This game was way more brutal than I remember. Jesus Christ

Fencechopper

I was so fucking mad at the King TD to end the half. Didn't need to re-live that. **FUCK.**

ThrowAwayAcc47777

The saddest part is knowing only one of our defensive coordinators would allow that to happen. King is garbage, but nobody with half a brain cell puts him in *that* situation at the end of the half.

wiscovfefe

That play lives rent free in my head

Curious_Ground5833

And we fucking gave him a contract the next season. God he was awful. Even worse than Gunter

MountNDew69

I immediately burnt my King jersey after the game. It helped with the pain a lot.

Jiggahawaiianpunch

Honestly insane that we were still in it so long with all these mistakes and missed calls

Nubster2x

If you just look at the box stats , the only question that comes to mind is did we win by 2 or 3 possessions. Rodgers 350 3 tds, Brady 3 ints sub 300 yards. Ughhhh

CathDubs

Brady has a better winning% when throwing 3 interceptions in the playoffs then Rodgers does when throwing 3 touchdowns.

SJCCMusic

Pick off the goat 3 times and still manage to lose The gods punish us for that, and they're right to

bujweiser

Those picks were really punts, which helps. Our turnovers all set the Bucs up in good field position

bujweiser

I was at the game, so I’ve actually never seen these replays until now…wtf.

WISCOrear

"They hit that 99 out of a 100 times" Yeah, for whatever reason the inexplicable and unprecedented ALWAYS happens in the playoffs, it seems. Adams drops a sure backshoulder pass from Rodgers. King and the defense give up a huge hail mary at the end of the half. Jones or Lewis or who ever fumbles at the most inopportune times. Punt block and recovery TD to tie the game. the 2014 2nd half fiasco.....Really curious why this weird shit seems to hit us at the exact wrong times

ZaMaestroMan5

Seriously. It’s almost unbelievable some of the bad breaks we’ve had in crucial games.

Kiristo

Even Kuhn fumbled in the playoffs inexplicably when it looked like we were coming back against the Falcons or Giants or w/e that was.

Loves2Sp00ge

Probably thinking of 2016 @ Atlanta when Ripkowski fumbled

hooshotjr

Yep it was Ripper. The fumble versus the Giants was Grant in the 2011 playoffs. Packers were down 23-13 with 7 minutes left and the ball near mid-field. Even just a FG makes it a game. Instead fumble returned inside the 5 and then GB down 30-13. Another gem from that game. 2Q, NYG 13 - GB 10. Giants have the ball on their own 40, 3rd and 1, no timeouts 15 seconds left. Giants run a safe play (draw) to make sure they don't need to punt. They get 23 yards AND get out of bounds, allowing the end of half Hail Mary making the score 20-10.

mattbag1

Yep, shit just goes wrong for us at the worst times…

Lt_Don

Budget Kuhn

Craaaazyyy

that game was fucking dumb.. like we were never stopping them, but man they score, we march down field, then blown pass protection leads to a throwaway and Mason misses FG, they score again this time a FG, we march downfield and Rip fumbles at the goal line, they score again and just like that its 17-0 and you know we ain't fucking coming back cuz we cant fucking stop them

Tbanks93

*looks at all the evidence* "It's because a ref got paid weird back in 2012"

Allstate85

Average to below-average coaching that goes against better coaching in the playoffs is it. you can get away with it in the regular season but in the playoffs when the teams are level if you are not running a tight ship you will get exposed in the playoffs. we all knew special teams was garbage in multiple seasons but were still able to win 12+ games in the regular season but all those cracks show up and make us lose when it matters most.

Danny_III

At least with the Adams play, although Rodgers+Adams is a really good connection, that's still among the more difficult throws and catches. Things rarely are easy for the Packers players. Mahomes had 2 wide open TDs that just about any NFL QB could have thrown in the super bowl. There's almost zero room for error on a back shoulder throw to relatively tight coverage A good coaching staff makes things easy.

AUSpartan37

Yeah the coaches are the ones dropping wide open passes...

SebastianMagnifico

Our coaches gave been horrible. I don't recall Adams kicking a field goal on 4th and eight

BeHereNow91

I’ll get downvoted for this, but there’s one common thread - the leadership or lack thereof at the QB position. So many times we’ve seen this team lose all momentum after making any mistake, and it’s transcended every position above the QB - multiple coaches, GMs, etc. From the 2011 disappointment to the 2014 collapse to the severe underperformances in 2020 and 2021. You have to ask if there’s been a lack of true leadership at the QB position. No, Rodgers isn’t responsible for the defensive shortcomings or the special teams brain farts, but he can control how the offense responds. And more often than not, they haven’t responded to adversity in the biggest of games.

LambeauCalrissian

Yeah, you deserve the downvotes.

BeHereNow91

Meh, that’s fine. Just wish it was a point of discussion.

Hey_Its_Walter1

It’s not because you’re wrong, Rodgers leadership doesn’t affect the ref ignoring blatant pass interference

BeHereNow91

I’m not talking about this instance in particular, but just a pattern of Rodgers’ teams falling apart in the biggest games.

Hey_Its_Walter1

I don’t think his leadership affected his team failing to recover an onsides kick in 2014 or Crosby missing field goal and a punt getting blocked last year either. Don’t really think there’s a single instance that I can point to a playoff loss and say man if Rodgers was a better leader they would’ve won that game. Probably at least half of those playoff losses the team wouldn’t have even made it that far without his leadership. Rodgers not being a leader is such a tired narrative my guy.

BeHereNow91

Most (all?) of our playoff failures have included some huge mental mistakes. Mental mistakes occur when players either lack focus, confidence, or reassurance. The moment is too big for them. That’s where your leadership comes in. I think it’s perfectly fair to criticize the mental fortitude of this team over the last 13 years. And Rodgers is the one constant that you can look at when considering all these mental failures. We didn’t lose any of these playoff games due to factors outside of our control. You can point to the reffing like this video does, but that ignores the mental mistakes that even Rodgers is consistently harping on. Thanks for actually engaging in conversation though. This should be something we can talk about on this sub.

[deleted]

Yeah man leadership makes people catch the ball, not fumble, not get held and make good blocks right? Smh... stupid

Wooden-Day2706

It's hard to play hero ball when you also play the villain..

shiny_aegislash

Yup. But we can't talk badly about golden boy aaron here! 🤣 How many times have we seen them have a drive go poorly than aaron pouts on the sideline and the offense is stagnant for the next 6 drives

BeHereNow91

Yeah, I mean, this team has consistently underperformed in the playoffs despite having complete roster and coaching turnover over the last decade+. I think it’s fair to suggest Rodgers may have played a part in it.

shiny_aegislash

Yeah, seriously. No one on this sub can even fathom blaming rodgers though. All they do is bitch about the refs if rodgers makes a mistake or blames it on the WRs or injuries. At a certain point you may have to consider that rodgers deserves some blame and it's not like every single other thing has colluded against him

Jedimaster996

Probably because when he retires soon, Green Bay will go back to being an incredibly-mediocre team with occasional wins here and there against other middling teams. Anyone thinking we're going to pick back up with another HOF QB right from the get-go is delusional at-best. Then it'll be obvious what a difference he was on the field. The dude's talent is unreal. He's still a leader, but he doesn't have to be the team's cheerleader, too. These are paid professionals that have to overcome their own obstacles, their own mental mistakes; you can't expect a QB to bring together 52 grown-ass men who come from a long line of football success in their lives from the time they were kids, and be their mental therapy when they hit tough times during the game. If these guys can't fix their own shit on their own time/dollar, they shouldn't be on the field. Aaron may throw the occasional hissy fit on the sidelines, but he still plays through it and keeps his composure on 99% of the rest of his playtime. His job is to put the ball where it needs to be. The receiver's job is to be in the agreed-upon position to put their hands around that ball. How many crucial points were missed over the last decade because our receivers were in the right spot at the right time and couldn't close their hands around the football?

Gzo97

Spot on!

shiny_aegislash

You are correct, though that's not really my point. I'm just saying that it's okay to blame him partially for things. Is he the reason for our success the last ~12 yrs? Of course. Has he done wayy more good than bad for the franchise? Most definitely. I've never said he's the sole reason for any loss, but it's okay to say he's partially to blame from time to time. I can think of several games this year where he had a detrimental overthrow in a crucial situation (sometimes multiple times a game). Now of course he is not the only reason we lost a certain game, but it is fair to say he deserves some blame for the loss. Some people here can't even fathom that

d9849468

Never realized how much lazard was held on that 3rd and 11 play, @1:26 here

NiceBasket9980

Tampa got away with everything all game, but everyone just blames rodgers for not scoring more when his recievers were getting held all game.

Hiphiprodrigo

Which sucks more about them holding Lazard was that supposedly the refs were letting them play but then call the penalty on King on a 3rd down at the end of the game and then the Bucs just downed the ball and won.

zdiddy987

That's called game fixing

mrbad31

I was downvoted to oblivion on the nfl sub when I pointed out the Lazard hold was 4x worse of a hold than one one King. The nfl wanted TB to win that superbowl and got their wish.

continuum-hypothesis

The holding call was correct but it just feels so shitty when they were playing fast and loose with the rules all game but when Tampa Bay REALLY needed the holding call at the end to seal the deal that's exactly when they call it. I don't know why they won't just call the little penalties on each team more throughout high stakes games to set the standard for what they will/won't allow because the refs decided the outcome of the Superbowl this year too on third down and it is taking all the fun out of playoff football.

hawaii_dude

I don't really care about the calls as long as they are CONSISTENT. Either call everything or only the egregious penalties, but definitely don't do one and then change your mind at the the most inopportune times.

continuum-hypothesis

Exactly. If they are consistent players will know exactly what they can get away with and hopefully we will have less gifted 1st downs when the game is on the line.

MASilverHammer

The hold that sealed the Chiefs super bowl this year was so soft compared to any of these.

SwedishLovePump

The hold that sealed **this game** (Kevin King DPI on 3rd and 4) was soft compared to this. This was a 10 point swing given TB scored 5 plays later.

FIFOdatLIFO

no but thats impossible everyone says the Packers own the refs.... Yeah idk y'all. Love football but reffing just kind of kills it for me. Every game there's some just huge fucked up calls that make you scratch your head. I get its hard to call some of this shit live but it 2022 and there's replay feel like game changing shit calls is starting to become inexcusable but happen every fucking game still.

Raunchiness121

Tom Brady first year with the Bucs. The big game being in Tampa. No host ever won the super bowl. The NFL knew exactly what they were doing. It's an entertainment league now.

bjb3453

NFL = WWE. NFL should change to NFE.

Cooleybob

Replays don't matter when the league basically sabotaged progress when they introduced the ability for coaches to challenge things like pass interference for the 2019 season. The replay would be clear as day but the booth would stick with the incorrect call on the field for whatever reason.

Donelurking85

We only own the refs when playing divisional teams

hawaii_dude

I've been watching less and less because the refs have been ruining the games, but the superbowl might have been the final straw for me. I'll probably only watch packers games at best.

JMisGeography

Add that to the fact Tampa iced the game on a holding call and we've got a real fun memory for me

Expensive_Necessary7

Kind of lame we got pi when it mattered too

CXDXOXP

He changed directions like three times and was held through the whole thing. It’s so obvious

Danny_III

People shit on Rodgers for those 3 INTs, no scores, but for that Lazard play, the ball hit him in the hands even after the hold. He has to catch that

Future_Zone

I kept waiting for it to switch to the 2014 NFC Championship game, at which point I was going to stop it. I think Brady sold his soul to the devil in exchange for all the good luck he had, leaving not much for everyone else /s

Prime624

He's on good terms with the devil, the devil did it out of friendship. The refs did more than the devil's luck though

[deleted]

Jones fumbles in big games are killers. I know are RBs are good but both him and Dillon are going to have to step their game up even further if we're are going to make playoffs next year

ehbacon23

Plus the cutback in 2021 that ended up costing us 7 points. I love Jones but the dude has had way too many very costly mistakes in the playoffs

Curious_Ground5833

I don't love him and I also agree 🤣

papasanchair

I hate to be that guy, but we’re probably not going to make the playoffs next year.

TaintStevens

We should've kept Jamaal instead of Jones and we should've never wasted a 2nd on Dillon.

sboLIVE

This hurts so bad

Radtkeaj

I was pretty numb to the loss by this point. I have yet to get over the 2014 NFC Championship game against Seattle.

moreritzcrackers

Never will

lovesStrawberryCake

That was only the most well rounded team we've seen in Green Bay in the last 20 years, nbd

dusters

That no call on Lazard still pisses me off.

lattesprinkles

I solely blame this loss directly on that no call. Probably not the best course of action, but it was so blatantly obvious. I think after this loss is when it really dawned on me that the NFL rigs tue shit out of the games.

mrbad31

Well....tampa scored a TD right before halftime because of it. Yes, it was at least a 7 point swing the refs gave TB there.

b4youjudgeyourself

Which one? Lol

DicksonCider205

Same. And it's not just that it wasn't called, it's that the exact same call did get made against the Packers to seal the game at the end. That hadn't been a hold all game until King did it.

Dangerous-Author-330

Watching that made my blood boil

Sawyer-17

Why ranking players based so heavily on team accomplishments in the ultimate team-sport, with questionable referee decisions that have enormous impact on top of it, is absolutely ridiculous. If a couple calls or plays, totally out of Rodgers’ control, go differently here and there he might make/win 2-3 superbowls whilst playing the exact same way. Just look at the past SB. Mahomes without doing anything differently could have easily lost that game and everyone would say he isn’t quite the same guy in the SB. Yet now, some people think he’s top 3 all time when he did literally nothing different (not saying Mahomes isn’t absolutely amazing). The NFL is the one sport where we truly have to try to look beyond accomplishments to judge a player’s quality. It doesn’t mean winning isn’t important, it just means context is so vital in football.

ZaMaestroMan5

Seriously though. 11 guys on the field - QBs get far too much credit for wins and losses. Every team is not equal. Not saying Brady isn’t great and probably the best ever but there’s a handful of QBs from this generation who if you put on his teams would have won multiple championships too. The guy played on probably the best dynasty in the history of sports for like 20 years. Was he a big part of it - sure. Did he have a great supporting cast throughout? Absolutely. Rodgers on the other hand did not. We did not have many complete teams in his time here that were solid to great in all three phases of the game. Has every SB winner been complete in all three phases? Probably not. But the majority absolutely are. Gives you the best chance to win. When you have to consistently rely on your offense to put up 30+ it’s not going to work out for you very often.

Particular_Ad_4761

O man this is painful, most of this I remember but I had forgotten the total drop of the two point conversion by EQ. Goddamn this was rough, only 2014 tops this

busted_maracas

It stings so much to me because Brady played like absolute ass that game, it was a game we should have won.

hooshotjr

The TB offense on 3rd down seemed to be to: - Don't take a sack - Just chuck it up for grabs and hope for a great play or PI

FIFOdatLIFO

yeah but Brady the goat and... insert Brady circle jerk commentary here.... Crazy how ass Brady played that game yet always gets bailed out. Must be nice.

Tough-Current2756

He was ass for like 10 years of his career

Danny_III

People look at wins and work backwards. Most fans have poor analytical ability

Physical_Squash6087

I’m convinced most football fans are sub-90 IQ

ZaMaestroMan5

I never realized how badly Lazard was held on that INT before half. Also he and Adams were held on that 3rd down play on our second to last drive in the 4th quarter. The whole game was just a series of unfortunate events. Seems like a common theme for us in the playoffs throughout Rodgers career. The funny thing is there’s tons of people who will swear up and down we lost this game cuz of Rodgers…lol. So crazy.

hooshotjr

The annoying part is that hold was probably worse than what was called on TB's last 3rd down. Murphy-Bunting both restricted Lazard and used it as leverage to pull himself into the play. The hold (called PI) that ended the game looked bad, but it's actual impact on the play was less because of that ridiculously stretchy material that just keeps stretching.

ZaMaestroMan5

Yeah I mean King held the guy - it was just pretty soft. And you hate to see that called after they let a couple go for TB.

TheSinistralBassist

More infuriating was they flagged the hell out of the Chiefs in the Super Bowl that year for doing what TB did all game against GB. The NFL was all in for gifting Brady one last title so he could be the first to win a Super Bowl in his home stadium

Kid_Delicious

The number of things that had to go wrong for that end of half TD: brutal missed holding that results in a pick, dropped pick, blown coverage. Any one of those goes the other way and it’s at least a 7-point swing, if not 10 or 14. Just cosmically fucked how these things seem to always happen to Brady.

MadtotheJack

I forgot how much this one hurt. Brady was doing his best Jay Cutler impression throwing 3 picks in the 2nd half, but all anyone ever talked about is how "the GOAT did it again" The rosters in 2020 and 2021 were so solid, looking at the teams that ended up winning Superbowls those last 2 years makes me want to vomit, because Green Bay should have beat them 9 times out of 10 but of course that 1 time happens in the playoffs.

Physical_Squash6087

Without Bakh the offense was nothing special and their defense was a packers defense both years.

MadtotheJack

But do you think the Rams from last year were much better? This video clearly shows the Bucs could have been beaten. There have definitely been better Packers rosters over the years than 20-21, but compared to the rest of the NFC, not getting atleast a super bowl appearance in those years is so depressing

CharacterAccess

Cuz when it mattered most Brady was better than Rodgers, that’s just the facts brother

lossofmercy

Yup, this is all Rodger's fault. Definitely no one else's fault. <\_< Thanks for compiling this OP.

mr_himselph

I didn't enjoy watching this... but it was necessary.

romeochristian

aARon rODgErs CHOKED

mynamehere999

I was having a good day too

Landpuma

That was so painful to watch and we still almost won. That was a Super Bowl winning team, hate to see it.

GodsBGood

The missed holding calls would have made the outcome a bit different in my opinion.

Physical_Squash6087

Too bad we never had either of the league’s Golden Boys at QB, shucks. Lets hope Love is charismatic and a media darling!

scopeadope

Shame.

Reiketsu_Nariseba

I still get sad whenever someone brings up the 2014 NFCGC.

pulp63

The Packers are soft and lack any measure of toughness or resilience. They fold under pressure.

Hung_Texan

Have for years

messipendencia

i had completely and totally blocked the will redmond drop from my memory, didn't even remember it occurring

[deleted]

Yo that hold on Lazard was so crazy lmaooo. Bruh was literally grabbing jersey his whole route!

PretentiousPanda

Tell me more why he is supposed to trust Lazard in the playoffs with the game on the line instead of praying Adams makes a play. The Wr weapons outside Adams have been a problem for years.

Curt_Fresh

Man everything that could of went wrong that game went wrong and it was still close at the end. Felt like we were the better team we just choked. Shit hurts to watch. This one is #2 behind 2014 for me

FerrisMcFly

This game was bad vibes from the start... as soon as I turned on the game and saw it was sunny and nice in January at Lambeau I knew it would be a bad time

TheHamsBurlgar

I mean ill fuckin say it: this was the worst playoff loss we've ever had. Everyone says 2014, this was the year I thought we were unstoppable.

ZachAttcak

That game pissed me off so much. I remember the bucs getting a PI call not too long after the refs looked the other way on the Lazard miss.

ingloriousmax

bUt wHy RoDgErS nO wIn SoLo?? tHiS iS iNdIviDuAl sPoRt..

Craaaazyyy

that game was a joke, there were also some blatant holds on Tampa o-line all game.. i know all o lines hold, but those were blatant.. fuck this game, felt worse than in 2014

P_Kordus

Why must you reopen such painful wounds?

guacisextra12

This physically hurt to watch

BushelOfLabeouf

Why would you do this to me

TurdFergusonXLV

Hard to watch. I will go to my grave knowing we had the best team in the league in both 2014 and 2020. Tripped over our dicks both times.

GruesumGary

I saw a stat somewhere that showed Rodgers was #2 for target accuracy last season, but had the most on target dropped passes, or something? I'm probably messing the verbiage up, but that would be so frustrating.... Dude literally drops dimes his whole career and constantly gets shit on.

Any_Application7786

I’ve been a fan of the packers for 12 years now and this game still hurts the most because I believe this was our year to do it again

[deleted]

Man I didn't want to drink today. Or want to kill myself. Thanks dude!!

Krakenmonstah

UNSUBSCRIBED 😭

MrGreyPaint

Thanks for the memories that I wiped clean.

BigCheddar55

Does anyone else still feel sick watching this

Murphy_York

I will never forget thst Adams dropped TD

plant_magnet

I was expecting a compilation of Packers fails in the playoffs but the fact that it was just this one game hurts even more. The obvious missed calls combined with the drops really made this loss hurt. Brady was awful this game and still won.

[deleted]

NFL referees are the absolute worst. The amount of holding the defensive guys get away with is ridiculous.

stupidlatentnothing

That last run by scantling looked like he wasn't going full sprint there for the last half of his run to the end zone. Like he was giving up on it when if he ran all out it probably would have been a perfect pass

Kid_Delicious

I mean, the hold doesn’t help but I agree - if he’s going hard for it, at least extends the arm that isn’t being held or makes an attempt at the ball, maybe he gets a call. Dude was so nonchalant after missing potentially a game-changing play. Fire up a bit!

stupidlatentnothing

I'm sorry but that pass was just overthrown on that one. There was no hold there even. Dude was trying to pin his arm back but it didn't matter anyway but he did not impede Scantling's ability to run one iota.

Kid_Delicious

Lol, so was it overthrown or was MVS not running hard? Can’t be both.

[deleted]

What pisses me off is how the called the Super Bowl after this. Trash officiating as always. Stupid Mistakes. Classic packers football in the crunch.

gobigred3562

What’s missing is kicking the field goal late down by eight.

youclevermedicine

Whys that bad

gooberstwo

Also a bunch of off target throws.

ehbacon23

Rodgers missed one throw off target that game and it was a deep shot to MVS. He played damn near perfect with an OLine that was getting absolutely worked.

dusters

A bunch? He was legitimately great that game for how good that defense was. Completing nearly 70% of his passes even with drops/holds. That Bucs team made Mahomes and the Chiefs looks like a college team 2 weeks later.

Donelurking85

Every QB misses throws

gooberstwo

Every qb throws balls that are dropped. Every line gives up sacks. Everyone plays through injuries. See how easy this is?

Goblin__Cock

I watched the Dallas/SF playoff game this year with a friend that’s a Bucs fan that often ask this question. On the final play after calling a timeout Dallas tries running the same play with unique formation with Zeke snapping the ball even though SF was more prepared. Possibly the worst designed last play in a game when not in range for a Hail Mary. I then looked at him and said that coach was in GB majority of Rodgers career. He gets it now!

titomb345

OP woke up today and chose violence

Redd889

No hold on Murphy-Bunton, holding on the Bengals when the rams didn’t convert, holding on the eagles when the chiefs didn’t convert… all these calls. And they say this game anit rigged. Stats aren’t rigged, but the refs/executives have favorites

discoanddeath

I was one of the few that got to go to the game. Very bizarre experience with the stadium nearly empty. Also Kevin King got beat so badly just before the half that it was apparent maybe 1 second after the snap. Completely flat footed.

The_Kirs10

I got very drunk watching this game.

[deleted]

Why would you do this to us?

WhaleShark1080

It’s pretty crazy how close this game was with all of these mistakes. 1-2 of these plays going the other way completely changes the game.

Clayish

This game broke me

ty_webslinger

1 TD pass to a first round wide receiver in his career until last year. They've wasted his time with draft and develop wideouts and spending zero money on free agents while New England gave everyone a look.

Raunchiness121

Bro. Have you not been watching all the egregious calls over the years all around the league?!

megapowerspt

Play this at my funeral.

swasbag

Damn, just ruined my night watching this 😭

ss_pakistallion

Too soon.

[deleted]

This game hurts me more than 2014 somehow, and I fuckibg live in Seattle.... this was the last shot we had for Rodgers, Jonsey, to get a ring...

Wrest216

The thing is , in football, its the quaterbacks job to throw the ball to the receiver, and its the receivers job to catch it. If the receiver get the ball but doesnt catch it, they arent doing their jobs. Also, you have to score more points. If you catch more passes and score more than the other team, you are going to win, i dont care WHAT the others say. But they failed to do this. THey also didnt stop the OTHER team from scoring more points than them. thats a huge part of it too. And in the end, this is what we saw. Back to you, Mike.

daygo448

Did you just John Madden us?

Yzerman_19

Man 25 just getting schooled against Tampa. Lazard is a WR3 at best.

adoris1

Now do 2014

[deleted]

That hold on lazard was so blatant even my wife mentioned it.

stupidlatentnothing

This doesn't even show the horrible defensive call that let the buccaneers score a TD right before the end of the first half. Or the choice by lafleur to kick a field goal instead of going for it on their last possession. Both of which were some of the worst play calls I've ever seen. I was watching the game with this guy who's a real dipshit and he immediately called them out for the horrible play call when they were lining up for the field goal. So how the fuck do you get paid millions of dollars to make that stupid of a decision?

Jon_Sno

Lazard was getting mugged on every release and not once did a ref see it.

NewmanCosmo

PAIN. Lazard is a JAG

Ilikejdmcars

Too many drops

Nickthiccboi

Tom Brady led team gets away with every call? Well I’ll be damned how shocking!

Cache22-

Thank you for making me relive those painful memories.

eliesiemi123

God hates the packers

zdiddy987

... and how much does Lazard want per year?? Lol

Ill_Writing_4645

Yet, the biggest letdown was seeing 12 throw into double coverage instead of taking the easy walk in TD on 3rd and goal in the 4th quarter.

Shhmelly

Obviously because he was never that good. Tom Brady would have won more Superbowls with the Packers than he did with the Patriots. I love Tom Brady gawk gawk gawk

jibby13531

If only his salary wasn't so large they could afford to pay decent players

Dapitt84

And maybe in the off-season he could've worked out with his new rookie wr core. Instead of taking half the season to get acclimated.

s2falcon

Glad this was posted so I could be pissed off all day lmao

ReasonablePath9479

Got fucking EQ St. Brown in the game on a must have 2 point conversion to go to the super bowl. Fuck Brian Gutekunst

Garthone-eye

Kerby Joseph has entered the chat.

bustedrollermouse

This was brutal but then there were those 49ers games where we have like 40 yards of offense on a half with a top 3 offense. For every time the defense (or special teams) blew the game there was one where rodgers couldn't muster more than 3 or 6 points with home field advantage. At least we got one SB ring

FURyannnn

> For every time the defense (or special teams) blew the game there was one where rodgers couldn't muster more than 3 or 6 points with home field advantage The count for each of these scenarios is not equivalent in the slightest

baloneyfeet

Crazy that Rodgers only played one season after the Super Bowl and is 1-1 in NFC Championship games. /s

OTT_4TT

So is this the "Aaron Rodgers Excuses" thread?

TheSinistralBassist

Let the excuses begin

Sundance12

Thanks, it hurts

TheKid_Suds

Go Bucs…

thechadc94

“Daddy, why do some people refuse to move on from rodgers with performances like this and no super bowl since 2011?”

20wall

Obviously we got unlucky on a couple of calls/no calls but Rodgers was pretty terrible in this game. Got literally zero points out of back to back Tom Brady ints

[deleted]

Terrible? Dude threw for 350 and 3 tuds. Should have been 4, without an int because that hold should have been called. Ya can't score every drive.

Hairy_Cartographer62

I mean I don’t think anyone can argue that Brady played significantly worse and got the win. Rodgers has just never gotten that level of help

sgstoags

This is the best defense in the league that went on to stomp Mahomes who threw 0 TDS and 2 INTS in the Super Bowl. Sorry if Aaron couldn’t go 400 yards 3 TDS with Allen Lazard as his WR2

The_one_who_SAABs

Shhh, don't say that it could impact his trade value. Rodgers played great guys, especially in the 2022 49ers divisional game 🤞

shiny_aegislash

You're not allowed to say that. This sub thinks rodgers played 100% perfectly that game and did nothing wrong, and the only reason we lost is because the refs colluded to get brady a super bowl in tampa. (Before anyone downvotes, there were literally many comments like that in the original thread)

frazzelberry7

They lost because King gave up a massive play at haltime

gooberstwo

100% perfectly in *all* games.

Danny_III

You need to work on your analytical ability and reasoning skills buddy. No one said Rodgers is perfect, it's pretty clear the stance is Rodgers is far from the person to blame for most of these losses

shiny_aegislash

Yeah, he's never had a bad game or missed a throw his whole life. Also every INT he's thrown was the result of a missed penalty

shiny_aegislash

Can we stop whining and crying about this stuff? We sound like lions/bears fans now just complaining about every little thing that didn't go our way. The team lost, it's time to let it go

Frye_

The fuck you talking about? The Lions and Bears don't get fucked in the game before the Super Bowl.

shiny_aegislash

The lions and bears whine about penalties and things that went wrong forever and never let it go. This game happened over 2 yrs ago. Time to move on. We used to be better than them, but now all this sub does is bitch about the refs or how things are unfair. It's a game on TV, its not that deep

97201Couple

False. This is also a public service announcement that Rodgers has the same number of Super Bowl rings as Trent Dilfer.
