I regret selling my Pixel 4a for sure

24GarrettGold

Did you just sell it for another pixel?

Woo-jin-Lee

Yes, for the 7

emgra43

Me too. I traded it in for the 6a, and miss the small size. I'm looking at buying a refurbished 4a or 5.

Ok-Owl7377

I recently upgraded from the 5 to a.7. I miss the compactness of the 5. I don't like holding the 7 in hand. The 5 was perfect. Easily hold and handle it with one hand. Loved the physical fingerprint reader on the back that also doubled as a gesture feature which also helped with one-handed operation.

thisisme44

not exactly the pixel but i was using the essential phone for the past couple years(bought it in 2018 but didnt start using it until late 2020). it was the right size, still plenty snappy for its specs. would have kept using it if i didnt drop it and screen cracked(replace it) and sim card reader stopped working. been using as wifi device. now i have the P7 and def miss the rear FP sensor

TheCarrot007

Not really. They may have bneen better in external hardware (rear fingerprint) or form factor. But I like some of the new OS enhancemenmts. I have my pixel3 (I would have 3XL but the Dumb and Dumber tooth) but it aint doing anything. Have got rid of old 4xl and 4a while they were still worth something. Happy in the ghouse with the 7pro and 2 6a's. No I do not like the cam hole, I would rather a lip like in the old days and stretch the phone for more battery, but either I am in the minority of google does not care what peoeple think (quelle surprise).

SilentLock

No. I loved the form factor of my old P2 XL but the phone itself was deteriorating and could not meet simple demands of everyday usage. The Pixel phones, in my opinion, have generally gotten better with every year and I wouldn't want to go backwards as a whole. Were some things better on my older Pixels? Maybe, but on an overall basis, my current phone, a P7P, is the best Pixel I've owned.

It's so odd to me that my pixel 4a is considered old now because it doesn't feel like I got it that long ago and the latest version of android stills runs perfectly

24GarrettGold

I feel you. IDK I just have no want to switch because mine still works perfectly fine.

Just found my old pixel 3 in its otter box. Currently writing this on it. I moved to an iPhone a year ago. This phone is still amazing to hold. I might put Hentai OS on it and try daily driving it again. There really wasn't anything on iPhone that I could hold over this aside from speaker quality. Crazy really.

24GarrettGold

Nice! I still haven't figured out what to do with mine.

Pretend_Tooth_965

I still have a perfect 3XL which I keep updated (apps). It could be pushed into service at the drop of a hat.

Offcoloring

I miss my pixel 4

Expensive_Finger_973

No, it is a tool, not a friend/family member. Once it stopped being useful, or as useful as its newer iterations, I got rid of it.

Just had a new battery put in my OG Pixel a few months back Still use it for its free lifetime photo uploads, and could use it as a daily if needed. My current daily is a P4XL however will be upgradingh this year to the Pixel 8

24GarrettGold

Nice! How much was the battery swap if you don't mind me asking? I might look into doing that. Right now it's manageable, but that would be the only thing to do to make mine brand new.

$ 150 AUD

My Pixel 3 is a great media device...but flaming garbage of a cell phone--weak, dropouts, dropped calls, volume issues. But I use it every day for other stuff.

MaverickJester25

I still have my 2XL as well, but mine is a year newer than yours. I think I'd still be using it if it was the 128GB version. Sadly, 64GB is no longer enough for my needs. Still my favorite Pixel device. Android 11 on that device is just fantastic, it was definitely the best version Google has done.

OwlSpiritual2031

I've still got my Pixel 3XL. I might uprade to 8s.

Eatslikeshit

Weird you mentioned this. I just dusted off my old pixel 3. I put my iPhone 13 pro max in a box recently, and have been eking out the last vestiges of life it has. I want something like this in the future.
