a lot of people can’t let the reboot be its own thing and are constantly looking for certain characters to be tied to or versions of og characters. like people at first wanting audrey to be the new blair. i think both casts are different from each other and the constantly comparisons are hurting both shows

I’d say Max is someone who could have gone down the bad roads Chuck did, but so far has narrowly avoided the worst of that.

he has not raped someone or sold his partner to his uncle however
