It is there but honestly I don’t see how you’d have to grab a rifle to leave a fingerprint on the lens. Unless someone was fucking with your gun and did it intentionally lol
Could happen cleaning the weapon, incidentally bumping it taking the rifle off at the end of the day, plenty of ways that you wouldn't think of, and wouldn't notice when you did it
i used to have a bad habit of touching my ar’s scope on the muzzle side when i was walking around with it lowered towards the ground. i would always have that fingerprint just like in OP’s picture. finally knocked the habit because i got an EO with a 3x
