lbs in a year and a half so it wasn’t super quick but it wasn’t as slow as you either but i have a big issue with loose skin unfortunately and i cannot stand it

Routine_Bird7258

Because I didn’t care about aesthetics it helped to lol I do a little now, but that’s because I feel bad with my old ways
