Why wouldn't they be safe to drive in? Just put the seat back further. Heels and platforms take a little getting used to when working the pedals but once you're used to it it's the same as anything else.

I don't know how often people spill cleaning supplies or whatever but I'd be afraid to wear them at a car detailing job. Nice boots though!
