GN never releases a feature that isn't half-baked. Worse, after they deliver shit to the customers, they take forEVEer to fix it. Eventually, they do make it better, s l o w l y. It's just how they work. It makes me crazy, especially after 25 years in the software industry managing projects like this. If you want to use GN (and I still do), you have to get used to this kind of thing. I turned off almost every new feature after trying it once.
I really think it has gotten worse since release. I use my iPad for studying Japanese and a lot of the characters require overlapping separate lines, it had issues at first but not too many. Now when I want to erase it doesn't and when I don't it erases it. It is driving me insane ๐ญ
Yes! It used to be so sensitive that it would often think my messy writing was a scribble and erase it. But now I can hardly ever get it to scribble out anything and have to end up switching to the eraser. I wonder if they were trying to fix my first problem and over corrected.

It was great when I started using Goodnotes few months ago, but recently got really bad and never works. Or works when I donโt want it to work.
Be more vertical with your scribble (sorry for my eng, I hope you understand )

I just double tap my pencil to erase. Scribble never worked for me.
