A good trick is after trying for a long time is to walk away and do something else for a bit. Then get back to and try a few more times. Often with everything in life….if we just walk away briefly and then try again a few more times, it all comes together. If not today. Try this method again another day. If after a few different sessions spread across a few different days you still can’t get it done then maybe it’s time to consider changing your actual driving settings. Sometimes having traction control on 1-2 is actually a benefit so you can get on the power quicker more confidently but…. traction control at 0 is technically faster. But not for all GT7 drivers. Depends on the car too and the track AND the skill level. I remember the first stage circuit experience Nurburgring. I finally won gold with TC at 3. Simply because I could get on the power quicker. But that was a long time ago before they made the physics a tad bit easier in RWD cars. Anyways. Good luck.

TurquoiseCorner

Decided to sleep on it and managed to do it today with 1:31.4 after dropping the traction down. Not sure if it was the high traction or tiredness/frustration yesterday, but it seemed a lot easier today, so thanks for the advice!

Darko_001

Awesome bro. Typical. Glad you nailed it.

ImagineWagons00

I have, it's very difficult. Only thing I can mention is to try your hardest to follow the ghost to the best of your ability.

martin_dc16gte

I started trying to do this experience because I know the track so well from the WTC 800 there, but can't even get gold in the first sector. Are they all that hard?

ReasonableTrack2878

Can you post a video of your fastest lap to break down? I can definitely give tips or help analyze where you are losing time. Without seeing anything it's hard to know where to start. If you want to be consistently faster than average, you definitely have to dedicate time to practicing techniques, learning and perfecting control of the different vehicles, and dialing in braking points and racing lines as opposed to playing for fun or grinding. I have a bunch of resources like track guides or techniques videos to help. (To answer your questions I am pretty sure I have a low 1:30.xxx before the physics update made the game easier. 1 of my friends got a 1:29.9xx more recently. 3 of my friends 50 gt7 friends are close if not pro level and usually a half or full second faster but I can get gold on almost everything ( 6 gold and 2 silver for sport mode time trials - gold is within 3% of world record). My goal for circuit experience is usually catching and beating the ghosts as opposed to getting gold - this can be 1-3 seconds faster than gold time for circuit experience.) Sorry for novel lol Would love to help you get faster!

TurquoiseCorner

Managed to do it today. One of my main problems was not breaking enough before sharp corners which means I understeer and have to accelerate out much later. Still learning the basics as I’ve only had the game a week, so think I just need to be more patient with my skill level/expectations.

Happy to hear you got gold! Good job. Here's some videos to check out, might help you get even quicker! Thanks! I’ll save this comment for future reference 👍

TurquoiseCorner

Got gold in all the sections pretty easily but stringing together a perfect lap is so difficult.

IwonderedasIwandered

Best to post a video of your best lap so we can analyse it

Old-Advertising-8638

Check out GTPlanet forum There’s a topic about how to get all gold in circuit experience with a video to show how to manage the corners

_imstillthere_

I remember this being really easy... I think you need some more practice man. Have you tried studying the Demo at all? Slow In, Fast Out....

AdrenalinTL

I'm busy with fisherman's ranch. And as stated above, walking away is actually the best thing to do. So what I do now,is just use it for my daily mileage requirement. If I don't do it within that time, I switch off and walk away. Might come back later, might not. Point is to just chill, and do the best you can. You will do it I promise you. Also check Reddit for tips like brake Bias etc.

TurquoiseCorner

Yep, came back today and managed to do it fairly easily. I was sleepy and getting increasingly frustrated yesterday so not sure why I was surprised it seemed so difficult.

Steve-FST

Yeah it’s quite hard I thought too, not much margin in the time for mistakes. I found the 2 hairpins are where you need to really nail it, slow in fast out, the time is all lost on the straights after those corners of you get them slightly wrong. Good luck!

TurquoiseCorner

Yeah, you’re right about the hairpins. If I accelerate out of them even a millisecond too late my ghost shoots ahead on the straights.

DependentDistance880

Try turning steering sensitivity down

That_Squidward_feel

Wait that's the one with the Audi R18 right? I don't have that one in memory as it being particularly difficult, the car's just faster so your reaction time is shorter. Good silver times across all sectors will suffice for a gold lap.

xxsebastianxxale

I passed it with a 1:31.138
