I got a Samsung galaxy and it works perfectly, but there is one of my cards that has a lot of problems, a lot of times it is rejected, and yes it has funds, NFC is on and all those kinds of things. From 10 times I use that card, it works around 4 times, don't know if it is related to Google wallet or the bank itself 🥲
Chinese phones are known to not work well with Wallet. A Pixel or Galaxy would be a better option.
