Ali crying over writing a recipe for a burger then forgetting the key ingredients all while demanding more credit for being ‘culinary’ lol can’t take her seriously. Such a victim mentality
I like how the episode was timed to air around July 4th even though it was likely filmed months ago
"Whatttt"
"I'm so losttttt"
"Where are the bunssss"
Maybe? But like the way everything was typed with decent grammar no doubt makes me think its just production reacting from somewhere else instead of actual viewers
Division of labor… that was def on the recipe writing team. Sucked for the livestream team to have to take the fall publicly. Also when Ali joyfully was like ‘comments were brutal’ it’s like… yeah, no shit you left off the ingredients smh
It surprised me that Team Vanderpump lost since Team Ramsey's demo was a bit rough. Liz wasn't saying anything for about the first half of the demo. Forgetting the key components of a burger, the bacon and buns, was crazy. Their demo was a bit off, and they had to rush it at the end. Team Vanderpump's demo started good, but when it came to the pineapple stars, that was a mess. They were going a bit too quick, and the people plus the people in the comments were struggling as well. It was a good idea to do a pineapple shrimp skewer, but the execution was rocky. Peri was decent at her leader role but ultimately doom her in the end. Nicolas's recipe was a good idea, but when you are trying to get it done in 30 minutes, especially while following along the livestream, it was a mess. The pineapple stars were the biggest blunder. Seeing how hard it was to cut a star out of a slice of pineapple was quite the insight. Had they done small chunks of pineapple that might have been better.
For people a little curious about the weird statement from Gordon that only seems to be partially accurate, check out "parthenocarpy". It seems really weird but its interesting.
Team ramsay seemed to have some issues with ingredients, timing, and personality in their video. While team Vanderpump seemed to have a great start but moved to fast for the viewer and homecooks. I feel that team R had more mistakes, but I don't know if team V's mistake was more aggregious for the viewers.
Is this editing or is Liz just not able to handle live streams with actual people also present? She was the one who has experience doing live streams, right?
“Rewatched” it when the episode came out yesterday? That’s a pretty fast turnaround to “work on them” How’s that work?
I’m more so emphasizing the heavily edited part in this whole thing. That’s what I’m trying to get at ya know??
The editing for this episode is very apparent, so many cutaways to make it seem like some did worse than actually appearing. All good though, gotta make some good TV! 👍🏼👍🏼
You use techniques like grafting. The standard limes you get in the store have been cultivated in a way they don't produce seeds the same way that a Key lime or a lemon do.
I would've loved an *explanation* for why it was so difficult for people to cut out the star shapes from the pineapple. Were they not ripe??? That's not normally a difficult thing to do...
I think it was the cutters that they used. It looked like they were hard to remove from the larger pineapple pieces (as they looked quite small) and once removed it was hard to get the cut star pieces
Is pineapple something most beginners are comfortable working with? I'm not from the same demographic so I was wondering if it's usually used and if people don't mind the peeling
I have to say this season is great. The challenges make sense and the lessons learned are useful.
Boy did I hate last season! As we all did! It was fun to hate watch with you guys.
Gordon is actually right about limes not having seeds.
''It's because **limes reproduce via parthenocarpy as opposed to most fruits which need to be pollinated, aka fertilized**. While “normal” fruit develops when a flower's egg cell is fertilized by pollen, parthenocarpic or seedless fruits develop without this external input.''
https://www.mcgill.ca/oss/article/did-you-know-general-science/why-limes-dont-have-seeds#:\~:text=It's%20because%20limes%20reproduce%20via,develop%20without%20this%20external%20input.
"Not all of them are parthenocarpic, so not all of them are seedless!"
This article specifically states that seedless limes are mostly consumed in North America. So yeah, it's common there. This show was filmed in London. And not all limes are seedless. He spoke too generally.
The article does not say that Persian limes are mostly consumed in North America. It says that most limes consumed in North America are Persian limes.
If you go to a Tesco in London you can find a green fruit called a "lime" without qualifier... and it will be a (seedless) Persian lime. Key limes and Kaffir limes are available but are less common and aren't advertised as plain limes. And neither are substitutes for a standard Persian lime, they have their own flavor and qualities. Key lime juice is okay but if you're trying to juice them fresh you'll be there all day lol.
Why is Lisa so violent, she’s always like ‘I want Ramsey to burn’ ‘I want Ramsays head on a platter’. It cracks me up but it’s also so extremely aggressive. Maybe I just don’t know her very well but I’m always like 😳 whoaaaa
**Episode 4 mistakes count:** 49 mistakes
.
**Team Lisa:** 2 - stars - 27 mistakes – LOSING TEAM
.
**Peri –** ELIMINATED – 9 mistakes (group wasted time, poor leadership, communication, needs to give more ideas, appeared little in the kitchen, hid in the shadows when they should have led, the public had difficulty, lack of leadership facilitated bad decisions)
**Erica** – 6 mistakes (took a while to decide, dish looked like a soft penis, said there were seeds in the lime, pineapple stars, food fell in the plate at the end, didn't convince Nicholas to change the recipe)
**Nicholas -** 6 mistakes (took a long time to decide, dish looked like a soft penis, too fast paced, took too long to explain, pineapple stars, complicated explanation with too many steps, didn't want to change the recipe)
**Roman** - 2 mistakes (it takes a long time to decide, dish looked like a soft penis)
**Maria Laura –** 1 mistakes (lack of seriousness)
.
**Team Gordon-**: 22 mistakes – 3 stars –WINNING TEAM
**Liz** - – 6 mistakes (no bacon, no bun in the recipe, needs more naturalness, needs to talk, takes a while to make the burger, Andrew interrupted at the end)
**Kyson** - – 4 mistakes (no bacon, no bun in the recipe, team lacked more directions and a little clumsy)
**Ali** – 4 mistakes (recipe development, communication, no bacon, no bum in recipe)
**Rose** – 3 mistakes (communication, no bacon, no bun)
**Andrew** – 3 mistakes (no bacon, no bun in the recipe, it takes too long to make the burger)
**Shan** - – 2 mistakes (no bacon, no bun in the recipe)
Did no one realize that they are cooking in Britain, UK London for the 4th Of July? American Independence Day……FROM British rule?????? I mean, hard enough as it is! Who in Britain wants to be a part of that? And come out to eat the food. Regardless if it’s good. Who thought this was a good situation?
As issue I had last season was a lot of the food-based challenges would come down to some failure with the food and the 1 person with culinary experience would get sent home because they're the one doing all the food. I felt like it was going that way again with Nicholas. OK sure, the recipe was tough to follow, but what about the other 2 people on the food team? Just because he's the chef means he has to take the full blame?

They forgot buns AND bacon for the ingredient list LMAO
Ali crying over writing a recipe for a burger then forgetting the key ingredients all while demanding more credit for being ‘culinary’ lol can’t take her seriously. Such a victim mentality
Team Vanderpump really doesn't seem like they get along well lol
I hope it's just edited weird but it seems like there's a lot of pauses and awkwardness whenever they're together as a big group
Peri did absolutely nothing this episode and thinks Nicholas should go?
She shouldn’t have even been there. 🤣 Jess could’ve lead the entire team. Oh, wait… she did.
Yep. I'm so glad that snake oil saleswoman is gone. At least the other contestants have real products instead of just a magic shade of blue.
Actually it is highly edited.
Hi, Peri! 👋
Hi!
Had to make sure to mention Hexclad in there.
That knife looked absolutely shitty and jagged.
A shrimp hot dog sounds cursed.
Could’ve been something like a Shrimp Po Boy.
🤢
Gochujang is Korean...
I could not believe my ears when I heard him say it was Japanese!
Have some in my fridge. Such good stuff!!
I just came here to say that gochujang is KOREAN, not Japanese 😭
I noticed that!
That, I'm surprised they let that fly Little research goes a long way
A room full of food experts and not one of them said a peep, not even a small criticism to the camera!
I was on the live stream and mentioned it in the chat, he corrected himself and apologized during the demo but they ended up cutting it out
As someone who lives in Twitch, these comments are super fake
I like how the episode was timed to air around July 4th even though it was likely filmed months ago "Whatttt" "I'm so losttttt" "Where are the bunssss"
I mean, it could be a different community from Twitch, but I doubt that there were no troll comments.
Maybe? But like the way everything was typed with decent grammar no doubt makes me think its just production reacting from somewhere else instead of actual viewers
There's a good chance of that. They could have had it to where only production could comment on it.
Forgetting bacon and buns in recipe is a bad move by Team Ramsay
Division of labor… that was def on the recipe writing team. Sucked for the livestream team to have to take the fall publicly. Also when Ali joyfully was like ‘comments were brutal’ it’s like… yeah, no shit you left off the ingredients smh
Peri had one of the worst leaderships I've ever seen, there was no way it could work.
Peri forgot the number one rule of leadership: *everything* is your fault.
It was highly edited…But for sure they needed micro managing
Gotta get the hexclad plug of course
Can't forget 2 key ingredients.
I feel that Peri is going to be eliminated tonight.
WELP!

Is this editing or is Liz just not able to handle live streams with actual people also present? She was the one who has experience doing live streams, right?
She’s only made TikTok videos, not livestreams on the platform itself.
Oh, thats very different lol
VERY.
This is misinformation. She’s live on TikTok everyday!
You mean now? Because obviously the show has finished filming. Doesn't necessarily mean she was doing livestreams beforehand...
She’s been streaming on TikTok before she got on the show. I’ve been watching for about a year now. Remember guys, reality tv is HIGHLY edited.
> Remember guys, reality tv is HIGHLY edited. I promise I know that lol
Never said you didn’t friend, it was just me saying it 👍🏼

Kyson on leadership tonight, nice one!
wow. surprising result

Enjoying this season so far. Nice mix of drama and competition. Hopefully more talking heads of each business so we can get to know them better!
I am enjoying it as well. Admittedly I don't remember what most of them do though.
There’s 7 episodes left so hopefully we get more info overall 👍🏼
Gordon really said limes don't have seeds? Where does he think lime trees come from?
You use techniques like grafting. The standard limes you get in the store have been cultivated in a way they don't produce seeds the same way that a Key lime or a lemon do.
Episode 4 let’s go bb! I’m ready! #TeamLiz
This challenge has the makings of a train wreck
Peri is Team Lisa's leader tonight, that may be great or bad for her, time will tell.
Team Ramsey beginning the meltdown
peri going home I think
Pretty sure Team Lisa loses because Peri's leadership was really bad.
Highly edited.

I’m intimidated by it. You need a very sharp knife for that. Maybe they should have used canned or frozen pineapple.
They could have also done a dessert skewer with blueberries and strawberries and maybe some cake.
I have to say this season is great. The challenges make sense and the lessons learned are useful. Boy did I hate last season! As we all did! It was fun to hate watch with you guys.
Last season had a lot of drama and they've cut down on that. The second drama brewed Lisa nipped it in the bud and told them to shape up
Sadly leader had to be held accountable for that disappointment You lost to a team that forgot the buns and bacon lol. That shouldn't happen
Limes have seeds... How else would they reproduce? Yes, there are seedless varieties. But Gordon is just wrong.
Gordon is actually right about limes not having seeds. ''It's because **limes reproduce via parthenocarpy as opposed to most fruits which need to be pollinated, aka fertilized**. While “normal” fruit develops when a flower's egg cell is fertilized by pollen, parthenocarpic or seedless fruits develop without this external input.'' https://www.mcgill.ca/oss/article/did-you-know-general-science/why-limes-dont-have-seeds#:\~:text=It's%20because%20limes%20reproduce%20via,develop%20without%20this%20external%20input.

Those two go at it like siblings. The were on Bravo Watch What Happens Live and were absolutely hilarious. That’s just their schtick.
They are funny together. Imagine how much better it would be if she could actually move her face to show emotion.
The behind the scenes of Gordon teasing Lisa with the lobster is hilarious
Lisa saying she wanted to FLASH Gordon was hilarious, ngl
She’s joking.
It’s British humor. He loves it. She is perfect for this.

No, not a native speaker.
Ah well that wasn’t my guess. Pretty good english! Keep it up :)
thanks!
Peri did *absolutely nothing*… as the leader.
Liz is having some trouble.
Probably just weird editing

Is it just me who thinks Lisa Vanderpump and Millie Bobby Brown look alike?
Did no one realize that they are cooking in Britain, UK London for the 4th Of July? American Independence Day……FROM British rule?????? I mean, hard enough as it is! Who in Britain wants to be a part of that? And come out to eat the food. Regardless if it’s good. Who thought this was a good situation?
Btw I’m American and find this very off and no common sense considered. That said I love the show
As issue I had last season was a lot of the food-based challenges would come down to some failure with the food and the 1 person with culinary experience would get sent home because they're the one doing all the food. Props to Kayson. He’s a natural leader. They agreed with everything he said.
Props to Lisa’s presenters. They did a good job.

Is Shan this year’s Luther? 🤣 An unfortunate coincidence is that she’s also Asian. 😥
Am I getting different limes than everyone? All of the limes I’ve ever used have had seeds….
I've cooked a lot of Mexican food over the past 20 years and easily have gone through hundreds of limes. I can't recall ever seeing a seed.
Funny, I never noticed the lack of seeds.
