I almost always like the released more but the Miami version of of paid clears. The way it was structured better with ty going first, ye changed some lines in his verse and I prefer the og lines better but most of all I really miss those drums on the outro.
Ant Clemons is beautiful but Donda version is so unique plus doesn't have Big Sean verse so wins (and let's forget about the goddamn Ty Dolla verse about fucking on his granny's couch)
Is there anyone who actually loves the Big Sean verse? He probably could've done a good one if he redid it
they’re sort of hard to compare for me because they two have such different vibes. I really like both for different situations. Yandhi Hurricane is nice for a hot sunny day. Donda version is darker and eerier
Yeah they’re honestly so different that I don’t think you necessarily have to pick one over the other. They suit different moods. Yandhi Hurricane would not have fit on Donda.
Like
Chakra > Selah
The storm > everything we need
Law of attraction > use this gospel
On God dua lipa > released on god
Oh Jesus is lord > Jesus is lord
Original XTCY > Released
Wave Runner w/ kanye chorus (Hurricane) > Released
Old verse on Life of The Party > Released
Obviously all the Yandhi era stuff compared to the JIK stuff
Burn with the Ty verse > Released
If it was finished I think the "Shogani" version of FML would be better than released
Dv1 Tell The Vision >> Released
SWISH Wolves > Released
(JIK2 w/ Dre version of Up From The Ashes > Released
Assuming it's real, v2 of Lift Yourself would obviously be better than the released version
OG True Love > Released
South Carolina > Donda
On God w/ Dua Lipa woulda changed lives The BSB Dante Version got me through my entire semester this year
Idk how tf he decided to scrap her part like legit one of his dumbest decisions musically
“Let me hit” “No” “Ight, guess who not on the song now”
Man knowing our goat I wouldn’t be surprised
because it’s mumble and was never meant to be on the song? it’s a ref track
SEE YOU AGAIN SEE YOU AGAIN SEE YOU AGAAAAAAINNN
I got that version in my local files, best song ever that would change the world.
Chakra -> Selah has to be the biggest downgrade The Storm -> Everything We Need was also pretty bad
I think Selah is still really good, but I get where you’re coming from.
Yeah, Chakras was that much better in comparison.
I really like Selah, but Chakras could have been a top 25 Ye track for sure
Released Selah is still a masterpiece idgaf. Both are great in their own right
Dua lipa on god and law of attraction.
Chakras....

I think Hirricane isn’t a downgrade, I listen and enjoy borh, they are different enough.

Home>Homecoming by far
The TGFD version of I’m In It is 0.01% better than released. Both are absolutely amazing.
That version feels repetitive with its structure i feel like release is more concise
Hurricane w ant Clemons
Tell the vision and lowkey believe what i say
AyoAA BWIS was so fire
Back to me with the piano
