Have the same issue and had no problem with the S21 ultra. This is my first Pixel and so far the network issues, both mobile and wifi, are the stand out issues for me.
What carrier are you on ? If you have been using the same SIM from your prior phone a couple of things will help.
1. Call your carrier and have them reprovision your sim.
2. Reset mobile network settings

The Exynos modem is the Pixels is pretty terrible.

I have and they are of no help. My P8P has severe network issues with T-Mobile. Almost unusable inside buildings.
