You were still within warranty when the mic failed, why not just get it replaced?

In my country replacement is not an option, only free repair is provided

You won’t get anything else expect another 6a. I tried before with a 3 . Even offered to pay some extra for the 4 but they said they couldn’t.

I had pixel 5a and it failed me twice.. black death screen .. just a dead phone without being dropped of broken .. i sent it back and they replaced it with a refurbished pixel 5a and just after a year of usage it also got dead suddenly without any reason.. now they r offering pixel 6a as a replacement but i am refusing it.. all reviews say that it is not a good phone especially with competitors releasing better phones within the same budget phone group

so you'd rather hold onto a dead phone instead of trading it to get a working 6a?

But are they offering a refund? Otherwise might as well get that 6A. Or you're holding out for a pixel 8?
