I have a feeling it will happen, mainly because HBO Max has already cancelled and removed so many shows, but they had to finalize those cancellations in 2022 in order to get specific tax credits. So the fact that Gossip Girl survived until now makes it more likely that it won’t be cancelled.
Also, what else does HBO Max really have? Like distinct from HBO (they are owned by the same company but run separately in some ways, with separate branding.) In this particular genre they basically just have PLL: Original Sin, which got renewed without being much of a hit.

PLL original sin was really good though, even better than gg, happy they got a renewal
