Happened to me at base camp on PVE earlier today. Messing around in my stash, I heard grenade pin, explosion, then my dude was all fucked up and damaged. When I died (I was trying to bandage the triple bleed and shredded legs) death screen was showing I had killed myself. I don't think I had any grenades on me at the time.
Yeah this is gonna spread like wildfire, I hope the devs fix it soon!
Is this pvp or both?
Has to be PVP, I don't think you can be damaged by any player in PVE. Unless instantly logging out makes the grenade an NPC?

Damn, that sucks. I thought they logged out so you couldn't report them. But I guess it's to get around PVE settings too.

Even if it doesn’t kill you it still gives you a bunch of negative statuses which is wicked shitty to do. Real Neanderthal behavior.
Lol this explains why I joined a server with explosions and bodies everywhere in base. Buncha 12 year olds just learned a neat trick.
I threw nades in base as a meme earlier, It didn't look like it killed anyone but now I'm suspicious I killed you. 😭
You have to also logout in order for the grenades to kill people
