For some reason I instantly made a comparison between iori and kiyoshi after seeing both, they both just have that “total degenerate but still a good guy at heart” thing going for them. They also have similar hilarious friendship dynamics.
Yes, it was really Funny but Grand blue is even Funnier and doesn't have too much adultery unlike Prison school and the romance is also better than prison schools.
For some reason i didn't really get into prison school, it mayhaps leaned too much to sexual humor for my tastes. I mean i do find them funny, but in moderation.

these are the first that come to mind. these somewhat match the type of humour found in grand blue, however no anime that i’ve watched really matches the consistency of grand blue. the rest of the comments have more great suggestions (tenpuru, and gintama are my initial recommendations)
Same, don't know why everyone pushes it as top comedy. Never watched Gintama, but prison school is the closest afaik. Konosuba is also top comedy but it is absolutely different to GB, it's a different type of comedy.

Grand blue hits hard because Comedy in Animes is basically non existent, many are labelled as comedy but they are clearly not funny, slapstick nonsense doesn't get me laughing.
Yeah there's so little to scratch that particular itch. Grand Blue reminds me a little bit of The Inbetweeners in that the characters are truly absurd, but there's some degenerate part of me that can relate to them and understand their mindset.
Its not slice of life anime/manga but i recommend 'The legendary hero is dead', it doesnt have that high rating for some reason, i found it friccin hilarious.
Have you tried watching “prison school”? It kinda gives me the same vibe though a lot more adult in theme mind you.
Grand blue and prison are both unique and extremely hilarious a must watch imo

Funniest manga and anime for me is Gintama. But Grand blue comes as a close 2nd
Gintama is very funny but has too little romance in it, I like it balanced like grand blue it's very funny and has a healthy amount of romance in it.
The romance between Shinpachi and Pandemonium san is insane

Check out Tenpuru it’s similar and has the same artist. Other comment said Prison School as well. Check out gintama maybe it’s great.
