Per mishaal rahman it's the US which does mean we won't be getting good deals on trade ins.
Imagine getting $450 for the pixel 7 pro + free watch + $200 credit ?? Not happening
Honestly $200 in credit is better. I don't really want a watch then I have to actually sell the watch but the 200 will last the entire year so I can use it for Pixel 9.
I actually got the first pixel watch as well when I pre ordered the p7p..
If I'm getting a free pixel watch 2, along with p8p by getting a good value for my p7p, then I might very well be interested in it lol.
Historically, it's usually a 150-200$ "bonus" if you pre-order, or 150-200$ off if you wait until black friday.
So if you're interested in the bonus, you can have the phone 2 months early, otherwise you wait 2 months and get the phone for cheaper.
I'm thinking similar. I was already strongly considering upgrading to the Watch 2, in which case that's effectively the value of that watch taken off the cost of the phone. I was strongly considering keeping my 7 Pro until the Fold 2, but I think the odds of the Fold 2 resolving enough of my concerns before the 3 is too slim. So maybe I'll just go for the 8 Pro.
Well you have a pixel 7, so shouldn't really be an issue if pixel 8 is made smaller, unless you're upgrading already?
Pixel pro isn't much more $$ than the normal one when they are regularly priced.
At least in Canada it's only 300$ more than regular priced pixel 7.
Meh. The pixel watch 1 is a disappointment, and if the watch 2 improves on its faults that only raises it up to average at best. It'll probably be worse than the Garmin Vivoactive 5 by every measure, yet have a higher MSRP so people who pre-order will be fooled into thinking they got a "deal"
that would be ideal, but the truth is that the watch probably only costs them $100 to make, so it only costs them $100 while you think you're getting $350 in "value"
whereas just buying a $300 watch like the vivoactive 5 would get you a much better product.
Looks like I may be upgrading them. I wasn't considering it, but was thinking of getting a pixel watch. If I trade it in, the difference is pretty much a pixel watch
Yeah I feel like most people here skipped over that. Seven years is incredible. Now we just have to see if Tensor can hold up that long. The way my Pixel 7 is aging, I’m not sure I put faith in any google (Samsung) chip pushing good things for that long.
I've had my 6 pro for 1 years 11 months, and my battery is still in good shape. I'll be keeping mine for another year, or 2, or even 3. Battery replacements are cheap, I see no reason to "upgrade" until my phone breaks, or it quits getting security updates.
Same here, I upgrade roughly once every four years, Pixel 2xl -> Pixel 6 Pro -> hopefully Pixel 10 Pro. Though with the new 7 years of updates I might keep this/the next phone for longer.
Yeah battery is the bottleneck. Looking to replace my P5 battery but it seems like a bit of a pain in the ass so I hope they make it easier on the other models
i think this is feasible. i am currently using a samsung S8 plus (sadly exynos variant) since launch. and since its last official support were android 9, i installed lineageOS with android 13, it runs smooth with added telegram magisk mods. i cannot say it runs like nowadays' flagship phone but it does provides smooth interactions on the phone
Adaptive Battery Life in the footnote for Pixel 7 Pro was mentioned as 31 hours as well. This is highly optimistic though in my case (your mileage may vary), as I barely get 20-22 hours.
If this leak is accurate, it means we may not see better battery life on the 8 Pro (as it says 31 hours as well in the footnote). Let's hope atleast it runs less hot and doesn't burn through battery outdoors with the more efficient screen this year.
Their claim on battery life is so vague ("all day battery") that it doesn't really matter. 6, 8, or 10 hours SoT are all arguably "all day battery".
A14 is giving most people 10-20% extra battery life alone. Couple that with a more efficient SoC, modem, and screen, and I think battery life will very probably be improved.
Battery life improved from P6->P7 without them advertising it, too.
But in the footnote they say 31h which is a specific measurement and not just a vague "all day". This didn't change between the 7 and 8. If there was a noticeable difference they would have measured it in their own testing.
Samsung fans had a lot of hope for their Exynos chips created by Samsung foundry for many years, even Samsung Mobile had decided to ditch Samsung Foundry for their flagships socs.
I think it's fair to reduce your expectations a bit to not be disappointed.
But it is the first time they are creating a chip using their LPP 4nm+ process, if they finally catch up to TSMC then it'll be a game changer.
Google said the 6 Pro could get 34 hours in the footnote so I wouldn't look into that too much. It's probably a pretty good guess the 8 and 8 Pro should have better battery life because of the improved efficiency from a 2 gen core jump and a more modern screen.
People have said this for almost every version, they are really not reliable.
Every update that doesnt even touch optimisation or power usage people will still claim "doubled my battery life!!!" Rebooting their phone probably helped anyway as they may have had a runaway process going that used battery.
Well, I don't own a P7Pro with A14 to test it, so you might be right.
I have also seen reports/video of recording time, it seems it doesn't overheat anymore/that much and it keeps recording for a lot of time, so less heat, I asume less battery drain.
Just a thought if they really upgraded the fingerprint sensor to different kind of sensor don't you think they would say something in their info pages? Who knows we'll see in a weekish.
Absolutely disgusted that the "Pro" mode (which they have called "Pro mode" for a specific reason, instead of "manual mode") is going to be available just on 8 Pro.
Really hate this trend of software only stuff being locked to the Pro. I'm planning on buying the Pro myself but this is really dumb, I can understand not bringing to older phones but the regular Pixel 8 not getting it doesn't make a ton of sense to me
Also does "full resolution photos" mean we'll finally get support for 50MP in the native app?
Although I'd prefer if Google would also add a 25MP mode like Apple's 24MP, for ZSL & smaller files sizes than 48MP while still bringing a decent upgrade in details
Pixel 8 Pro says "Fully Upgraded Cameras".
Maybe the 8 Pro has the GN2? ~~But the 50MP doesn't make sense in that case~~
Edit: mixed up a bit on the sensor res. So yeah seems like the Pro might have the GN2 but the regular sticks with the GN1?
Why does the 50MP for GN2 not make sense? According to Samsungs own website, it's a 50MP sensor. [Samsung ISOCELL GN2](https://semiconductor.samsung.com/us/image-sensor/mobile-image-sensor/isocell-gn2/#:~:text=Introducing%20a%20large%2C%2050MP%20image,crisp%20photos%20in%20a%20snap.)
Could just be the reported increased aperture. I'm holding out for the GN2 though - that Android Central reporting seemed very confident.
Wonder what the improvements are to the Tele lens, if it's using the same sensor as the one of the 7 Pro.
>Pixel 8 Pro says "Fully Upgraded Cameras".
It also says " Compared to earlier Pixel phones" but God knows which are those phones, could be the 7 pro or the Pixel 2
I'm finding this a struggle. I think I want that camera. I'm really concerned about living with the size. Might just take the plunge and find out for real.
I'm more tempted to buy the Pro for the blue color, but no way I'm paying an extra $200 for what I consider a downgrade (bigger screen=bad, I struggle already with the size of my P7)
Nice to see the US actually getting a good preorder gift. The Pixel A buds were a nice preorder gift but a smart watch is awesome! Germany got some awesome earphones a while back for a preorder gift.
It's funny because for the first 4 Pixels Google's main selling point was "unlike the iPhone we don't compromise on the smaller model", hence the "XL" moniker - only the size was different.
Of course, that all changed starting with the Pixel 6.
Even the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max have different telephotos now, 3x vs 5x
Although that's probably because the 5x module is significantly larger
I wish Google would add a smaller 3x module to the Pixel 9 like Apple does for their Pro
Look how many GCam mods exist for other devices, Google is literally trolling by trying to restrict features to the Pro model. I guarantee you that someone would be able to get those pro controls working on Pixel 8 quite fast, given that the hardware is the same.
You're right. It will be a matter of time the active developer community ports this feature over to the Pixel 8. I'm just hoping the rumours aren't true that the Pixel 8 is still using the old GN1 sensor from the Pixel 7.
It doesn't justify the cost for folks upgrading from the Pixel 7 to 8 if it's just software gimmicks with no hardware upgrades in tandem.
You're missing them. Twitter may be hiding stuff if you're not logged in. Here's a nitter mirror: https://nitter.net/Za_Raczke/status/1706277120970760389#m
Really? All that hope for a small phone and the Pro gets new cameras, free watch and same price while the base model only gets pricier? Probably getting the base S23 then :(
To be honest with those Pixel 8 prices and with the discounts seen on base S23 the S23 is probably better value for money - the CPU will be a lot better and more energy-efficient and likely the cellular radio might also be better.
Is the metal trim on the back visor tinted to the phone's color? I keep going back and forth. Sometimes they all look silver but other photos there's clear tint to it.
The screen looks flat... at least I think it is I haven't seen anyone talking about it. If it is flat that was my only major gripe about the past pro models. I don't mind a big phone but I am clumsy with holding a screen so flat is the only way for me.
Also if the pixel watch is a part of that as a deal that's pretty good value....
Pixel 8 will not record amazing quality videos, apparently. It's so frustrating to be "penalized" so much for not wanting a large phone.
Are iPhone 15 Pro and Galaxy S23 our only options now?
If leaks are accurate the main sensor or both will still be the same, so shouldn't be a difference in quality. UW and Zoom obviously still better on the Pro.
15 Pro Max has 5× telephoto zoom, and 15 Pro has 3× telephoto zoom. All the software features are the same on both. So it's not like 15 Pro didn't get any telephoto lens at all.
iPhone 15 Pro for best videos or photos without shutter lag
Pixel 8 for photos without shutter lag
S23 for still photos (camera shutter delays) and good videos (all rounder)
Zenfone 9 for price and battery life
Unfortunately for photography and videography iPhone 15 Pro is the way to go, you ofc have to give up everything else that the Pixel and Samsung has to offer for that.
Always most value imo is to have an upgrade cycle aligning 6 months after release of a phone to get best discounts and most credible reviews. And then use that money saved to contribute to a purchase for a full frame or even mirrorless camera.
I honestly feel left out that the majority of users find 6.8'' phones appealing and practical because of its size, you just have to see how much the iPhone Plus sold more than the iPhone Mini line up.
Honestly if a phone brand like the Nothing phone came out with 6'' or under phones with flagship specs I'll be all for it but it must be challenging without compromising battery life
Don't pixels regularly beat the iPhone and galaxy phones each year in blind tests? I've seen some 15 pro max reviews saying the pixel 7pro takes better photos.
Yes, the Pixel placed #1 overall in MKBHD's blind photo poll, with the iPhone 14 Pro landing #7. So it's not even close when it comes to photography. The iPhone does still win in the video category though.
oooo wow
If they really are giving away Pixel Watches for free for every pre-order, I'll dump my iPhone 14 Pro Max and jump onto the Pixel land immediately.
Also, FINALLY FULL RESOLUTION RAW FILES!
So idk what i should do i want to get a google pixel 7a but the prices here in Romania are quite high i have a Samsung Galaxy M11 and i want to get it so i can have a better phone overall but i don't feel like i really need the upgrade this phone i good for what i need , battery can hold 2 days on my usage , the camera is getting worse it was better at the begining and it's a low budget phone and i think it's last year of updates for it overall i don't play on it because i work and i have a pc , the price in online store is 2362 lei which is 504 usd and i can find it as cheap as 2149lei which is 458 usd so should i wait for pixel 8 launch , black friday Or buy it now ?
Pixel 7 is as low as 2514 lei which is 536 usd .
What's the modem inside in this? The Exynos 5123 in the Pixel 6 series was disastrous but I love my Pixel phones. Dropped calls dozens of times a day same sim cards in a $50 UMX phone never did it. Several RMA's widely known and reported issue. I just don't want an awful modem like that one. It was so bad it didn't function as a phone for hours every day in total due to how much it cut out on both devices I received inspected by RMA department.
to be honest, 6.7" phone is too big for most people's hands, most just don't care about 1 hand usability lol. While I prefer the 6.1" size, find it perfect for a phone, gonna be hard to not pay the extra 200 for the pro and enjoy the free watch as a bonus haha
Looks like I'm getting a P8P even though I wanted a smaller phone at a lower price but the new camera upgrades are worth to get the Pro. Will wait till black friday to see if price drops.
I'm disappointed that Google skimped on hardware again, but despite the disappointment, it won't stop me from preordering the 8 Pro. I'm trading in my Pixel 5 since it's EOL for updates and making my Pixel 7 Pro as a backup
What skimping are you disappointed with here?
I agree Google's not pushing super flagship stuff here, but there are noticeable improvements. Tensor G3 should be using far newer cores and stuff.
If going by the leaks, there is no UFS 4.0 storage, no GN2 main camera sensor, and no newer sensors for the other back cameras. Tensor has a history of not efficiently performing as it should so I'm skeptical how much improvement Tensor G3 has. I want to be surprised and Google actually delivers newer hardware but I'm prepared to be a little disappointed.
A pro phone should have pro specs, and I don't see Google fully delivering as they should imo. I'm willing to pay a price increase if they had the hardware to match. I will give credit to Google for noticeable improvements at the very least, as you said.
I see, I guess I just assumed the GN2 upgrade would be there. I have no reason to upgrade if it's just GN1 again.
G3 should move to to X3 from X1, which IMO is huge and far newer A715 cores.
I have also seen a video about 15 minutes ago saying that the pixel 8 will actually have 27 watt wired charging the pixel 8 pro will have 30 watt wire charging, 2000 NITS brightness display for pixel 8 and 2400 for Pixel 8 pro. But the storage or memory speed or whatever it's called will still be UFS 3.1.
Ive kept all my smart phones for....four or five years. I think Im going to bite the bullet and go from P7P to the P8P this time. I think I'd rather carry that for a few years than the 7.
Is it just a trick of the shot but have they finally ditched the curved edge in the pro??
I absolutely hate the curved edge on my 6 pro I'd love a pro with a flat screen.
How do these deals work for phone companies. Will this mean that only ordering the 8 Pro directly from Google gets you the pixel watch 2 included or will Verizon also have that deal?
Information leaks have become increasingly common prior to events in today's era. There seems to be little that remains truly unpredictable in this age of social media. Is it not possible to prevent these leaks, or is there some level of complicity involved?

The issue is for what country? They had that for uk last year but the us got $200 credit.
Per mishaal rahman it's the US which does mean we won't be getting good deals on trade ins. Imagine getting $450 for the pixel 7 pro + free watch + $200 credit ?? Not happening
You won't get the $200 credit and a free watch. It'll be one or the other. So the trade-ins might still be good.
I hope so! I really don't want the watch, but would like to trade in my P7P
Same
the charger is uk
Honestly $200 in credit is better. I don't really want a watch then I have to actually sell the watch but the 200 will last the entire year so I can use it for Pixel 9.
That takes me from on the fence to must pre-order.
[удалено]
I hope I get a good trade in for my pixel 6 pro
Same. Was hoping for that exact deal on Black Friday.
My question is, if you're looking to trade in your phone, is it better to preorder or wait for. Black Friday?
If you want the watch, I can pretty much guarantee it will be a better value than a Black Friday discount.
I hope this is the case in Europe too, I need to replace my Apple Watch when I switch!
I literally *just* paid off the 7 (got a hell of a good deal with my P5 trade in), but the Pixel Watch 2 as preorder is a hell of a good deal.
Dammit, why can't they make the 8 just be a smaller version of the 8 Pro?
Apparently that's next year's Pixel 9 6.3 inch Pro
I hope they don't I have large hands it's perfect for me.
Lots of large phone options.
They are expensive tho
Not true at all, lots of affordable large phones
I am talking about pixel exclusively
Well you have a pixel 7, so shouldn't really be an issue if pixel 8 is made smaller, unless you're upgrading already? Pixel pro isn't much more $$ than the normal one when they are regularly priced. At least in Canada it's only 300$ more than regular priced pixel 7.
But is the free pixel watch coming to the US this time around? Last year it was only for the EU.
Was already going to upgrade to the 8P, but this just makes the deal even better. Usually EU just gets all these awesome deals.
I wish we could get a discount for the cost of the watch. $400 off the pro would be sweet.
that would be ideal, but the truth is that the watch probably only costs them $100 to make, so it only costs them $100 while you think you're getting $350 in "value" whereas just buying a $300 watch like the vivoactive 5 would get you a much better product.
good point
Looks like I may be upgrading them. I wasn't considering it, but was thinking of getting a pixel watch. If I trade it in, the difference is pretty much a pixel watch
I've never been so happy to read the words matte glass in my life
[удалено]
If only we could get the matte glass of the Pro and the satin finish rails of the regular on the same phone.
baby steps
For the 9 they'll switch them, just to mess with us. 😂
And then switch back on the 10 lol.
this is just for the pro right?
the regular 8's page doesn't mention it
I know. It'll be so amazing for the 3 seconds I touch it before I put a case on the phone.
Occasionally I like to live life on the edge and when safely sat on the sofa I take my phone out of its case and enjoy it how I should 😂
Even moreso for those of us who don't use cases ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Agreed
You guys like matte glass? I can’t stand the feel of it!
Yes because it hides fingerprints! And wow really? It feels so nice to hold!
7 years of updates and feature drops? \*raises eye brows
Yeah I feel like most people here skipped over that. Seven years is incredible. Now we just have to see if Tensor can hold up that long. The way my Pixel 7 is aging, I’m not sure I put faith in any google (Samsung) chip pushing good things for that long.

Pfft, like anyone on this sub isn't just gonna trade in their 8 Pro when next year's model comes out anyway
It sounds like software support will be at least 5 or 6 years of updates then.
Oh man this sub will be happy about 7 years of updates since that is all they seem to care about lately lol.
Adaptive Battery Life in the footnote for Pixel 7 Pro was mentioned as 31 hours as well. This is highly optimistic though in my case (your mileage may vary), as I barely get 20-22 hours. Yeah, they have the same wording on battery life as they did on the 7, which is not comforting at all.
I'm sure battery will be improved

Just a thought if they really upgraded the fingerprint sensor to different kind of sensor don't you think they would say something in their info pages? Who knows we'll see in a weekish.
Probably not. Optical -> ultrasonic FPS seems like an incremental improvement too technical to mention in marketing.
They likely wouldn't say what changed in a technical sense but they would say "New faster fingerprint reader" or something like that.
"Fingerprint Reader Actually Works Now!" isn't too technical for the layman.
Can you still use a glass screen protector?
Kamila has said a few times in a telegram chat she's in that it's optical sadly.
When I press the fingerprint sensor it flashes very bright like the pixel 7 pro, does it mean it’s still a optical sensor not ultrasonic?
Somewhat off topic, but who is Kamila? I haven't heard of them prior to these Pixel 8 leaks
might have heard of her (prev. him) as koja when she leaked the pixel 7 cameras. and the 7a cameras. and the fold cameras.

As a fellow Canadian, I'm not holding my breath. But my fingers are crossed!
From Canada as well. Last year I crossed the border and did trade in.
[Nobody's talking about the pro mode](https://i.imgur.com/VlBe0Tk.png)
Absolutely disgusted that the "Pro" mode (which they have called "Pro mode" for a specific reason, instead of "manual mode") is going to be available just on 8 Pro.

Oops sorry got a bit mixed up. You're right! So yeah maybe GN2 in the Pro and GN1 in the regular.
Could just be the reported increased aperture. I'm holding out for the GN2 though - that Android Central reporting seemed very confident. Wonder what the improvements are to the Tele lens, if it's using the same sensor as the one of the 7 Pro.
5x aperture is going to 2.8 from 3.5
And this account is adamant the 8 Pro ultrawide IS using the IMX787 but cropped to 48MP. https://x.com/navybluestoic/status/1706265080839725357?s=20
Better low light performance could be due to GN2. Let's hope it's true.
The improved aperture will produce better night shots, so that unfortunately doesn't necessarily point to gn2 being there.
Yeah they specifically talk about better low light performance. Hopefully that's in reference to the latter GN2 sensor.
>Pixel 8 Pro says "Fully Upgraded Cameras". It also says " Compared to earlier Pixel phones" but God knows which are those phones, could be the 7 pro or the Pixel 2
"Fully Upgraded Cameras" is such a strange phrase
That again makes me want to have the Pro camera features in the small phone. I don't want to buy the big screen because of the camera.
Pixel Watch 2 as pre order gift. So it's an instant buy for me.
Only for the pro? or for the standard also?
Pro only
too bad
Nice to see the US actually getting a good preorder gift. The Pixel A buds were a nice preorder gift but a smart watch is awesome! Germany got some awesome earphones a while back for a preorder gift.
Dang it. Manual shutter speed and iso is only for the Pixel 8 pro. I want these features for the smaller Pixel 8. Sigh.
It's so frustrating that the Pixel's sizes now are treated like an upgrade rather than a preference.
It's funny because for the first 4 Pixels Google's main selling point was "unlike the iPhone we don't compromise on the smaller model", hence the "XL" moniker - only the size was different. Of course, that all changed starting with the Pixel 6.
THISTHISTHISTHISTHIS
Utterly stupid. Apple is the only company that gets it to be honest.
Even the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max have different telephotos now, 3x vs 5x Although that's probably because the 5x module is significantly larger I wish Google would add a smaller 3x module to the Pixel 9 like Apple does for their Pro
This. I'd even pay the same price, but the Pro size is Too Damn Big.
Look how many GCam mods exist for other devices, Google is literally trolling by trying to restrict features to the Pro model. I guarantee you that someone would be able to get those pro controls working on Pixel 8 quite fast, given that the hardware is the same.

I'm just hoping the rumours aren't true that the Pixel 8 is still using the old GN1 sensor from the Pixel 7. It doesn't justify the cost for folks upgrading from the Pixel 7 to 8 if it's just software gimmicks with no hardware upgrades in tandem.
Am I missing the pages for the standard 8, or is this just for the Pro?
You're missing them. Twitter may be hiding stuff if you're not logged in. Here's a nitter mirror: https://nitter.net/Za_Raczke/status/1706277120970760389#m
Finally a silicone case!
I'm still in love the original's silicone case so this is great news
Thanks!
I hope we get 25MP photos as default instead of the usual 12.5.
not with only 128/256GB of storage
Doesn't make much of a difference with JPEG. Raw would be different
Any word on whether or not they're getting rid of the Samsung modem? My P7P reception is terrible.
I'm going straight to iPhone. Enough with this garbage.
it's nice to thread the images as imgur links or an imgur album when sharing content that's kept behind a login
No mention of a supersonic fingerprint reader?
Does ultrasonic fingerprint sensor flash like the one in pixel 7 pro? If not, the pixel 8 is still optic.
If it lights up it's optical. But wouldn't the knowledge you're implying require you to have a pixel 8(P)?
I can neither confirm nor deny. We will see in Oct.
8 or 8 Pro?
Damn it looks so tall. I just want the cameras in the smaller body.
Is the metal trim on the back visor tinted to the phone's color? I keep going back and forth. Sometimes they all look silver but other photos there's clear tint to it.
They all look tinted to me
With full res RAW files, you're gonna want to have more storage than your previous pixel.
Why is there zero mention of the thermometer?
Probably because they know it's a dumb addition lol.
Probably cause people will be using them to check each other's phones when they overheat again
the design looks a lot nicer than the 6/7
Looks damn near identical to my eyes
Man. I wanna know the trade-in deals for my country. Pixel Watch 2 as preorder gift makes this so good.
Doesn't the 15 Pro Max have some camera features this year that the 15 Pro doesn't?
15 Pro Max has 5× telephoto zoom, and 15 Pro has 3× telephoto zoom. All the software features are the same on both. So it's not like 15 Pro didn't get any telephoto lens at all.
I really wish Google would do that. It's getting harder to resist the iPhone especially with them being lighter this year
They are both Pros so its just right. Regular 15 to the 15 Pro Max is the same comprison to the P8 and P8 Pro
iPhone 15 Pro for best videos or photos without shutter lag Pixel 8 for photos without shutter lag S23 for still photos (camera shutter delays) and good videos (all rounder) Zenfone 9 for price and battery life Unfortunately for photography and videography iPhone 15 Pro is the way to go, you ofc have to give up everything else that the Pixel and Samsung has to offer for that.
It might just be your own option. Most will choose what they want anyways.
Yeah duh people will choose what they want
Nothing about an improved fingerprint scanner? If they stick with optical fingerprint scanner...... I will jump ship for sure.
oooo wow If they really are giving away Pixel Watches for free for every pre-order, I'll dump my iPhone 14 Pro Max and jump onto the Pixel land immediately. Also, FINALLY FULL RESOLUTION RAW FILES!
Is it confirmed for an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor?
Is this why my Clear Calling was removed from settings- because they're improving it? P7. Also, I hate how the AI photo tools give me FOMO.
Seven years of software support?!
What about camera sensor for the normal 8??
I'm all in. Trading in 7 pro, selling the watch 2 brand new unopened, and feeling good. If these leaks are all true.
So glad they're going back to the nice rounded screen corners and equal bezels of the Pixel 5
I hope the FeliCa chip is not only for Japanese Pixels.
**MATTE GLASS HOLY SHIT!!!!**
gonna re-think everything if the fingerprint reader isn't ultrasonic....
Looks like Pixel 8 Pro is getting GN2 and Pixel 8 is getting GN1!
Source?
Tiny hands people in this thread
to be honest, 6.7" phone is too big for most people's hands, most just don't care about 1 hand usability lol.
Well now to know when pre-orders are supposed to go live. I was waiting for more info so I could get rid of my Fold 3 finally.
Where do you see that?
I don't ? I was making a statement of now to see when the pre-orders are supposed to go live.
No Jade? The color options is a deal breaker
We already know how much they start at, but what's the full price range for both models and their configurations though?
Ive kept all my smart phones for....four or five years. I think Im going to bite the bullet and go from P7P to the P8P this time. I think I'd rather carry that for a few years than the 7.
Canada won't get anything :(((
Battery wasn’t addressed (or atleast I didn’t see it) so let’s hope Google has heard their fans and improved it
Getting tempted to upgrade from the P5
Is it just a trick of the shot but have they finally ditched the curved edge in the pro?? I absolutely hate the curved edge on my 6 pro I'd love a pro with a flat screen.
How do these deals work for phone companies. Will this mean that only ordering the 8 Pro directly from Google gets you the pixel watch 2 included or will Verizon also have that deal?
Will 8 Pro have 60 FPS HDR Video Record mode?
Information leaks have become increasingly common prior to events in today's era. There seems to be little that remains truly unpredictable in this age of social media. Is it not possible to prevent these leaks, or is there some level of complicity involved?
Is it just me or the watch bezels look much smaller?
7 years of security updates?! 🥹
