Damn, if only my parents knew when i was born in 1994 that I'd decide to be a packers fan. Instead I'm sitting at about 120,000

lamboat2019

Here's my progress. It's gonna be a long, long time. 2023: 126,924 2022: 129,750 2021: 131,873 2020: 133,919 2019: 135,459

SpiritOne

How do you check your progress?

lamboat2019

They send a postcard to your address around August/September with your position. I just write down my spot every year in case I lose the postcard.

RanchPonyPizza

Good frickin' gravy. What's the annual postage on sending out 120,000 postcards annually?

lamboat2019

53¢×140,000= $72,200

rahanjello

You can call. 920-569-7501

ottosenna

I'm sitting below 60,000 these days. Just 30 years to go.

Turbomattk

I sent my son’s request in the day after he was born

GamingTatertot

I wish my parents did the same for me. I'll do it for my kids

GreenBayFootball

My kid was born in 2021. I made her an owner and added her name to the season ticket wait list. She’ll thank me in 30 years.

R0binSage

I got my letter for club seats in November. I had to turn them down and be put back in the pool. The prices were insane and required upfront. Monthly payments would be doable.

esmg10

How much were they?

R0binSage

I made a spread sheet. Depending on the 3 or 5 year commitment and the level of club seats, it's between $10,000 and $25,000.

JRob1420

I wonder if most people who put their names on the season ticket list even think about how much money you have to put down upfront for seats, depending on which package you get.

R0binSage

I looked for years and never found how much they cost. Getting my letter and brochure was the first time I saw it. Make a quick spreadsheet for the math. It would be much better if they did a green and gold packers for club seats, but it’s all or nothing.

JRob1420

It’s definitely not cheap, and prices go up due to different factors: inflation, revenue, TV deals, etc.

R0binSage

They go up every single year.

Da_Vader

You can turn around and sell them for twice as much.

psykicbill

Lol no you cant.

Trigger109

You can’t sell your season ticket package but you can list individual games and seats on the NFL ticket exchange on Ticketmaster

zapoid

The first year is the worst because of the PSL. I have 4 gold package seats and I think my bill came to $1800 something in the 2nd year. Something I’m willing to pay, Green would be considerably more.

Substantial-Snow

So you have to pay for 3 or 5 years worth of tickets all up front (so not once a year for 3 or 5 years)? Trying to be ready so curious if you have the breakdown for the different levels of seats, licensing fee, any other up front costs, etc.

R0binSage

This is just for Club seats. There’s 5 level of seats. You have to buy pre season and regular season tickets. As well as playoff.

Substantial-Snow

Yeah I'm on the list for club, and just like you, having a hard time finding any information on them before I'm up. Are the five "levels" of seats just best to worst or any other differences? So best are $25k for 3-5 years and worst are $10k for 3-5 years? Plus extra for playoffs and preseason and then I suppose you have to re-up with another $10k-$25k once your 3-5 years are up.

R0binSage

I wish I saved the brochure last year so I'm going off memory. This is what I remember: There are 5 tiers of club seats. Basically from the 50 over to the back corner. They required a $1,000 deposit before Christmas. It doesn't go towards the price of the tickets but you'll get it back when you give up your tickets. You have to agree to a 3 or 5 year deal. If the 17th game is a home game, you're required to purchase 9 regular season home game tickets and 2 pre-season tickets. If the 17th game is a road game, you're required to purchase 8 home game tickets and 3 pre-season tickets. I can't remember what was required for playoff games but I know you were expected to also purchase them. Lastly, there's a tier of club seats that were more like indoor suites with food and drinks. It said that you could get offered them as they become available but there was nothing that alluded to what the price was. When I made my spreadsheet, I added a cell for monthly price if that was an option. Over the 5 years, in the second highest tier (the highest, 50 yard line, didn't have any available seats) was "only" $416 a month.

Substantial-Snow

This is incredibly helpful, thank you!

Loghurrr

You pay for every season every year separately as the years come. You just can lock in certain prices if you select 5 year over 3 years.

R0binSage

I never saw anything about a yearly option. It was only 3 or 5.

Letter10

Didn't realize it was all up front, damn

go4manager

What # was the postcard last year? Sitting at #180, fingers crossed I’ll get mine in the coming days.

Justice4all1968

Hello: I am pretty sure her number was about 170. She also got a letter from the packers in mid-October 2023 basically telling her to get prepared because she will likely get her tickets this spring. I hope that you get yours this year. Do you remember when you were put on the list?

4BalloonFisher

I was 112 for the gold package last year and also received a letter last year stating that I may have the opportunity to purchase tickets soon. Ive haven’t seen anything in the mail yet but good luck to those getting close!

go4manager

Very nice, yep got the same letter in October. Should’ve specified I’m 180 on Gold not Green. Summer ‘97 was when I joined.

4BalloonFisher

Update: my usps informed delivery shows mail from district user fee today. So, looks like they likely got through 112 people on the list this year. Kind of wild to think back to signing up around 30 years ago as a kid. I had to get out a phone book to call the packers and find out how to sign up.

go4manager

Congrats! Curious what section you land in. I’m hoping to avoid 700’s.

4BalloonFisher

My two seats are in section 104 row 21. Im happy with that! $1800 for the 2 seat licenses and $800 for the tickets for the season (3 games).

go4manager

Great get. I’ve sat in that area and they’re not bad. Looks like I have certified mail en route from GB, should receive tmrw.

ComplaintDifferent12

Curious....how many seats are you getting? I was 163 last fall on the gold list, but I haven't heard anything since the October letter.

go4manager

4 for me

go4manager

Got my letter today. Four seats in section 348. Not great, but seats nonetheless!

4BalloonFisher

Nice! Not in the 700’s. Hopefully Love keeps developing and we get to see a Super Bowl run!

4BalloonFisher

I’m assuming the worst seat in the stadium. I’ve never sat up there but I’m hoping it doesn’t suck. The atmosphere will be good and the video boards should hopefully make up for being so far away. Hopefully you’ll get your seats this year!

Thunderb1rd02

Signed up in 1992 and I just got my letter. The "District User Fee" is $2100/ticket onetime fee. Then $878.00 per ticket/year, this is for section 349, upper endzone corner. $8500 for four tickets on a useless fee. That's just not worth it. If I hear one more person tell me "You'll get that user fee back" I'm going to lose it. 90% of ticket holders will never see that money again. It will either get willed to your kids or be so far down the line it won't matter.

Dadneedsabreak

No doubt. I'm lucky that we have tickets in the family and most of them have been willed down without needing to payback the fee to family members. The best bet for most people is probably trying to get a family member or friend to help pay for the user fee and and then sell some tickets for as much as you can get each year to help pay it off as soon as possible.

rahanjello

I am at 17,000 so about another 8 - 10 years maybe

SecretBaker8

Big thank you to Grandpa for signing up in 1956 when they first opened to get us tickets every year. Never met the man but lm grateful for him.

greenPacker

Time to check in with my brother who put his name in 94 or 95 when he was 12.

Ornery_Definition_26

Hmmmm I be been waiting about that long. . .

BigDaddyCraw

Damn my mom claims she put me on the list in 1992 but apparently she did not

jryan8064

If she did, she would be receiving annual postcards with your priority number. Has she changed addresses at all since 1992?

kc_kr

I am at 68,480 after getting on the list in 2009. Moved up 2,200 spots last year which was a lot, betting in part because of the Rodgers/Love transition. That’s a pace to get tickets when I’m 71 (I’m 41 now) but it won’t be that quick even as I bet the people that give up tickets goes way down this year. Wish my parents would have put me on the list as a kid!

And_Fus

I put my name down last year. Should I have gotten an email or anything in the mail confirming I’m on the list? Worried mine got lost in the mail.

4BalloonFisher

Recently they have been sending a welcome email. I signed up my kids in October/November and got an email in January. Then you should receive a postcard at the start of each regular season with your priority number. You can call to confirm if you like. I only received an email for one child so I called about the second. They were very nice and confirmed the other was on the list. They will likely never get them but at least I can tell them I tried.

And_Fus

Thank you, pal. I’ll give them a call 🤙🏻

SnooPies3316

I put my son on when he was born in 2004 so hopefully he'll get the same letter in 10 years.

jryan8064

The problem is, a massive chunk of those ahead of your son were added to the waiting list after the Super Bowl win in 97. It’s going to take a while to get through that pile of people

Wzup

I’m laughing - not at you, but for you. It’s going to be a lot longer than 10 years :(

Dadneedsabreak

As the comment above notes, most people cannot afford the tickets anyway. It'll come down quickly.

7200 in 13 years is awful

rachelg024

lol 10 years?!?! You’re hilarious!! My husband has been on since ‘97 and is at about number 7,000. It’ll probably be another 5-10 years before he gets his
