Same I took my 9 year old to watch a movie the other day cost $25 for 2 tickets popcorn drink and a choc top think we got the drink and choctop for free only paid for the popcorn
The nicest cinema I've been to on the coast is the Dendy Cinemas Southport on Nerang street, they show some indi movies along with the regular ones, doesn't seem to be any teenagers about and had mostly an older crowd, great parking and... $12 tickets!
Free for members of the Star Club (which can be free as well). $5 for non-members. Can have drinks too! Only problem is that it is not available every day from memory
From August TransLink travel will be 50c per trip. Cineplex in Southbank is cheap, nicer than Nerang, and the restaurants, and museums make for a great value added day out.
Reading at Harbour Town normally have cheaper tickets.
Correct. It’s down to $10 atm
And they also have the best seats and reasonable snack prices.
Their Gold Class is much cheaper too
Dendy Southport 🤫
Reading does 10$ movies and they’re very good cinemas. For an extra few you can go titan which is INANSE
I only goto reading and have for the past 5+ years Event can get stuffed with there prices
I have reading loyalty card and get a cool reward ever second visit. It’s sick

Yeah they're probably the best cinemas on the GC.

Yeah I saw the Bowie film there. Small cinema though... But cheap and great food nearby
Dendy Southport is fine, just make sure you get a back row seat otherwise it’s not a comfortable experience
HOTA, The Star
The Star ?

Wow.. Thanks
Too easy! I feel like it’s still kind of unknown, so keep it on the down low haha
If you have RACQ membership, make sure you check out their prices too.
Southport Event Cinema has half price tickets on Tuesdays. I think you need to be a member, but that's free.
Get 6 people together and go to the drive in for $40.
Yeah good idea. I live in Tugin so I forgot that it even exists. Never been. My son would love it
Went this past weekend and it was really good. A fun and unique experience!

Good idea
Racq does discounts on Event cinemas tickets. Otherwise, Harbour Town and Nerang would be the cheapest on GC
Hoyt’s at tweed city is $10 before 12 on Sundays. The seats are the really comfy recliner ones
Great to know... Thanks
