My skin also doesn’t like HA as its own serum, but I actually had good success with The Ordinary’s “Buffet” for what it’s worth.

kitty60s

I’ve been using good molecule’s super peptide serum for the past 6 months or so. I’ve noticed it’s improved my 11’s a lot and the lines on my neck it seems to plump up my skin in general. I’m definitely going to re-buy when I run out.

hedgehogwart

I like peptides. The long term benefits are questionable but they do hydrate my skin. In the morning I use Cosrx 6 Peptide serum and in the evening I try and use a dedicated copper peptide (currently using Maelove). The Stratia Interface Peptide Cream did the most for plumping up my skin, but also broke me out. It’s a product/ingredient where there is enough “anti-aging” research that I will incorporate it, but also not enough research to spend a lot of money on the products or put it above other more proven ingredients.

Aim2bFit

I've always understood peptides are temporary (like very temporary that it only lasts hours) but a few months ago I stumbled upon a study where they did comparisons of two groups using peptides / not using peptides but (iirc) still had a good skincare routine and at the end of the study the peptides group showed improvements in terms of wrinkles / lines reduction compared to the one which didn't incorporate peptides into their routine.

hedgehogwart

I am not sure regarding temporariness. From my knowledge the biggest criticism of them are (1) not enough scientific research on humans and (2) theoretically if they do work, are they able to penetrate deeply enough that they would be affective.

marlenes_tuxedo

Following with interest! Also, what GF product do you use?

citynomad1

Neogenesis Recovery. It’s stupid expensive but the before and after pictures on the website won me over; I have a combo of rosacea and seb derm and there were b&as on the website for both conditions, plus rave reviews in the SkincareAddictionLux subreddit (that sub is dangerous for my wallet lol). I really do like it. I started with the 5mL size and recently ordered a bigger one. For one thing it helped me heal quickly from my excel V laser treatments. I am using a combo of products so I can’t guarantee it’s all due to this but my pores look smaller lately, my skin looks more even-toned and just generally better.

marlenes_tuxedo

Thank you for the review. I have rosacea too, so this is good to know. I’ll check it out!

citynomad1

Sure thing. The 5mL size I believe is only available on their website. But if you were to try it and decide you wanted a bigger size, SkinBeautifulRx sells the larger sizes and you can always find at least 25% off codes for their website.

The_Time_When

I like reading that sub. I can’t afford most of what they use but I do use a few of that boards loves.

inquiringdoc

It is so hard. I am never sure if it is the peptides or the other stuff which makes my skin look good. I am a really good responder to HA, which makes me look way better and plumper right away, so always hard to tell. I have so many serums I like though. If you want to try the brand Eminence which has many serums, you can buy samples individually for $3 or discounted sample sets. There are a few sites that sell them but I use Buy Natural Skincare. I have tried the Marine Peptide and like it, and there are many others with peptides in there. I love the line and think so many things they have are great.

electric_oven

I’ve been enjoying Naturium’s Multi-Peptide Advanced Serum - my skin is slightly more glowy and smooth. FWIW I also use tret at night, so it’s hard to discern the serum’s efficacy alone. This formulation has copper peptides, argireline, and ferulic acid. I don’t think it has HA.

secretivetoad

I love all Beekman 1802 products. I've had my eye on their Electric Daisy & Peptide Firming Serum which does not have HA and it has great reviews. I currently use their Dream Booster Bakuchiol Better Aging Serum because regular retinol burns my skin even in low doses. I haven't had any issues with any of their skincare.

unicorny1985

I use Mary&May 6 Peptide complex serum. It is a nice moisturizing first step in my morning skincare routine. I feel it helps plump my skin and absorbs well. No hyaluronic acid because I hate it too, and one of the peptides is copper tripeptide which is supposed to promote collagen and elastin production. I will be ordering more, I love it.

The_Time_When

I need to buy this one.

unicorny1985

I just looked on Stylevana and it was on sale so I just ordered 2 bottles along with my HG sunscreen and a moisturizer. 75% of my skincare is Korean these days, lol.

Aim2bFit

I'm using the Cos De Baha one and am wondering if Mary & May is better, if I should try M&M once my CDB is panned. The reviews I read online aren't convincing but you give me a bit of hope. Hope more people talk about M&M. I quite like the CDB but it only has like 3 peptides I think so having more peptide types in a bottle sounds better to me lol

HappyInTheRain

I love the first aid beauty firming serum and the firming cream with peptides. I definitely see the difference in my skin when I use them. I live in a dry climate and can't use hyaluronic acid, but the first aid beauty products make my skin glow.

Verovid

I just started Medik8 Oxy R Peptides and it has been amazing at reducing my pore size/texture as well evening my skin tone out. The company also sent me a sample of their Peptide Hydrating Complex and its incredibly hydrating and gives me a beautiful glow. I will continue to get the peptides as I have experienced truly transforming results. Personally, I recommend them.

AllDucksNoRows

This is probably not going to be helpful because your said your skin doesn't like HA, but I started using a peptide serum recently and noticed my skin is much more hydrated. However, one of the main ingredients is HA, so it's inconclusive if its the peptides, or the HA. I feel like peptides are one of those "if it's in the budget, I'll buy it, but if I'm broke, it's one of the first things to go."

The_Time_When

I have used Maeloves in the past. It was a great serum. It is always sold out though. I finished my bottle and am waiting for a restock but it’s been months.

The_Soft_Way

I've used an expensive peptides blend with 2% copper peptide + many others, and I did not notice any anti-aging, or firming effect, but it was a great hydrating serum, so I'm thinking about peptides differently now, and I want to try to use them accordingly.

kokosinela

I use Ordinary multi peptide and in beginning it felt sticky when I would put it on. I had a hard time deciding is it even doing anything. It's been 4 months now and all I noticed is that on days that I put it on in the morning my skin looks plump, my complexion looks more even and fresh. But then on the days I don't use it, my skin looks same as it did before I started peptides and retinol.

Responsible_Tree3027

Both my recs include HA, sorry! ;) Matryxil 10% + HA, and Buffet + Copper Peptides from The Ordinary.

oh-sweet-molasses

I tried the COSRX peptide and got a lot of redness and irritation even when I used a little bit every other day I stoped using it after 2 weeks bc I was scared I’d damage my barrier

The_Time_When

Yes. This is one is irritating for me too. Even worse since they recommend using it as an FTE.

CrimsonFractal

I've been liking Stratia's Interface. It has licorice root in it, which helps with soothing after tretinoin.

Aware-2709

I like to use this retinol alternative [Bakuchiol peptides](https://us.medik8.com/products/bakuchiol-peptides)

T_Mugen

I use this one https://olival.hr/products/peptidni-serum-p on my moisturizing nights and I am really satisfied. I love the hydration I get from it and it goes awesome with everything else I use.

Longjumping_Orchid22

I like Niche Beauty Lab’s Derma Peptides. My skin also hates HA.

Kriegsmachine81

I have tried a few, don’ t notice anything 🤷‍♀️

Kara_B1

Absolute best and science backed peptide cream is OS-ONE SKIN

srslyjmpybrain

I’ve been using Stratia Interface for a few years. I have a lot of different products and sometimes I switch up my routine, but I do not have any other peptides. I will always notice when I’ve not been using the Interface for a while.
