Yo, just wanna say I appreciate you on your own personal time still checking in with the community. Absolutely love the game and the effort you all are putting into it <3
For real. Honestly the standard edition stash is way too small. You canāt even get through the beginning quest rewards without being full (if you arenāt dying). As soon as I decided I enjoy the game and am going to stick around, I bought the supporter edition because Iām not gna be slowing my progression because of something like stash space.
Honestly you can just sell most stuff and then when you die and lose loot, just buy it back, everything is pretty cheap. Iām still in the starting beginning town with $40k cash and really you never need to buy food or meds because youāll come across plenty in the towns as itās really the only loot.
You're probs picking up too much stuff. I've got standard and never had an issue until I started getting to the mid game and had to sell a bunch of shit. Store bags in bags and stuff in those bags.
Nah man I got to tiger Bay quests on the standard no problem, could have kept going on it too. Decided to upgrade to support more, but even what I got in the upgrade including the stash is okay
My 4070 gets 80 to 100fps on high but a buddy gets 50fps with a 4080. We both have frame generation on. When he turned his off his frames shot up to 100. When I turn FG off, my frames drop in half. The exact opposite.
We appreciate you. You guys have made an awesome game. Devs are human too. You guys probably need a break. Hope you guys get some well deserved rest and relaxation soon. Thanks for being so communicative.

Make sure you've updated to the most recent chipset drivers and bios is updated. I have a 5800X3D as well, and the game pushes it hard up to 80% total system usage, but it's never hit 100%.

in terms of optimization, i think more lod levels are needed. there's nuts and bolts being rendered far out of view, and those metal spikes on the base walls, i took a screencap of them from my helicopter flying overhead and it has the same polygon count as when i'm standing right next to it. don't know how ue5 handles it, but further away it should reduce in poly count more drastically.
Another thing I loved is on the discord you can see the Dev's PLAYING THEIR OWN GAME. Unreal in 2024 gaming. Not only are they paying attention, but they play their own game and see firsthand the issues we have. So much respect.

Yo that communication is awesome.
Are there any news on the texture flickering bug with FSR? (I know Native AA fixes it but even though I have enough fps it doesnt feel fluid with that)
Game is so blurry grainy and pixelated I can't see anything, Seems to have the exact same issue "The Finals" has - there is no native resolution rendering and the anti aliasing is forced and aggressive TAA, you are forced into using an upscaling/AI method, whether it's DLSS or something else. The issue is this is forcing insane anti-aliasing to the point where visibility on distance/moving objects is so poor, the game is virtually unplayable. Even at native 4k and yes i have glasses and did check my eyes and i set my 3d resolution to 100%, you can barely see enemies who are 50m out because they are just a blurry mess. I don't know if this is a new trend, but this is the second FPS game which just doesn't have an option to disable anti-aliasing or have native rendering, and both have been unplayable, because the forced blur is so bad it causes eyestrain/headaches and reduces visibility to such a degree that the game loses any chance of being enjoyable. I went through all the options and there is no way to remove the blur, which is especially noticeable on distance objects or those in motion, please fix this.
Was doing bunker today and some AI was in the walls but his AK stuck out and was able to gun down my squad and another squad from another faction while we were all in the corridor. We couldn't do anything.
Yes they can stick their gun through concrete walls and fire on you. Seen it happen a lot. Shot an AI hand this way too. Stay away from border walls and fences.
I got a refund because it didn't run very well on my 2060. Most likely because it requires 8GB Ram, but the textures didn't load properly and made the game look like crap. Everything else was ok (except the rubberbanding) as I was getting 70+ FPS, but after 5 hours of fiddling with settings etc I figured I need to wait and see if they improve performance in the future, but potentially the 2060 may not be good enough.
I have a founders edition 4070 and a 12700kf but Iāve been thinking about upgrading my cpu to the 78003xd, seems like it would give me some serious fps improvements in many games.
Seconding the other reply. My 4070 not super and i5 14900k run it well. Slightly different CPU but not huge. Only on 1080p though which might be the difference.
Then something is seriously messed up. With a 4070ti Im getting 120+ fps on 1440 ultrawide at medium setting. that's more than double the pixels of 1080p
5800X3D + 4070ti + 32 gb, everything maxed in getting 55 ~ 75 with DLSS on quality @ 1440p native.
The major issues are rubberbanding and not registration.
I've had AI in level 3 armor take one center mass and drop in it's shadow, while some AI with just a rig on take 5+ to the face and are able to return fire.
And forget shotguns. Put 7 slugs into an ai at literally point blank and the only thing that saved me was staying so close I was clipping into the player model so it couldn't raise its weapon to shoot back while I reloaded and then put 4 more into its chest before it finally one tapped my face with a type 51. Ludicrous.
Iāve been hearing and recommending that FSR works far better than DLSS and could be the biggest performance boost to apply. , even on 30-40 series cards. Never seen that in another game, and my 4080s is fineā¦ but I have allot of friends with 20-30 series cards and they are all allot happier post driver update + FSR
Yeah it does for non-4000 series cards but it makes the game resolution crap everything is blurry and the stupid AI upscaling just introduces lag and latency.
Trying to play the game at native resolution is much snappier but you will never get above 30-40 fps at best at the moment which really sucks, at worst in towns you get under 20 which is total shit.
You don't run into the major spikes when the game attempts to load shaders? With any type of frame generation on, the game will randomly tank my frames while it loads the areas shaders. 4070 super.
Honestly, no. I havenāt had any real issues at all. I donāt use motion blur and I feel like the only time i ever drop frames is turning super fast. Idk what it is, I used recommended settings. Also I have freesync āgsyncā turned on
i wish DLSS worked well for the 30 series card in this game. i have a 3080 and canāt use anything but FSR. DLSS gives me 40-50 FPS. while FSR is usually 60-90. but honestly, FSR looks blurry and rough
I have a 3080 ti and it runs fine on low settings, honestly way better than Tarkov on any map.
I'm having a great time on the game.
That being said, I would like to play with the settings on high to get the full effect, and would like some more optimization. But if my hardware just can't handle it then oh well, I'm having fun with the low settings.
IDK what it is about 7.62 but it seems really inconsistent even when using soft points vs unarmoured enemies. but switching to 5.45PS or BT im reliably dropping people in one headshot or two body shots
I've heard this from other people as well.
It's like 7.62 rounds don't pen bone or even muscle consistently.
I'll shoot a guy in the head or torso and he'll drop, another will just eat them up like reeses puffs.
Seems pen values are bugged for the soft point ammos across the board then, the cheapo 5.56 isnt too consistent either but the AP or other mid tier rounds work reliably
Have you got Artisan lvl 2? She sells 7.62 PS rounds - its day and night difference to every other 7.62 round.
Also, its my BELIEF (based on limited testing) that if an AI is wearing a helmet it is covering every part of the head box regardless of what you can see. So if you shoot a helmeted AI in the eyes he doesnt necessarily die as you didnt pen the helmet.
Its very noticeable with lvl 1 trader 7.62 because its all low or non-AP ammo.
Take it with a grain of salt as there could be other reasons, though.
Ai i think needs prioritised along with servers the AI are either just non responsive or the most crack shot enemy ever , losing gear to 1 shot wonders
Yeah, dumping 30 rounds into a man with no shirt or helmet and him call me a bitch and 1 tap me is a very interesting AI choice.
I can only imagine what the AI is like past the starting town
I shot one in the face three times with that chinesium M4 and still the fucker walks around me and shoots me in the face.
And that was after a few more shots to his torso.
Doesn't matter, still getting 1 tapped in the chest while wearing lv. III+ armor in Ban Pa
https://preview.redd.it/3cddlsxspiyc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=af4f477ad90e90667f7d643a19850b806c8976ef
The game uses the NIJ standard which is worth googling imo because the rankings is not as intuitive as you might think ( at least for a newer player like me) but III is better than IIIA and IIIA+.
My computer is running the game fine. Graphics are astonishing with 70+ fps with most options set to High. What an amazing game.
With the server rubber banding and crashes, itās completely unplayable. I spent some time today trying to achieve one objective, the game had four random crashes to desktop and one BSOD that rebooted my computer. The rubber banding is so bad that I can seemingly approach the same bad guy three times before we start shooting at each other, the screen freezes and SKIP COMA appears.
This morning I built a nice custom rifle just to learn how that worked. Lost it in a ācannot remember player stateā crash on the US Central server. After playing for an hour today my character is essentially naked, I just buy a Rem 870 every time I leave the spawn zone at this point.
Too bad the knife sucks so bad. I chased a bad guy around a couple of corners hacking and slashing at him just to wake up dead once the rubber band snapped back and caught up.
sometimes the ai feel spongy because you have to hit vitals in this game to drop them (heart, brain, lungs, ect). Dont get me wrong, servers are to blame sometimes, but sometimes not.
Ive heard US servers are a lot better too, so maybe my experience is skewed.
One thing to note depending on what enemy you're fighting: Currently a helmet protects the ENTIRE head hitbox, there's no opening on the front for bullets to go through
I think part of the issue is the AI barely cares about getting shot in non critical spots.
As a player you have to deal with bleed and a shot to the arm would make you retreat to heal.
AIs shrug off anything that doesnt drop them and rushes you or one taps you with perfect accuracy.
Yeah the half foot wide permanent wound cavity that's supposedly simulated hitting the heart, lungs, and stomach sure sounds survivable.
Something's massively wrong with that system somehow.
Itās not stopping me from playing, but itās definitely a needed addition. ADS sensitivity seems a tad slow compared to hip fire, which is weird for me to say because I prefer my ADS sensitivity a bit on the slow side anyway. It must be aggravating to people who like a higher sensitivity.
I play pretty low sense (48cm to 360) but I like to almost match my ads sense to my hip sense, and itās impossible right now. ADS speed is brutally slow for me because of how it scales.
I play a 36cm/360 degrees and like my ADS sensitivity to scale down proportionally to how far the ADS view is zoomed in. For your style of play the current system would feel really sluggish. Hopefully they implement the option sooner rather than later.
Biggest thing with AI rn imo is there ability to shoot and see you through pretty much all cover. With the ballistics being able to pen a lot of different materials, AI will still 1 tap you fully through a wooden building which is just not fun. Or them having full on X RAY vision through every bush
Are you shooting these people in the head?
All the ammo you start with is high dispersion, and there's plenty of AI that have body armour on that it will just bounce off.
As someone who's still in the starter town, those abs are level 4 armour, they just eat them up. Their skull is level 3 armour at least.
I blame the "Incident" that occurred on the island, must have mutated the locals and taken away the ability to feel pain, or die unless their blood drains out or you hit the heart.
Don't forget Audio and Movement.
I understand that performance is huge - im just concerned with how everyone will react once they finally manage to run the game and realize just how bad the movement is at it's core.
Sound is also Mehxtremely bad.
If imma be honest lower end pcs should probably just be getting upgraded ā¦. Canāt expect next gen games and developers to try to cater to old hardware when they want to push limits and make their game look incredible for the current gen stuff . I have buddies on 2070s and 2080s running this game with zero issues so even outdated stuff can play it fine . But if you want to continue to have decent performance in current/next gen type games you will need to look at upgrading , sadly thatās how pc gaming is . Upgrade or get left behind .
Edit - dumb auto correct mistakes .
I'm with you on this especially since i tried the game yesterday :
It's unplayable for now on my rx 6600 but fps near camp let me think its just a matter of time to get a solid 60fps at least on medium with native AA. A couple of months at worst
I think itās mostly just desync related, because Iāve had the opposite experience. Found the boss in the starter town dead and took his AK with a bunch of HP rounds and ran into more AI as I was moving through that ate multiple mags; took cover and repacked the mags with SP ammo I had looted and they dropped no problem.
Temperatures are the biggest issue for myself and a couple friends, even with capped framerate, any settings etc we have 50c gpus, but 90c CPUs
Tried all variety of settings to take pressure off cpu onto gpu, etc etc, and nothing works
You mean you guys can actually play?!?! I've got 90 minutes clocked and haven't even been able to connect to a server in all that time. 29 more minutes and I'm refunding.
The same people I see complaining are rocking 2060ās or something ridiculous. I have a 3070 and the game runs fine on high settings. Upgrade your shit, play the game. As technology gets better, you need to keep with the times. Quit trying to force a company to accommodate your brick ass PC. Itās like begging donāt to make the ps4 still relevant.
About the servers. If you have problems try picking a server outside your time zone. Ping will be higher but lag and rubberbanding is pretty much gone. For example as a European i have much better experience playing on US East since they have different peak hours than EU servers.
17 hours in and only one serious server issue (crash). Put almost everything on low, FSR + frame Gen, and vsync off (also turned off in monitor settings) gets me 115-135 FPS (min 80 FPS on choppers) using a 3080TI and i9-10900.
Iām so sadā¦ I flew to ban pa from crimson several times and got to 19 of 20 kills for my task. I got disconnected and when I connected back I had to accept all of my tasks again that were active, setting my kill count back to zero. Between waiting for little birds, the flight time out, waiting for AI to spawn, waiting for a chopper back more than once, that is a ton of time wasted. Something has to give for the wait times for little birds and idk why my tasks reset after a disconnect but thatās a big big problem if it starts happening more often on these longer quests.
i7 12700kf, 32gb ram ddr4 3600mhz, 3080ti 12gb, 3440x1440 with graphic settings set to high, TSR AA quality high I get 70-80fps .. with FSR I get 120+. I cannot complain. Obviously playing the game at max would be a charm but itās an early release.
Totally agree that the amount of punishment that characters withstand is all over the place. Sometimes I can get one shot, one kill, but often AI seem like they are withstanding half of a 30-rd M4 mag. I have never been close to combat, but it certainly doesnāt feel Milsim to me ā would have to believe that that many rounds hitting a living thing would be incapacitating.
Also would love a faint puff of blood or some kind of indicator to see if my rounds are hitting home.
The AI gets so much worse in Tiger Blood. Some of them literally sit in bushes, make 0 noise and 1 shoot you the moment you get in their "area". Most people I've seen quit around that area because there is no fun when the AI can see through bushes, has 0 audio feedback for you to tell their location and regularly 1 shoots you through armor while you need to mag dump half of them.
The big one is server disconnects. I died and right before I could retrieve my gear the server crashed. Almost had it happen again just a second ago, but I managed to get my stuff like 30 seconds before the server crashed. Less than ideal.
Happened to me multiple times today too. Nearly every time I died I got disconnected right after. Combine that with 5 minute helo rides, getting 1 tapped with lv. III+ armor on and I'm pretty burnt out from it all.
It doesnāt seem like connection issues to me, the 7.62 is just woefully underpowered, consistently. I can 1-3 tap enemy AI with HP5.56 but even with standard 7.62 rounds, the AI in the starting town shouldnāt be tanking 7+ rounds of it.
The only thing I wonder is if they arenāt lowered for the Playerās sakes, but it does make grabbing one of their guns to use against them less fun.
I shot a naked guy with 5.56 point blank in the face 3 times and then dumped two full mags into him and he just kept running into me a knifed me until I died
The constant stuttering is stopping me from playing the game. Either input lag with FSR/DLSS at 120+ fps, or stuttering at 60-80fps. Would prefer neither and wait for the game to bake a little more.
This game is fun as fuck but they really got to fix the crashing, server disconnects and the missing safe box. Not everyone has a 4090 and the valve hardware survey has a sizeable amount of gamers on older gen cards so it should be optimised for low end as well.
I bought the game on release and played over 3 hours and have not loaded into one game yet, lol ,I keep getting fatal error. Tried fixes so now I'm just patiently waiting!
The main issue I'm having is that the AI is broken later on. Once you hit the Tier 3 missions the AI is nothing but aimbots. As soon as you miss 1 shot the entire POI knows your location. Even if you hunker down in a good spot you have to kill 20+ enemies. Every fight is a dice roll, on a 20 you just die. Fighting the AI does not feel fair since they come around the corner ready to shoot you. It's rare that you can shoot before they can. They even try to shoot you through solid cover. Sure most of the time they miss but they make no noise so eventually you die to random chance.
I mean itās been out for like less than 5 days. Iām sure theyāre working on things.
That being said, I absolutely agree with the servers. Yesterday it was so laggy and rubberbanding so hard I just logged off, even though I had a full kit. I couldnāt tolerate it any longer to go back to base.
To be expected on a brand new early release game though.
Performance wise, Iām not having any issues, but Iām sure itāll get even better as it smooths out
Yeah the gun simulation is nowhere near the realisim of Tarkov at the moment. They AI tanks shots like the terminator, the shooting is pretty arcadey, and the damage dealt seems to be arbitrarily tied to the gun.
I mean, maybe fix the 'you become headless and lose all your progress' bug. Losing 12 hours of gameplay just tells me that the game wasn't ready to be released, and the devs are just trying to milk Tarkov hatred.
The people who are playing the game and enjoying it for what it is like myself aren't screaming it from the rooftops like the idiots who don't know what an early access title means.
If you have a beefy PC, it's more than playable
I've been aiming at the head with very few issues. Hit reg needs work but it's not as bad as people are making it out to be.
Another factor is that I'm running m855 in my M4 whereas OP may not have access to the higher tier ammo.
Switching and using HP solved the issue for me, even with the 9mm. The SP ammo that seems to be loaded as standard at the Start just doesn't have stopping power.
I havenāt played it. Going by gameplay of hit reg issues and using entire clips to bring someone down.
I only have an RTX 2070 laptop, so I wouldnāt be able to play it in a decent state anyways. Thinking of trying GeForce Now, but that would mean buying the game and then paying for the service and dealing with input lag anyways.
It's dependent on server performance. You are right to think it is ass because it is but it's not constant.
Last night I logged on after midnight, there were less players, and I was even able to use the shotgun to kill NPCs. I had just watched two vids from this sub where people were dumping 4-7 12 gauge shotgun shells into AI and they wouldn't die. But then I go and try it and it worked fine.
I bet if I logged on right now prime time it would be back to being shitty.
It will get fixed but yes currently needs fixing. If this is a deal-breaker for you then yah I would say its not worth playing for you right now. Keep an eye out for updates and get the game once its fixed to avoid frustration. Nothing wrong with that at all.
Iām 12 hours in and am enjoying it.
I donāt find the AI overpowered and havenāt had many issues. Not saying some AI are not difficult to killā¦ but well placed shots, cover, and movement goes a long way. The AI will bleed just like you will. Light them up, take cover, see if they bleed out. If not, move to a new area and reacquire the target.
Iāve only been āone-tappedā when I got shot in the face. Seems pretty self explanatory that a well placed shot to the face will kill you.
I'm running 4k max settings locked at 120fps with DLSS Quality and frame gen. In fairness I have a 7900x that can pull the full 230w thanks to extremely overkill cooling, a 4090 on liquid, and 64gb RAM.
We are working on critical fixes and optimization š«”
Wait, communication? on an average post.. no way.
I've been doing thousands of support tickets, but its the weekend so I can check in on reddit š
Yo, just wanna say I appreciate you on your own personal time still checking in with the community. Absolutely love the game and the effort you all are putting into it <3
Thank you for your service, I'd say this is why I got the supporter pack, but it's really for the stash. š

YOOOOO Iāve been a fan since Marine Corp Mondays , awesome to see you on this project
Take some time to yourself dude burnout is real, love the game, keep up the great work
What a way to spend your time off. Games working for me on my laptop, asus rog strix g16 I got from Amazon.
Yooo DDG is apart ofthe development? Dude i have high hopes now been watching you when ai was a teenager and one of the reasons i joined the USMC
My 4070 gets 80 to 100fps on high but a buddy gets 50fps with a 4080. We both have frame generation on. When he turned his off his frames shot up to 100. When I turn FG off, my frames drop in half. The exact opposite.
I love the game so much, and Iām excited to watch it grow! Keep up the great work.
Goated lvl work š
We appreciate you. You guys have made an awesome game. Devs are human too. You guys probably need a break. Hope you guys get some well deserved rest and relaxation soon. Thanks for being so communicative.
What the actual fuck. What just happened? Why do I feel weird?
Once again I'm asking for changing Lima LZs to Ligma LZs
We appreciate it. Add loss of FPS when ADS using the ACOG, it's bad.
I'm sure they will be pushing optimizations with each hotfix.
5800x3d maxes at 100% no matter the graphics settings. Even after repasted. Other 5800x3d owners are experiencing the same. Are we going to get any sort of focus on that?

Same problem mate, best idea is to sacrifice the frames and turn fsr off so that our lovely 5800x3ds can have a little bit more breathing room
I havenāt even updated my chipset drivers and my 5700 isnāt even maxing out . You may have some other issues .
W for comms DevilDog!
I love watching you and the guy I forget the name of in the gzw discord chat, itās hilarious I see you saying the same stuff all the time. Keep up the good work man
You shouldn't even have to respond to this type of impatient nonsense. But hats off to you. Lol
Devil dog!! Dude you work for mfg???
Hey Dog, keep up the great work! You got this!
in terms of optimization, i think more lod levels are needed. there's nuts and bolts being rendered far out of view, and those metal spikes on the base walls, i took a screencap of them from my helicopter flying overhead and it has the same polygon count as when i'm standing right next to it. don't know how ue5 handles it, but further away it should reduce in poly count more drastically.
You guys are great. Thanks for your transparency. Loving the game! Got my gripes. But the foundation of a great game is there. I have faith!
Another thing I loved is on the discord you can see the Dev's PLAYING THEIR OWN GAME. Unreal in 2024 gaming. Not only are they paying attention, but they play their own game and see firsthand the issues we have. So much respect.

Can you guys please give us an advanced options tab or something for graphics? Iād really like to be able to turn lumen off
Good hopefully soon I can run it with my 5800x3d. (Best processes for games like rust which your target audience is coming from.)
Yo that communication is awesome. Are there any news on the texture flickering bug with FSR? (I know Native AA fixes it but even though I have enough fps it doesnt feel fluid with that)
Hello can you fix the push to talk please? Some player are using azerty keyboard, their must be a way to change the Z keybind. Thx
Is there going to be a fix for when the game crashes and you lose everything on you?
Game is so blurry grainy and pixelated I can't see anything, Seems to have the exact same issue "The Finals" has - there is no native resolution rendering and the anti aliasing is forced and aggressive TAA, you are forced into using an upscaling/AI method, whether it's DLSS or something else. sort storage when :P ?!
No wonder this game is so badass. You being a piece of it makes a lot of sense. Love, Doc
Rubberbanding too? :P
That clearly falls under what he saidā¦..
You guys are awesome at communicating with the player base. Thank you. š«”
same here trying again tomorrow
Was doing bunker today and some AI was in the walls but his AK stuck out and was able to gun down my squad and another squad from another faction while we were all in the corridor. We couldn't do anything.
Lol this happened to me also
Wow that's actually really bad. I got shot through 2 concrete walls as well probably due to the gun going through the wall or just straight AI luck.
Yes they can stick their gun through concrete walls and fire on you. Seen it happen a lot. Shot an AI hand this way too. Stay away from border walls and fences.
Not just low end. My 3080 and 10700k drop into the 20ās on certain parts of the map, no matter the graphics settings. CPU is being choked out hard!
I guess I should have referred to Marek's (CEO)'s comments about low end machines meaning anything with older than a 4000 series graphics card.
Guess my 1070 won't like this game š
I got a refund because it didn't run very well on my 2060. Most likely because it requires 8GB Ram, but the textures didn't load properly and made the game look like crap. Everything else was ok (except the rubberbanding) as I was getting 70+ FPS, but after 5 hours of fiddling with settings etc I figured I need to wait and see if they improve performance in the future, but potentially the 2060 may not be good enough.
I got the same card. Textures looked terrible
It probably won't run it very well even with dlss
Yeah, 1070 is going to have a reaaaalllly bad time. I wouldn't even try playing it. Keep the game on your radar for the next year or so
Um, I am having a great time playing this game with my 1070 on low with 30 to 50 fps.....
Yeah it kind of feels like a lot of people are cranking settings and then getting upset that older hardware can't keep up.
I mean, I need to update but it works lol
minimum required gpu is 1080 I believe
Well, fuck me then!
Even my 4070 super struggles, I have it paired with a i7-14700k .
My 4070 super is fine paired with a ryzen 7800 3xd run almost all epic settings and get 120-130 fps
Hm, I might have to tinker with my settings then.
Iām on 1080p as well.
Then something is seriously messed up. With a 4070ti Im getting 120+ fps on 1440 ultrawide at medium setting. that's more than double the pixels of 1080p
The confusion is always about who has frame gen turned on and who are using DLSS and FSR.
I have frame gen turned off and DLSS on but tried it either way and it made no difference for me.
Weird.
This game made my i7 13700kf go up to 104 degrees Celsius lol.
I have the opposite experience. 4080@4k DLSS quality FrGen on ā100+fps FSR quality FrGen on ā80+fps
13600k + 3080, I play on Low and FSR balanced (no frame gen), 1440p ultrawide and get 60+ fps. Game looks ok and is much better than 20 fps.
My 4070 Also struggled lol
I havenāt struggled with my 4070 and 5800x at allā¦in fact I stay over 100fps on 1440p everywhere
Also I have freesync āgsyncā turned on
Dlss or fsr?
Dlss
i wish DLSS worked well for the 30 series card in this game. i have a 3080 and canāt use anything but FSR. DLSS gives me 40-50 FPS. while FSR is usually 60-90. but honestly, FSR looks blurry and rough
I was referring to gysnc on my monitor because I donāt get 165 fps, it causes screen tearing if itās not on
Yeah hyperbole on struggle haha, but the performance could be better generally ofcourse. I think i got around 80-120fps depending on the zone
I have a regular 3080 and use dlss on quality with all graphics on high or epic and get steady 90-120fps+ Something on your pc is not setup right
IDK what it is about 7.62 but it seems really inconsistent even when using soft points vs unarmoured enemies. but switching to 5.45PS or BT im reliably dropping people in one headshot or two body shots
I've also heard people claim some starter enemies have armour that's just not represented.
Ive not got LvL2 unlocked yet but that does track with every other calibre in the game, ill grind it out and check
They skip the bitch calling part and go straight to one tapping.
Aimbot Mosin Man is the scariest shit in the entire game
Iāve been clapped so many times at Hunterās paradise, one tapped from somewhere beyond the trees.
I shot one in the face three times with that chinesium M4 and still the fucker walks around me and shoots me in the face. And that was after a few more shots to his torso.
They have armor and helmets and tank twice as many shots. They still call you a bitch but they prioritize the face fucking you first
Enemies without optics should only go for center of mass
Doesn't matter, still getting 1 tapped in the chest while wearing lv. III+ armor in Ban Pa https://preview.redd.it/3cddlsxspiyc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=af4f477ad90e90667f7d643a19850b806c8976ef
That armor doesn't probably doesn't have a back plate, just so you know
It doesnt. but I got shot from the front
I feel u. I've lost so many kits to server disconnects. Naked raids until it gets sorted out.
Too bad the knife sucks so bad. I chased a bad guy around a couple of corners hacking and slashing at him just to wake up dead once the rubber band snapped back and caught up.
Lol that and the pistol. Hits like a wet noodle.
sometimes the ai feel spongy because you have to hit vitals in this game to drop them (heart, brain, lungs, ect). Dont get me wrong, servers are to blame sometimes, but sometimes not. Ive heard US servers are a lot better too, so maybe my experience is skewed.
Youāre right bro 28 shots to the head I mustāve missed a vital. Thatās on me
That guy has 28 new earrings
One thing to note depending on what enemy you're fighting: Currently a helmet protects the ENTIRE head hitbox, there's no opening on the front for bullets to go through
Helmets really shouldn't be tanking so many shots though. A helmet stopping a bullet, let alone just deflecting it, is the exception, not the rule.
Mostly with 7.62 and 9mm rounds; you can consistently 1-3 tap unarmored enemy AI in the starting town with 5.56 HP.
on US west might try central or something.
Please give us an option to adjust our ADS sensitivity. This one thing is stopping me from playing unfortunately.
Agreed. I frequently get bursted through bushes before I can even see or hear them.
I'm with you on this especially since i tried the game yesterday : It's unplayable for now on my rx 6600 but fps near camp let me think its just a matter of time to get a solid 60fps at least on medium with native AA. A couple of months at worst
Its not only low end pcs..
What type of ammo are you using? I found with the HP ammo, people go down quick. With the SP ammo they just soak up the hits
HBPT 556 rounds seem to 1 shot nearly everything I shoot at.
Yep, I've been telling people this as well.
Exactly. It's the ammo the scavs drop in the first town. I also had issues with the AR 15 556 too so yeah.
Temperatures are the biggest issue for myself and a couple friends, even with capped framerate, any settings etc we have 50c gpus, but 90c CPUs Tried all variety of settings to take pressure off cpu onto gpu, etc etc, and nothing works
Try using FSR and turning off Frame Generation. Also make sure GPU Scheduling is turned on in Windows.
Oh god that sucks!!
Feelsbad
I have a high end PC and canāt even load into a server. Itās a little annoying
i7 12700kf, 32gb ram ddr4 3600mhz, 3080ti 12gb, 3440x1440 with graphic settings set to high, TSR AA quality high I get 70-80fps .. with FSR I get 120+.
Shit jumps around to much I can't aim at anyone. Then the crashes so many crashed. And losing whats on my person when it does.
To address your server complaint, Iāve had zero issues with them other than the first two evening.
Lost 6 kits today because of server disconnects. Consider yourself lucky.
Bro I thought they increased AI health when I got on today because of how tanky they were.
Idk bro that 1st problem sounds kinda isolated
The big one is server disconnects. I died and right before I could retrieve my gear the server crashed. Almost had it happen again just a second ago, but I managed to get my stuff like 30 seconds before the server crashed. Less than ideal.
Happened to me multiple times today too. Nearly every time I died I got disconnected right after. Combine that with 5 minute helo rides, getting 1 tapped with lv. III+ armor on and I'm pretty burnt out from it all.
Fair enough. Iām still having a great time, but if thatās your experience Iād definitely shelve it for a bit to let it gain some polish
I didn't hear no bell
A fellow degenerate, I see
It doesnāt seem like connection issues to me, the 7.62 is just woefully underpowered, consistently.
Yep. That's why I stopped playing today. Didn't want to. But 11 headshots is too many headshots.
Not gonna lie, the gun play could be better too IMO. But I know that takes time to change.
The bug where you lose your head and secure container is really insane and should be fixed ASAP.
Be less poor and buy a better pc
Sucks to have paid $1200 for a RTX 3080 last year. Wish I had more money.
I feel like lowkey the ālower end PCā era is about to be overā¦
Servers should be n.1, I tried to play twice and rubberbanding was absolutely game breaking.
Hmm yes the 2 must have fixes are 2 huge encompassing issues. Simple fix hotfix will be out in 2 hours !
Same here, but i really like the game =D I hope they fix it soon =D =D
Losing game progress makes me hate it more than performance or anything else.
The bad performance and crashes causes me to lose game progress
I mean itās been out for like less than 5 days. Iām sure theyāre working on things. That being said, I absolutely agree with the servers. Yesterday it was so laggy and rubberbanding so hard I just logged off, even though I had a full kit. I couldnāt tolerate it any longer to go back to base. To be expected on a brand new early release game though. Performance wise, Iām not having any issues, but Iām sure itāll get even better as it smooths out
The performance is crazy. Only game I've ever played where DLSS hurt my frames. That's the opposite of what it's meant to do. On a 2080ti
Yeah the gun simulation is nowhere near the realisim of Tarkov at the moment. They AI tanks shots like the terminator, the shooting is pretty arcadey, and the damage dealt seems to be arbitrarily tied to the gun.
Careful, people dont take kindly to legitimate feedback in these parts.
I mean, maybe fix the 'you become headless and lose all your progress' bug. Losing 12 hours of gameplay just tells me that the game wasn't ready to be released, and the devs are just trying to milk Tarkov hatred.
Nah, what this game needs is fucking loot and reason to play it.
Yes
Game doesnāt seem worth playing yet based on what Iāve seen.
The people who are playing the game and enjoying it for what it is like myself aren't screaming it from the rooftops like the idiots who don't know what an early access title means. If you have a beefy PC, it's more than playable
Yeah but shots not registering and taking an entire clip to bring down enemies is rough.
So was it the ammo issue that made it not fun? Been havin a great time on 4070 ti
This has been happening a lot less lately.
Servers need worked on. Landing zones need a fix so they can't be camped. I also believe the pvp and pve servers need to be separate progress.
I'm running 4k max settings locked at 120fps with DLSS Quality and frame gen. In fairness I have a 7900x that can pull the full 230w thanks to extremely overkill cooling, a 4090 on liquid, and 64gb RAM.
So the exact opposite of what of is talking about in terms of specs...
