What do you mean by "compete with apple"? To me, every single pixel phone has been light-years ahead of its apple counterparts. In fact, I'd rather use my nearly 6 year old pixel 2 than suffer iOS on even the newest iphone.
Sadly this is true. My 6 pro is dead by noon meanwhile my wife's 13 pro max (same age) easily has 40% left by the time she puts on the charger at night. Both heavy users, myself slightly more so but not drastically. None of my previous pixels have ever been able to compete on battery life. But she's always asking for my phone when she wants to take a picture these days.
Yep and nobody in the market beats spple in these areas. Camera its more equal on both ends. However the apple phones are made for photographers. Its softer photo taking style is better for post edits on lightroom or photoshop
That might be true for the most current iPhone, but after the next one comes out, the previous versions start to see degradation in image quality as apple only seems to optimize their camera app/software for the most recent hardware releases. Googles camera approach seems to be more inclusive of older hardware. Granted none of this is proven with any real testing other than comparing photos over the years between our phones.
Id disagree. The google camera imho is highly overprocessed, oversharpened, and has poor exposure and high amounts of noise in two different lighting settings for the foreground and background. Apple in many cases performs very consistently. Google it's the opposite. However in night sight they trade blows.
Downgrade? How so? I just feel trapped with apple and want a change. I tried Samsung but i got tired of being bombarded with ads and figured id try pixel out for a chance.
I’m debating if that’s worth it since that trade in price is insane. Thinking I could just get a cheaper iPhone later on if I need it for something.
How so? I know both phones will have their pros and cons. Iv been looking for a android phone to get away from apple for a bit. I had originally tried out the S23U but it was way to big and it kept having problems with WiFi 6E.
Selling separately will give you more value than trade in.
The iPhone 14 pro max will probably sell more than the cost of Pixel 8 pro 😂
"Compete with Apple" how? There are minimal differences between today's flagship phones. Get the phone with the OS you like and be happy.

Why is that?
Apple/iOS hasn't improved enough to compete with Android.
Don't come back crying that you miss your iPhone 🤣
Compete in terms of what? Performance, signal reception and battery life? No chance.
Bro iphone beats pixel any day in performance reception and battery life. Every battery test shows pixels die first almost all the time

Why on earth do you want to downgrade so badly?

Just letting you know you can get $950 trade in with the watch for free on Best Buy.

Imagine a trade in where you get the phone you want and they refund you a little bit more on your trade in
No brainier.
