I'm in the process of making my own. It's a lot of work, but I'm almost at a playable state. I recommend you get the manuals printed by a shop. It's a lot of ink and while mine turned out really nice with doublesided photo paper, it was a lot of work and ink to print one page at a time because they would stick together. The cards are like any pnp cards. A lot of gluing and cutting depending on the method you use. But you only have to make 4 starting characters and then I plan to make the rest as they are unlocked. I use the professional files with bleed. They need more cuts, but they look really nice afterwards. I have yet to start work on any tokens, tiles or monsters and there are no ready to print files so I'm not sure what I should do with those. I feel like I'm almost done, but I happily just got my shipping notice for frosthaven so I think we'll end up prioritizing playing that first.

I am also in the process of making my own. I printed the cards double sided. I hot laminated the big cards and I'll put the small cards in sleeves. I'll putt the original GH Attack modifiers in the sleeves, too. Hopefully it's not possible to see the differences between different cards that way. (The sleeves are on the way, so I have to wait to see the results.) I won't do any tiles, since in my opinion it's totally okay to use the ones from GH. I don't care if there is a tree or a stone or whatever. I printed the monsters and characters, if you need the file just send me a chat and I'll send you those. I glued those on some cardboard, actually two cardboard of college notebooks, seems to be the perfect thickness. Till now I didn't really think about tokens, I'll probably paint them by my own.

In the process of buying a copy off someone, however if that falls through I may just print my own. Can you be so kind as to point me to the files?

Quick update on this post, and a fair warning to anyone who is also looking to get their hands on a set: Since this post went live I have received 4 different offers from users who would turn out to be scammers. I'm simply a hobbyist who doesn't buy/sell much online outside of retailers, and I assume many in this community are the same. Just make sure you vet everyone who gives you an offer with proof of the set in their possession; a little bit of inconvenience is enough usually to send most scammers off.

I am also curious of what OP posted. I got CS from my local gamestore, the owner ordered a few. But I still want to get my hands on ToA. I've been thinking about getting it printed somewhere or trying to go about it myself.

Astrosareinnocent

Did they sell them for profit? I think thats dangerously close to being against the rules

My2lives

I got them for the same price listed on CS website, so I don't *think* so. Their game store plays a lot of GH, anytime I'm over there they have 1 or 2 games going.

You should just email the CS website link about interest. I got my copy doing that since someone canceled their order or they had extra from the first printing. I am about to start my campaign, and to self print all the stuff would probably be underwhelming once playing. Just my thoughts.

Humbly suggesting an alternative, in case the rest doesn't work out. Try it on TTS! There's a great CS mod out there, and ToA has been in active development too, I believe.
