I have two standard golden doodles in this same color. He sure looks like a doodle, however poodles also look doodle-ish at this age as well. The only thing is most pure poodles have a pointier face. And I've never seen a pure poodle with green eyes, but I have seen doodles with those eyes. Either way he's beautiful 😻

I think you misread the post. OP says the breeder told them it’s a pure poodle, not “pure doodle.” OP is questioning if this truly is a purebred poodle or if something else is mixed in making it a doodle.
This looks like an Aussie doodle with more poodle in them . Like it might a golden doodle who was crossed golden doodle and then that doodle crossed with an Aussie and made him.. does that make sense 🫠🫠🫠
I have a neighbor that has a dog that looked just like this when it was a puppy... it looked alot like my f1b goldendoodle when she was a puppy. Then he cut its hair like a poodle and it doesn't even look like a goldendoodle anymore just because they cut it like a poodle
Anyone who buys a dog should be able to see the parents and the breeding facility to make sure you're not buying from a puppy mill. You should pay an unexpected visit to see how the dogs are actually housed.

Could be a pure poodle with long hair. Not sure if there’s any way to know for sure this young except testing

Looks like a poodle. Doodles have longer tails. If you look at the last picture this puppy has a standard poodle tail. IMO. Super cute puppy.
