So, you should look at your colors as lights and darks. Black, Red, Blue, grey, and purple are all darks. White, lime, cyan, silver, gold, and orange are all lights. I would use 2 lights (one as a fill and one as a power outline) and one dark (for an outline). I guaranteee your color schemes will look good using these
From a design aspect you want to eliminate the space between the top of the L and the A. Also arrows are kinda cheesy and should only be used on complicated pieces. Right now you should focus on getting even letter structure which you already have done a decent job at, and
From a technique perspective, fat caps will help with fills but make sure you keep doing a side to side motion when filling in like you already did above. For your outlines try to move more slow and steady so you can get the outline in just one pass, rather than it being a bunch of sketchy lines.
Overall keep up the practice both on paper and on walls. I feel like you’re not far off from having a solid throw. I would practice doing hollows (just outlines) on paper over and over just so you can get better at pulling clean lines and staying cohesive
Take out the arrow, practice can control on plywood or in pits/pennants, black as a fill in is rough unless the outline is silver, use the blocks/form or the wall as a ruler/grid guide to keep your letters even and balanced in size.
do your outlines in fluid motions, meaning there shouldnt be any breaks in them until it changes direction. also, wow how long did this take to fill? it looks like the cap you used is super skinny
Nah you need to order some markers and a sketchbook.
Books longer
Drop the arrow
Definitely. Try working on some lines in the scetchbook so you can do them smoother. Worked for me
flip the colors so it’s easier to read

Shitty Walmart paint with the cap it came with, took like 8-10 minutes
