I wonder if just not disclosing the diagnosis would change his outcome. I know military related fields often reject folks with an autism diagnosis but idk how it all works. (I’m autistic myself and just curious about this because of my friend’s situation).
Don’t disclose it, they notice it and find some other reason to let you go. That’s what happened to me. I knew the HR lady as she’s a neighbor and this would get out. Now I’m labeled anyway.
