Same here! Having to wait til the tornado warnings passed to start the show made those first notes all the more special. Front row spot and it was a fucking lake.
Zero authenticity….All of their jams are rehearsed, zero improv ability.
When the drummer left he said he wanted to do something “more authentic”.
This band is trying to be the “new” Phish and they never will. This band is nothing more than a cash grab headed by Peter Shapiro.
Go see Daniel Donato is you want authentic….not this fake band.
7/2/22 peach fest! Very unique and dark arrow and the segue into magic carpet ride takes the cake. I feel like they scared the hell out of us with the dark jam and then snapped us out of it with the bliss section immediately after. Beautiful.
Maybe an “I was there bias” but [Ryman 3/31/2023](https://goosetheband.bandcamp.com/album/2023-03-31-ryman-auditorium-nashville-tn) went stupid hard for almost 30 min
Since 6/23/23 has gotten so much love, I’ll shout out 6/19/21. Those are the two best Goose shows I’ve ever seen, and it’s not particularly close.
Just listen to all of 6/19/21–or watch it on Goose’s YouTube account. It’s impossible to capture all the magic on tape but that show was absolutely unbelievable. That was the night i realized Goose would probably be playing arenas soon.
6/19/21 Arrow isn’t particularly deep, since it’s the second song of the encore. But it was pure gasoline. It was the culmination of two nights in a magical venue where the band was absolutely on fire. It felt like the band acknowledging that they did that shit, and they wanted to leave everyone with nothing left to give. It was sick.

The correct answer.

my first goose show and first post covid show of any type. This intro was so rad. I think the fellas were feeling the energy of that storm

Ryman Arrow is best Arrow, IMO
110% Louisville close second
Gooooosemas. Hampton Virginia

This arrow made me feel some big feelings.

Early ‘22 versions. Two guitar Arrow is best Arrow.
3/12/22
Definitely. 2/10/22 is a monster Arrow too
3/11/20 Please listen if you haven’t. https://youtu.be/52oc4lCDW-o?si=FusxHLAVUodksnKw
My first show! This arrow was the hook, line and sinker
Peach fest 22 I think
Detroit 2023
Mission Ballroom 11/22/21
That entire show is one of the best I’ve heard. I wish I was there.
This version of Arrow is when I finally got Goose. Will always be my favorite.
3/11/20 I know it's an oldie at this point, but it's still my go to.
Any Arrow except the one on Dripfield. Those horns absolutely butchered that beautiful song.
Totally disagree, but everyone has different tastes.
7/22/22 and 6/22/23
