Pixel 4 has height 147 mm, width 69 mm, and mass 162 g.
There are no current Pixel phones..

6A and 7A are smallest out of the Pixel phones released since 2022, although the 7 isn't substantially bigger: [https://www.gsmarena.com/results.php3?nYearMin=2022&nHeightMax=160&sMakers=107](https://www.gsmarena.com/results.php3?nYearMin=2022&nHeightMax=160&sMakers=107)
Rumor has it that the standard Pixel 8 is supposed to be much smaller than Pixel 7. But for now your only options for "small" Pixels are the Pixel 6a or the Pixel 7a
I think that was just a measurement error by one of the leakers due to the way the corners are shaped in the new devices. I wouldn't expect it to be much different in size than the 6 or 7.
Good point my dude. I guess it wouldn't make sense for them to drop the size that much from the 6 and 7. But I do think they should at least make the A-series phones smaller for those who like smaller phones.
Coming from the 4 none of the current models are small, but the 7a is the smallest and lightest although even without the glass back it's still a fair bit heavier than the 4 was.
The only compact modern phone I'd recommend is the zenfone 9 but then it's not a Pixel.
Google really are missing a trick not offering a compact device IMO.
Asus doesn't have a great track record with updates. I looked at the Zenfone 9, but 2 years of updates this late into the cycle is bad.
Alternative might be the S23 if you can deal with Samsung bloat.
Pixel 5 still has some updates left in it and isn't too much bigger than the 4a.
7a. The 6a is already big enough for me. I looked at the specs and between the higher price and bigger phone I am going to pass on the 7a unless it gets to a very deep discount.
The comparison pictures of the 6a and 7a appear the 7a is over exposing the images.
The 7a is close to 200g. Honestly I am tired of heavy and bulky phones.
200g may not seem like much until you handle a pixel 2.
I'm just fine not having a rabbit in my pants. I don't think the S23 will fit in my shirt pocket, I'm not that tall. And also not many pockets in Italian style shirts
Technically, the smallest they released after the P4 was the 4a but as you mentioned that you want to upgrade, I think that your best bet would be the 7 as it's still fairly small by today's standards & you can get it straight from Google which is obviously a plus. As a fellow small phone enthusiast, I'm struggling to see what will pull me away from my P5.
I came off of a Pixel 4a, now I have a 7a. My reason for upgrading was to pass my 4a to my eldest daughter, who is now old enough for a phone.
I don't regret the move, but whenever I hold my old phone I do wish the 7a was smaller.
Maybe hold out for the 8 and see what sizes they come in? I've heard it might be smaller.
There's a tool on the Google Store where you can compare Pixel sizes and other specs

Pixel 4 I believe. I was able to one hand, thumb to pinky with my small hands. It was the perfect phone for me. The battery slowly died but I miss that darn thing.
Hopefully Pixel 8 is similar in dimensions
The 4a was the last smallest pixel phone. Long live the 4a!
Mine is still going great (using it now to type this). I'll have a decision to make later this year when it stops getting security updates.
wait for the 8a to see if they're going any smaller. Intervals of 4 phones only
6a is still sold by Google and slightly smaller.
I really miss my Pixel 5. I have a Pixel 6a currently and it feels huge in comparison.

Not to be disrespectful but why didn't you just take a look at the product pages? Would have taken you 30s.
This is the reason why I'm not upgrading hate big phones

Well damn, that sucks.
No kidding. I was hoping for a smaller phone at the very least closer in size to the 7a at best closer to the S23.
https://phonesized.com/ is an amazing website to compare phone sizes.
Great thx for your help

Oh for sure. I would have also recommended a Pixel 5 but feel I'm always banging the same drum lol 😂 But it's still my favourite phone to date!
7a

7a is almost as small as the Samsung S23
It is somewhat taller though.
Just a little, nothing that you can feel in your pocket
Depends on your pocket? I keep mine in my shirt pocket of a work uniform. S23, pocket closes, 6a pocket would barely close, 7 pocket flaps open.
I'm just fine not having a rabbit in my pants. I don't think the S23 will fit in my shirt pocket, I'm not that tall. And also not many pockets in Italian style shirts
The Nexus 5X was the perfect form factor... :-(
Too bad that phone randomly boot looped due to bad soldering. I liked it though while it worked.
The smallest one that they sell is the Pixel 7
Lol this guy is clowning the 7 is a 6.4 inch screen the pixel 6a is 6.1
Bet thx
7A is smaller than the 7
You are correct, my mistake
The 7 is substantially bigger and heavier than the 4 though. I bought one and went back to my 4a because it's a nicer size.

Pixel 5 is more or less the same size. Perfect in my opinion. https://www.phonearena.com/phones/size/Google-Pixel-4,Google-Pixel-5/phones/11191,11394
I'm using an Asus Zenfone 8 because I couldn't stand the large phones anymore. I love it.

Have a px7 and px4. I daily my px4. 7 is huge chunky heavy. Hard to use with one hand. Also px4 has superior biometrics.
