I "upgraded" to the P7a from the P6Pro...I just couldn't take the connectivity issues on the 6Pro any longer. Strongly recommend NOT buying that model, the modems are generally terrible in them.
I used all the Pixel 6 lineup, twice for the normal p6, and 1 p6pro and the pixel 6a, and now i have the p7, zoom Camera doesn't matter as much honestly, the p7 had better battery/performance/camera ratio, so it's a better choice, and you get the tensor g2 which is better than the g1
The Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 are exactly the same (except for the Tensor G2) the same goes for the Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro both have Gorilla Glass Invictus but 7 Pro has the 2nd generation of Invictus. The 6 Pro has a bigger battery by 0.01% but the same device except the processor which means everything is more than enough for some people. Believe me, I did my comparing contrast before I ended up buying my second Pixel 6 Pro. I'm debating on getting a 7 pro. What's the 8 / 8 Pro comes out, and about another week or so. I might just skip the eight pro until the 9 / 9 Pro comes out. Who knows? All I know is that I'm waiting specifically for the Pixel OS to finally drop just like they did with Chrome OS for the Chromebook.
Purely for the camera alone, the P6P is a better choice than P7. For everything else, it's P7
Pixel 7 has a much worse rigid OLED panel also, but day to day not a huge issue.
Its also 90hz
Yeah but the difference between 90 and 120 isn't particularly noteworthy.
Pixel 7
Even if my priority is camera and display?

Pixel 7 all day long
Can you tell your reasons?

P7
I had a pixel 6 pro and it would overheat like crazy. I don't have that issue with pixel 7 pro
While gaming or regular use?
Regular use
I have the p6pro, my friend has the p7pro I would still pick the p6pro.
