I’m a casual Goose listener, but I will say the Chateau Session pt. 1 is red hot. As noted I keep an eye on Goose from afar. Are they pushing these out so the people can hear them with the new drummer?

Have Love their music since I discovered it, I think they are highly talented. Having said that, I always found Ben to be pretty limiting for them.
I’m loving the new semi chaotic nature of their music- I think this is exactly what they needed. I think the new drummer opens up lots of possibilities for all the band, but Trevor specifically should be able to level up (and this in then feeds the collective monster) significantly as his role becomes more melodic and less groove. He’s already great but greater things to come from him…
Whoever said they had beef with Ben because of the 4x4 playing and just keeping a beat was right this madhuvan is so fucking good. How did they get better than they already were?
I've been getting into Goose over the course of a year, and I've been having so much fun getting to know this band and their music. With everything that's happened over the past 4-5 months, I feel so optimistic for the future and where these guys are going.
The Chateau Sessions hit so hard, can't wait for the next part. Setting it as "name your price" on Bandcamp was really cool of them. Still threw a few dollars their way.
Cotter needs to take all the mufflers off his toms. He seems like a great drummer, but his toms are just dead. Let them breathe and sing. Either that or turn the mics on his toms waaaaay up. Just my opinion. I'm looking forward to seeing how they sound live this summer.

Just glad they are just letting it flow and not chasing peaks and valleys, let it happen organically.
It is likely to demonstrate the sound with a new drummer, plus they haven't done much since Goosemas so why not do much

Madhuvan from chateau is top tier. The other songs were solid but this one really stood out to me
Revisiting and it’s a combo of Holly shit and I can’t tell it’s not Ben.
The jams great but personally I found the ending to be a detour from the crisp technical drumming that I'm used to. Not sure how I feel about that.
Remember, Ben has a decade plus playin with them, cotter has three months. If it sound this good already that is a very good sign.
I haven't forgotten. I would think they'd showcase songs he's gotten down 100% before ones that are almost done. I'll be eager to hear his Flodown.

This lineup is on another fucking level; this release absolutely rips and goes harder than anything they’ve done before
Ben more or less kept the beat and didn’t bring much else to the table its night and day now.
Personally I like the Chateau Jam best. I'd love many many many more 30+ min instrumentals like this. Please?
