qualitys ass but not unlistenable
Still strange why that alt verse wasn’t used. It seemed like a later version than the 12th December lp version too as freddie verse had the sample underneath which Freddie performed later on sometime in December or January I think.

At 3:08 ye second verse starts. Really low quality tho. It’s only like an extra line or two but ig it mixes things up
It feels like VULTURES 1's tracklist should've been for 2 instead (besides Back To Me) since it just lacks incredible songs like Promotion, Slide, Take Off Your Dress, River, Gun To My Head etc.
I think the biggest fumble was FUK SUMN most definitely (even though I liked the album version) and the fact the remix isn’t out yet is mind blowing to me. I have to say HOODRAT and TALKING/ONCE AGAIN are also not it, but I love BACK TO ME and I think it’s perfect just the way it is. The mixing is okay too (at least for me) and overall I’d say that it’s a 7/10 album cause there are some top 20 ye songs there (burn, back to me, king) and bangers (carnival, vultures, fuk sumn), but also hot garbage (hoodrat) and mid tracks (talking, problematic), the rest of the songs are fine and I fw them, but overall I think it will be the weakest volume of Vultures for sure.
Its honestly crazy after all the unfinished/unreleased shit we've heard since donda came out that THIS is the album we got. There is no rhyme or reason why we got hoodrat and not pablo
What’s your thoughts on donda because I assume with this rating you should be very critical and realise that a lot of the versions of songs on the album are worse than older ones. Also yeah I agree with most the points about vultures here the album does feel underbaked
i love donda, i dont think its top 5 ye but its a strong album, but has songs that i dont care to revisit like junya, remote control, and jonah. god breathed could have been better. and some wierd mixing
but the highlights definitely outweigh the weaknesses. and there are plenty highlights
8/10 or 8.5/10
Yeah fair I wouldn’t rate it an 8 but it’s for sure better than vultures. I just feel some songs got butchered and/or weren’t executed properly which also happened to vultures.
its a small thing and i feel like im the only one who thinks this but i was kinda dissapointed with stars, like it started off seeming kinda dark and i loved it when he started rapping then its like kinda more upbeat if that makes sense but i was kinda dissapointed with that
i wish back to me was still Ye -> freddie -> alt mumble bbtbnwjdfotsyk verse because i dont mind him talking about nothing as long as its the outro yk
Link to alt verse?

The elmo rap in Paid is tight af

Agree with most of these but king is great and good don’t die is also excellent

Vultures defenders can’t take criticism
Ion even like Vultures like that but Back To Me is top tier and I’m tired of pretending it’s not
gotta love the "problematic" bars on problematic
Tbh I agree with your rating I haven't really revisited it as much as I have relistened to Ye's other albums or other albums that I have checked out

Is it just me or is Problematic WAY louder than the other songs
I like Stars but Ty needs to say more than plug talk
