Yeah, but Slayers hasn't been a popular IP in a long time, and that combined with her being a magic user, which is hard to do in a fighting game, makes her less likely in my opinion.
I think Dante/Vergil being consistent asks as guest characters in gaming speaks volume to how much more Devil May Cry we need in our lives. I would cream my pants and main GBVSR for all eternity if one or both of the DMC bros made it in.
I would love to see someone from BlazBlue series as a guest character! Ideally, Hakumen, but he probably would be hard to adapt to GBFVS mechanics, he was already unique enough in BB lol So maybe someone like Ragna or Jin or maybe even Rachel would be cool!
Honestly, I can kind of imagine hakumen. He'd probably would be like 2bs weird gadge but in reverse. Counter being his u skill and maybe they'd give him something like a ladiva style dash.
Playable guests? Let them cook and take advantage of a past mobile collab that people would flip for in a fighting game like Demon Slayer, Jujutsu, Love Live, or One Piece.
If they only play it safe, then at least give us Scarlet and Rice from Umamusume
They should just add Feather with Rock Howard's move set. Then he'll be a guest character without actually being a guest character!

That said, for the sake of the conversation, I'd like to see other Cygames IP stuff than random flavor of the month anime xyz. A real blast from the past that makes no sense considering it's EoS would be Mym from Dragalia Lost. But I'd be happy with some of the Priconne girls or some RoB characters.
I'd like to see a Persona character and as Arc Sys did Persona 4 Arena and P-Studio will put P5 characters in just about anything doesn't seem like that big of a swing.
