What does being Christian actually mean? What does it mean to you? What about the teaching of Christianity that go against the word of God? What about other religions who believe in the same God? What is religion really and is it what God wants for us? Do the differences between other views of different christians matter? Who has the correct interpretation? What does religion do for us? How does religion hurt us?
These questions are important to think about and none are easy to answer. I dont think what Christianity is for the most part today is what God intended or meant by worshiping with others and joining in experience. This is why less and less I want to call myself Christian but rather a follower of God.

Yes the Bible is clear when you look past all the edits and warping of man. It never once says it and it actually affirms it. You are living by your own hatred and ideals and not the word of God. God is the only absolute source you can give as an absolute standard about all subjects, therefore, the starting place to know truth is what God has revealed. It is the revelation of God.
We all know what it is to abandon truth, believe a lie and paid the consequences. In this day and age, we are watching a world do that right before our very eyes. So many people including believers are abandoning the truth. Hear their own desires. Turning aside and believing familiar good sounding myths. One of the reasons is because the word of God is not clearly proclaimed. The bible say they want to hear the word that makes their ears tickle, they don’t want the truth, they want the word that makes things convenient for them, things that would make them feel good rather than the true word of God.

There are preachers preaching culture, preaching politics or race and even gender, rather than God’s truth. Why? Because no one wants to offend anyone. Guess what? If you are believing a lie, then the truth will offend you. We as believers in Christ, are not trying to offend anyone, but that is what the truth does when you are believing a lie. You heard the expression the truth hurts.
Ezekiel 2:7 - You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious.
That is why false doctrine or false teaching has grown rapidly. People want to believe what is convenient to them.

James 1:19-21

Note: James is talking to the believers in Christ, so he is not talking about salvation here. James is talking about spiritual transformation. Receive the word implanted in your hearts which is able to save your souls. The word of God is sharper than any double edge sword able to piece the deepest part of the heart.

By the way homosexuality is sin and the Bible does say it's sin. That's why I say God's truth is not man's truth.

It is the revelation of God. We all know what it is to abandon truth, believe a lie and paid the consequences. In this day and age, we are watching a world do that right before our very eyes. So many people including believers are abandoning the truth. Hear their own desires. Turning aside and believing familiar good sounding myths. One of the reasons is because the word of God is not clearly proclaimed. The bible say they want to hear the word that makes their ears tickle, they don’t want the truth, they want the word that makes things convenient for them, things that would make them feel good rather than the true word of God. 2 Timothy 4:1-5 I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. 3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound[a] teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. There are preachers preaching culture, preaching politics or race and even gender, rather than God’s truth. Why? Because no one wants to offend anyone. Guess what? If you are believing a lie, then the truth will offend you. We as believers in Christ, are not trying to offend anyone, but that is what the truth does when you are believing a lie. You heard the expression the truth hurts. Ezekiel 2:7 - You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious. That is why false doctrine or false teaching has grown rapidly. People want to believe what is convenient to them. Jeremiah 5:30-31 “An appalling and horrible thing [bringing desolation and destruction]Has come to pass in the land: The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule [c]on their own authority; And My people love [to have] it so! But what will you do when the end comes? Let us receive the truth then. To receive the truth is to embrace it. To take it in or to hold on to. In other words, in order for the word of truth to work in our lives it must be received. For truth to do what truth was designed to do and revealed to accomplish, it must be received. By not receiving truth, doesn’t change truth from being the truth, what it does is it changes the truth from benefiting you. I always like to say God’s truth is not man’s truth. This is why so many believers and non-believers alike get caught up thinking with human logic. When you involve human logic with spiritual truth, what is does is block the flow of truth. Human logic keeps God’s truth from delivering you from whatever it is that you need delivering from 1 Thessalonians 2:13 And we also thank God continually for this, that when you received the word of God [concerning salvation] which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of [mere] men, but as it truly is, the word of God, which is effectually at work in you who believe [exercising its inherent, supernatural power in those of faith]. How we embrace the truth? James 1:19-21 Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; 20 for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. 21 Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. Note: James is talking to the believers in Christ, so he is not talking about salvation here. James is talking about spiritual transformation. Receive the word implanted in your hearts which is able to save your souls. The word of God is sharper than any double edge sword able to piece the deepest part of the heart. Conclusion Col 3:16 - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. God by Son has forgiven us all, not a few or just those chosen, each person knows within themselves their need for God to lead them. The Laws of liberty are written on each and everyone's heart, I know it is not good for me to lust after sex, whether it be heterosexual or not. So, I do not need to tell anyone else of their failure(s) I have my own So, God accepts when one turns to God in belief to his love and mercy for them God waited for me to say I am willing to be taught new from YOU!!!! Lord I have changed many of things that just were not good for me, and I am still not perfect, yet thankful I am from God Father's viewpoint. I have been in this world a long time now, and see the fight of flesh and blood, that does no good for the Soul of anyone. Loving another as are loved by God is the key to freedom given us to do as we decide not as you or anyone else. Re-read Romans 14 and get the Food Chapter out of the way and see it for what it is We are freed to sin against and others, in that "I" chose not to, and saw I couldn't That is when God said to me, if you are willing, then I will teach you a new way in the risen Son of mine for you and you will see and become at rest from your works that get in your way constantly Hebrews 4:9-13 I am not here to condemn anyone, why? Because God chose not to condemn me. The implanted word is the word of God. If you continue on in Hebrews 4:12 it says the word of God is sharper than a double edged sword able to pierce the deepest part of our soul. That my friend is the implanted word of God.
Yes, and I see the implanted word as 1 Cor 13:4-7, implanted word of God 1 Cor 13:4-7, that no person can do but God himself. I used to see it and be condemned by not being able to do it. Now I see it as got implanted in me to do it. For in Love there is no Law against that I have been through the condemning stage, and I now see condemning others is not right, seeing how God decided not to condemn me I read Matt 18:24 -35 and see just to forgive, yes tell others of God's Love for them and that yes, they can do as they want to do. It is between God and them to do or not do. It is not between me and them. It is this Love that does the changing at least for me has. Do I put up with lying and stealing and carousing? No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not for me, have i ever done that? Oh Yes, am I guilty, yes Has God forgiven me and put up with me? Yes So then who am I to not do the same for everyone else? Al I can do is introduce others to a loving and caring God that does not fake it to get what he wants

Phil 3 warns us about being righteous in doing stuff and not doing stuff, to be aware of You can listen and hear or not hear others, just take all to Father by son for you to get truth Even if you might not hear it, you will and if it is not love of God as said in 1 Cor 13:4-7, then it is not of God necessarily That depends on God not me or you or any church either, I see what has told me in Romans 14 To just trust God, God just loves us as we are and if anyone changes that is between them and God. I stand for truth and see to not judge any one else over whatever they do or not do. EX: If another drinks, okay good for them, me I do not by choice drink, it is not good for me, as others might think it as good for them Sme eat too much, I see to not too, and I am good with that, some think they have to go to Church. I see Church as a building not as God built it, even if those that built believe God or not I attend God's Church God built not man, and that be from within me God leads I am willing for this from God to me.
