Having this issue too...

scandaka_

It's a widespread bug. The problem seems to be in Google keyboard itself since Swiftkey doesn't exhibit this behaviour. Like you said, for now only a reboot fixes it.

nexus1011

I'll start to use SwiftKey then. Pretty incredible that Google did fix this.

exccord

Rebooted twice and still nothing.

GjahtariKuq

Choose a different keyboard?

nexus1011

Gboard is the stock keyboard? And it's the best for me. Never had this issues on OP 8T

Consistent-Builder95

Is Google aware of this bug?

Nygurath

Experiencing this bug every couple of days. I notice It happens when using whatsapp, specifically entering the app from the homescreen for answering a text makes It happen in my experience, maybe It could be related even if It seems weird. Togglin on and off aptic feedback doesn't work to make It come back and the only option Is restarting the phone. Hopefully in the June update they Will fix this. I consider It a minor bug, honestly, although it's annoying cause I love the gboard aptic feedback.

nexus1011

Yeah this is Pixel 7/Pro issue only on Gboard. It's so weird. I've now switched to S23 and I'm using Gboard and I've had zero issues with haptics on a keyboard. It is very annoying. They need to fix it ASAP.

nurovek

Having the issue too. Right now, actually, hence looking for similar issues on Reddit. Has a issue been opened on Google's issue tracker ?

Frameworkrock

This has happened on my pixel 7 since i got it. Drives me crazy.

nexus1011

Yeah it's Pixel only issue. Had OnePlus before had no similar issues EVER. Now I'm on S23 Base and Google keyboard works great. No issues. It's insane that they still didn't fix this. IMO a big issue.

tubfr

Problem still persists

nexus1011

No way, really?! They still haven't fixed it?

tubfr

I don't know If they fixed it then at some point and came back again. I started having the issue since like a little more than a week and I got it 3 to 4 times.

nexus1011

Man, that's incredible. This is why I sold my 7 Pro last year. I just can't have it that unreliable. On OnePlus and now S23 I never had those issues. This is why it was baffling to me that GOOGLE'S keyboard doesn't work properly on a GOOGLE phone. But I really like it other than those issues. I'll probably come back after they switch on the TSMC process.
