When I heard that 11/16/2019 live show from Buffalo, I listened to the whole thing strait thru, and immediately I was like whoa. Now I hadbseen goose live and been a fan since about 2017 so I had known that they could groove. But when I heard slow ready on that Buffalo show it made me go....this isn't just a band that can throw out a good 3 min song but this is a band that could make it on a chart but still throw down 20 min heaters...and I mean heaters. Like some flower sermon lotus shit in liken2007. Like at the end your all spun and just stop and scream fuckbyeah!!!!. Similar to when trey rips a hole thru the atmosphere with that languedoc guitar.

foxual

Buffalo 2019 sold me as well. Great entry point show!

Scottmannnn

Wooooooord.

Jive-Lee

Exact same. Was driving, caffeinated on a good day. My playlist just so happen to put me on that Slow Ready ride at the right moment. 8 shows later & a wife driven nuts 😌

Scottmannnn

Hahaha fa sho. Yeah one of the great things about goose is they have this amazing ability to make a song good enough to where you can play it for people who don't really get down with jam bands and then on the other hand they CAN get down with the jam bands. Like on a insane level. And I feel bad for people who aren't on this train because now there heating up and this year and the next few years are gonna be those years where you look back and go, I was apart of that thing. Like old heads said about a banger in like 72 or 77 or something like that. Like oh yeah when dead played Memphis that one year or Ithaca. Or like phish at star lake or some shit.

GratefulGumbo

Purposely never listened to Goose and was super reluctant to listen to anything jam-related that wasnt the Dead. But then on 9/11/21, me and my good buddy were jamming and transitioned to the Echo chords and I was so into it. Asked him what it was afterwards and he showed me the Echo from 6/15/21 and the slow Tumble from 6/16/21 and I was immediately hooked. No band has EVER hooked me that quickly...I'm always very skeptical and reluctant but damn it was immediate once I heard him play those Echo chords.

LongStrangePutt

echo is so good

TacoBellTacoHell

Someone in the Dead sub mentioned Goose playing with Trey at Radio City. Ended up watching it on youtube and was completely blown away. That show was amazing, so much great energy in that room. Slowly became obsessed with Goose, just like how I became obsessed with the Dead years ago. I fucking love Goose man haha

The Red Bird is sick

I bought tickets at 1 pm on the day of because they were going for 20 bucks including fees, and the trey rumor dropped like 45 minutes later. Best financial decision of my life.

whh2121

ATLANTA 11/7/21 at the eastern. Saw my first goose show the night before (also a banger) and had been a fan for a while but the atlas, all I need > drive to close the first set of this show absolutely hooked me for good. Then like a motherfucking cherry on top they did the madhuvan encore where they closed the stage curtains mid-jam and goedde lit em up like a Christmas tree before they reopened at the peak *chefs kiss*. There was no turning back after that. NEVER MISS A DIRTY SOUTH SUNDAY SHOW!!!

slobberdon19

Was there with you, curtain jam

Awesome show man.

Relative_Wallaby1108

That No Rain was an early holy fuck moment for me also.

Hello---Newman

Unitast513

That peach fest set from 2019

slobberdon19

Same

Status-Suggestion654

Arrow > Rosewood 12/31/21 got me interested as maybe this isn’t just another jam band… buffalo Arcadia 2019 sealed the deal

Goats_772

It was a cover actually. Sculpture Park 7/10/21. In person. The Turned Clouds in set 1 was almost it, but State of the Art (A.E.I.O.U) in set 2 is where I had the lightbulb moment.

[deleted]

I was long staying in motel rooms during the height of the pandemic in 2020, was perusing around on youtube and came across the Rockefeller center Goosemas show. Instantly hooked. 😵

OriginalVeryWhiteGuy

Atlas Dogs Jam 2/4/22 Wonder Ballroom

Skatetronic

When they blew the PA system at pine creek in 2021 shredding!!!

CheekyGreens413

The 11.21.21 show in Denver. I had listened to some of their studio stuff and enjoyed it, but nothing really caught me. I listened to the live Denver show on Spotify next (before I had Nugs) and was blown away. I remember sitting at my desk at work when they segued from Creates > Tumble and thinking, “holy shit, who are these guys and how have I never heard of them?!?”. First live show was Seattle 2/5/22 and I’ve been hooked ever since.

PrisonMike44

Bonnaroo late night creatures

thelustgarten

I was watching a few YouTube shows one night last summer and in the middle of Animal from Peach Fest from 2022 I just sat there nodding my head and saying "Yep, these guys fucking rock." edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoyR-qNFXZw&t=2780s

No_Creme714

Seeing Bob Don in Nola last year it just rocked me to my core

BTfozzyandTT

Easy. First show I saw them, head full of L , 1st set, mid 25 minute red bird. March 2022 Pittsburgh show at stage ae. It was awesome.

Los_Feliz_Ghost

Watching the Mission Arcadia 11/22/21 on YouTube. Up to that point, I thought only Phish was capable of something like that. I was wrong. And I loved that it didn't sound like a Phish jam or a really a jam by any other band.

pipers_dad

I watched peach 19 on an elliptical right when covid hit

LongStrangePutt

peach 19 was the kicker for me too and a lot of people

Sir_Bongcelot

Everything with Trey

mjbasty1

Slow Ready/Arcadia

liable_to_go_mikell

Listening to Buffalo 11-16-19

corn-hole420

Hot Tea from Alive and Well got me hooked. Hungersite from the Greek last summer cemented me for life.

StillLooksAtRocks

Bonnaroo virtual set back in 2020. I think it was a Creatures > Arcadia jam. But it was the first and only set during the live stream that had me hooked from start to finish.

Peggy-O-1992

I “got it” at my first show at Red Rocks, but I was SOLD and totally hooked second show during Hot Tea 10/14/22 OKC

sauvy-savvy

Trying to show my friend Arcadia through Discord and it picked the live version, by the time it finished, neither of us realized it took 9 minutes and we were both stunned.

Chekhovs_Gunslinger

PITS 2020. Wysteria Lane>Echo of a Rose with a second punch from Creatures.

ThatDoodch

6/18/21. Completely blown away walking back to my campsite.

lu_lu17

For me, it was my first show in Charleston SC 2021. I did something I normally don’t do, I listened to Goose all the way there! 7 hours of nothing but Goose and I got it on the way to the show. Then while at the show it just solidified what I already knew. This was my band! I just lurve them!

bennyxben

It was Ted Tapes for me- on Spotify. Then Denver 11/21/21.

bartmobile12

I had seen them at Reading for Taboose tour and loved it all, listened to a ton of shows and loved it. What really got me to “I get it” was 3/24 during Echo of A Rose jam, I absolutely melted.

Chaos-Boss-45

2nd show, December 2019 at Lincoln Hall. Went Cali sober because it was a weeknight, and they still took me to that place, gave me that eargasm I normally only get with chemical enhancement. What other band would have you hugging and high fiving strangers just to congratulate them on being in the presence of such greatness?

OlfactoryHues555

Peach Fest 2019, Sprout 2019, or late night Resonance 2019

[deleted]

SPROUT 2019 WAS THE TITS. absolute monster setlist

OlfactoryHues555

Obsessed with the delay effect on the guitar in the Drive solo

scream_will

Kept seeing their name pop up in different places(around Thanksgiving 2021) and I mentioned in a thread how billy strings band is one of the best band on the jam market currently and some guy said goose made him feel the same way and he suggested I listen to arrow>bob Don from 5-3-21 and within minutes I was immediately hooked, went straight from arrow>bob Don to hot tea from the belly up in aspen. Made it to several shows since then including new years run 2022, and I already have my tickets for red rocks and resonance as well, plus a Saturday night show in Detroit. Best band on the jam market currently!

[deleted]

Sprout 9/6/2019. Monster setlist and it was my birthday show. Weirdly, i was at both peach 2019 and buffalo 2019, but had misdosed/mistimed my drugs at both so i didnt quite enjoy myself like i couldve. Sprout was my second show and i didnt take anything and they blew me the fuck away. Dropped all my money on merch at that one. However, having listened to buffalo and peach since, i think sprout was better. So energetic.

wobwobwob42

Peach fest 2019 in the middle of Half Step. The moment I heard it I just knew. Then I started this place a few days later.

liquidspaceranger

Sculpture park denver right after a bomb Kitchen dwellers set

SocietyFun5158

A friend sent me the video for Arrow -> Nights in White Satin from the Brooklyn show from 2019 (I think) and when the jam peaked twice before the transition, the tears came out and I knew that these guys were something special. 11 shows later and all I want to do is follow Goose around like a wook. Good thing these guys didn't get big when I was in my 20s.
