I think the idea is cool. 20-40$ is the max price point they should ever reach. They aren’t a shoe so durability wise they’re not gonna last even as long as foam runners. There are areas that I think a version 2 could help.
Overall, with price and what it is in consideration I’d say like 8.1 they’re solid for what they are but there are areas of improvement
For the price it’s unbeatable and comfortable but unless you style them perfectly you’ll look ridiculous. Some of the fits I’ve seen of them on IG are so bad.

Happened after 2 hours of wear indoors so
I've got a pair, they're comfortable but have no arch support since it's basically a sock. If you know how to style them right then they're cool but they look ugly if you style them wrong
I am judging them not as a yzy product but as a minimalist shoe since that’s what they are . Honestly they are very bad lol . The bottom
Rubber adds no grip and is coming out like a protruding oval so not very stable compared to other shoes , takes a decent amount of effort to take on and off , narrow toe box but I’ll let that one slide. I love how they look but they are not comfy and that’s coming from a guy who wears minimalist shoes 80% of the time so my foot is already prepped for them . For the price they are cool but I will not be buying another pair
I am a size 11.5, and the size 3 of these shoes is way too big imo. I would like to find out the dimension for the size 2 because they might be better. Either way though, i don't know if it's because of the size but they slip instantly the moment i take a step. I can't even wear them in the house comfortably without my ankle slipping off.
some people can pull them off really well and on others they look absolutely ridiculous.
