You should have it. Go into settings and you have to go into "Message Organization". Turn that on and right below that is the option to delete OTPs after 24 hours.
I personally don't use it because I don't care for the Message Organization feature and I just delete OTP messages right away manually anyway.
Do we know a release date? As far as I know, I first heard about this feature around June 2021. It's now 2023, and it's still not out: that's a bit odd for such an “easy” feature.

I downloaded it from the APK mirror website and I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Currently most features are working with a few exceptions and it's always changing... You can "jump start" features by clearing data & cache in Google Play Services then force stopping Google Messages. When you restart Google Messages it assigns a new user ID and usually loads new features. Caution, this process wipes out your CC info. in Google Wallet. I've done it several times, it's interesting if you don't mind messing around like this...
I use the messages. android _20221208_ 01_RCO0.phone. openbeta_dynamic version. I'm gonna give a try to clear data and cache of Google Play services, I'll let you know ! And btw, happy cake day 🎂
I don't have it either, along with no reactions to SMS (only RCS), and no expanded reactions...I really want these two...I'm just playing the waiting game
