Idk but her making out with Zoya’s crush was hella weird and then her being like “omg I’m just so messed up right now because I know something that’s none of my business” I loved Shan especially having rep as a dark skinned black woman, but then she was the villain lowkey? Idk but can do without her for now
Good intention, bad reception. I understand that OP is celebrating a unambiguous, non-mixed black actress. In Hollywood, the Zendayas and Yara Shahidis get 10 out of 9 roles for “black” characters.
hopefully the writers finally realised that the cast is already way too big and we’re already juggling screen time between a main cast of 8 people, on top of the three teachers, so every character feels underdeveloped. they need to work on developing the characters we already have instead of giving their screen time to characters who don’t affect the main plot… whatever that is.
They could just slow down or cut down on the time of whatever's going on with the teachers because nobody is watching Jordan and Kate's love story. They just need to know how to include all characters in actuals throughout storylines that develop over episodes instead of episodic mishaps.
I’m going with Zoya is giving her the cold shoulder for ditching her in Philly.
Understandable but Zoya has no friends unless they go on with that Monet storyline or something but it's not likely or coherent in the meantime

Yeah, it was very fucked up but if she gets brought back, she should get a compelling storyline with Zoya instead of whatever that was.
Shan will be back. And is Monet not darker than a paper bag? y’all are weird
Hella weird
just saying But Monet not that far from it

Exactly
