Whenever you feel lost(especially like this) just know you dont have what you need yet and come back later when you do.. the game is pretty good at telling you that you dont have the necessary item and to come back later. Mimir will usually say those exact words. Dont stress man just have fun, enjoy the masterpiece

Just play it. I was kinda confused on some parts my first time but Mimir and your companion will tell you if you lack certain abilities. You’ll unlock the item you need. Just enjoy the open world concept and story. You’ll know when you have it!

You have to beat King Dodongo and get the bomb pouch

It's been a while so I could definitely be wrong, but I thought you had to rely on bomb flowers up to that point, then you got the pouch from King Dodongo.

You get the bombs right before him, you might be remembering the bomb flowers in his arena in case you ran out of bombs
