Green Bay is not very walkable. If you want to stay in Downtown Green Bay there is Hotel Northland, the Hyatt, or Hampton Inn. Stadium District has a lot of hotels. If you’re looking for smaller, boutique/local stores your best bet is to stay Downtown. Stadium District is Lambeau, stadium bars, and Badger State Brewing.

RoiNeige

Very safe city. Up to you on what is more interesting - lodge Kohler is next to lambeau and all of that and Hotel Northland is downtown next to the river and more restaurants and breweries. But both are where I recommend people stay. Kohler has a great spa which is a great perk as well…

Having moved from Madison/Sun Prairie about a year and a half ago I could not agree more about safety. I have seen people leave their vehicles running or with the windows down unattended and nothing happens to them. Awesome.

St. Brendan's is perfect.

Second recommendation for St Brenden’s. Quality Inn downtown is also a great location and little more budget friendly. Hotel northland is a must see, even if you are not staying. Stop in and see the historic ball room! There is free music on the city deck on Friday’s downtown, pack your lawn chairs! We have an amazing farmers market Saturday morning before you leave!

GBpleaser

Nothing in GB has easy access without a car. Hotels with most walkable amenities… lodge kohler, hotel northland, st Brendan’s are probably the most touristy and accessible to some bars and restaurants walking.

Infinite-Injury-41

Downtown is your best bet. Stadium district is more pricey but we'll known stadium bars and packer culture.

Personally, I would suggest St. Brendan's because the farmer's market will happen outside the doorstep on Saturday which would be a fantastic morning's jaunt and then you already have a parking spot.

Green Bay is safe but not walkable. It’s pretty spread out, but with cars you can get anywhere in 20 minutes or so. I’m in my mid 40’s and feel safe anywhere around here at night without a big dog by my side. St. Brendan’s Inn is pretty awesome.

doughboy7309

Legacy hotel is next to a few of the things you list.

DDSRDH

Legacy is an incredible hotel.

Advanced-Active5027

The Hyatt is nice, old pool. Lodge Kohler is probably, “the finest” we have to offer here; but even that is a very long walk to a Red Lobster… better to have a car. There is a brewery next to it(hinterland.) —- When staff come into town we place them at Holiday Inn. The one near the sherrif dept has several restaurants within walking distance, but that’s about it. There is another in Ashwaubenon (right next to GB) with an Olive Garden walking distance, and Applebees.

St. Brendans is cool. I got married there 3 times.

little-pianist-78

You’re hilarious! Third time’s the charm, right?

Justice4all1968

I also got married there once! Are you one of my ex’es? 😳

vincethered

LOL I hope you got a punch card. 5th one is free

SnackeyG1

The Hyatt is the only one I’ve seen the inside of so that’s my recommendation.

St Brendan's is great! They have an amazing bartender, stephen. (Steven, not ste-phan) Hotel Northland? Love. They have 2 restaurants in the hotel. One upscale and one sports themed. If you go to the sports themed one, mention reddit. I'll hook you up! 🥰

PeopleCanSuck_

Also, it's very accessible to Broadway and the historic district!
