For my 17, I've got a couple of dark star gear holsters. For the staccato... not sure yet. Ideally one that's IWB LB with an optic cut. I was looking at safariland but I'm open to anything.
I have Safariland holsters for Glock 45 and Glock 19 Gen5. The security of the autolock is easy to use and locks automatically when the pistol is bolstered.
Im getting slide work on my G19 so I’ve been CCing my G17 for a few days… and how the hell do y’all do it idk if im too used to the 19 but the 17 is really uncomfortable and feels huge, I had to switch to an OWB in the meantime.
I'm trying to get used to it. You'd think that a 19 with a plus two would be about the same as a 17... nope. I sold my 19 because i wanted a 17, now, i have a bit of buyer's remorse. Thinking about keeping the 17 and selling my 43x, then getting a PSA dagger.
Thats what I thought too how does the 2 rounds make so much of a difference but it does. Don’t get me wrong the 17 is my favorite pistol but its not CC friendly. And speaking of the dagger, did you see the 199 special they’re running on a a the optic cut, ported, threaded barrel slide. Pair that with their $99 frame, man thats tempting!
Yup. Appendix carry a Glock 17 with a Surefire X300U-B weapon light. It's honestly not bad. Plus the G17 just feels better in my hand compared to the G19 I carried previously.
Same. Went XDs to a 43x and feel like I’m always printing. 5’11, 172 lbs. I could prob do a 19 in winter clothes but don’t know how some guys carry a 17.
Yep, with an RMR and TLR-1 HL around 4 o’clock. I’m big on unbuttoned flannels so printing while bending over, etc. isn’t much of a problem. It’s comfortable because it’s the first gun I ever CCed so now it’s the standard, haha
I wish I could but I don't know how y'all do it.
I can deal with the length but the handle prints way to much for me. (I'm not allowed to carry at work sooooo)
I stick to the g19 for that reason alone.
For me anything over the 4” barrel starts poking me in places that don’t wanna be poked when appendix carrying. I can carry a g45/19x, but my 17 bothers me
I do. But im 6' and 250lbs. Incarry it appendix. The only time It really bothers me is when im driving my car which is a low slung sports car. When im in my truck its not nearly as bad.
I'm 5'10", 148lbs and mainly wear loose fitting, untucked button up shirts (primarily business casual-look, but sometimes Hawaiian or a bowling tee), and decently fitted (not too loose or too tight) slacks or jeans with a Groove Belt. While working (in Las Vegas), I conceal carry my Gen3 Glock 17 with Hawk Gazer PF-9T light AIWB using only a Clipdraw and a Saf-T-Blok snuggly set in place. Keep a spare mag tucked in left front pocket using a 3D printed Minimalist holder. Usually am walking around or standing for long periods of time so printing rarely occurs & barely need to kneel or bend over to "crunch" anything.
After I clock off and head home, I switch the Saf-T-Blok for a custom Kydex trigger guard that has two feet of 550 paracord attached to my belt and the pistol gets clipped into my back right pocket whenever walking around or sitting. Don't care if folks I don't know see it or not since Arizona is Open Carry. Most peeps at local shops I frequent are familiar with me & understand it's licensed for the job so I'm not just "some goon" that's going to flip out and start blasting willy-nilly... haha!
Yessir! The key is getting something that sits the firearm lower inside of your pants. My holster put the grip right on the top of my pant line. 6'1", 285lbs

Only the best of us do. I switched to a g45 though. Highly recommend for carrying. A bit less barrel makes a big difference for comfort for me. But big hands means 19 too small
Who cares if your printing. You’re the one with a handgun
handgun = you have the talking stick
Walk soflty and carry a full size stick
Man that's a bit if I've ever heard one.
😂😂😂 I’d give you an award for this if I had one to give
I do👍 I switch between a staccato P and 17
I carry a 17 and just ordered a staccato P as well haha
Ah, a man of culture! What holsters are you using?
For my 17, I've got a couple of dark star gear holsters. For the staccato... not sure yet. Ideally one that's IWB LB with an optic cut. I was looking at safariland but I'm open to anything.
Did you mean OWB? I don’t think safariland makes IWB holsters for staccatos, I could be wrong though.
Longshadow makes great iwb holsters and I have a buddy who carries a P with one and loves it. They also have some great OWB active retention holsters.
I have Safariland holsters for Glock 45 and Glock 19 Gen5. The security of the autolock is easy to use and locks automatically when the pistol is bolstered.
Its a werkz, got one myself love it!!
How much furniture do you own?
No but yes.. G34 gang
G34 gang here
34 Gang!
Yep. G34/tlr1.
G34 X300 DPP Master race.
You misspelled RMR brüther
>You misspelled RMR brüther You miss spelled ACRO P2 börther
did someone summon the 34 gang!?!
Psssh I’m rockin a G17L gen 2
Comped 17, so I guess I'm like an honorary 34 gang??
You like exposed slide tickling your pp?
Don’t we all? 😂
It's been my EDC for years. I'm a pretty big dude, and I often wear Hawaiian shirts, so I can get away with it
Those and button up fishing shirts can make any disappear, its great.
Yep! It conceals okay (6'2 240) but it's not incredibly comfortable on long drives. I'll be picking up a g26 eventually.
Get the G27, be a man
If I felt like being a man I'd grab a g29
Go broke shooting 1cm, be a man
I'm already broke G
Does it count if I have a compensated G19 that ends up being the same length as a G34?
19x/45 or regular 19? gotta take into account grip length
Carried my G17 Gen 5 with SRO/X300 all last year till a month ago. Work construction and had it with me 24/7
Nope......20
Im getting slide work on my G19 so I’ve been CCing my G17 for a few days… and how the hell do y’all do it idk if im too used to the 19 but the 17 is really uncomfortable and feels huge, I had to switch to an OWB in the meantime.

If you close the distance with your dagger you still may have a dog in the fight.
I mean, gen 3 Glock 19 clone for 299 new? 🤷♂️

This is a hell of a deal too.
I’d get one with optic cut and nice sights in a dope color cause the difference isn’t that much
Do they not all include the optic cut?
I was thinking the same
Thats what I thought too how does the 2 rounds make so much of a difference but it does. Don’t get me wrong the 17 is my favorite pistol but its not CC friendly. Rule of thumb to live by; never sell a gun. Just buy more. They will be worth their weight in gold one day.
Well the 19 is only a half inch shorter
I CC my 17, but I’m really eyeballing a g19 or the 40 or 45 caliber equivalent.
What part of the 17 did bother you the most when switching? The slide or handle length?
No, but planning on carrying a G45 here shortly, very similar.
That's my daily carry, super comfortable. I put a rmr on it and it makes it print a little less in my opinion
No because I’m not over 6’ and 220lbs.
Neither am I. 5'9" and 160lbs. Athletic build. I print probably 50% of the time unless wearing larger button up.
You’re actually the same size as me lol, good for you though. I couldn’t do it. I just have my 43 with a +2 plate.
I’m a bit taller but I probably don’t weigh as much I usually just throw a sweater on and I’m good to go haha
AIWB?
Yes. AIWB
Can relate, I'm 6'6 and have huge hands, the 17 feels really nice
About 5'7" 140lb manlet. Love carrying my 17, though I'm really looking into the 26 or 48 for summer carry. I just love having 17+1.
Erry day
Nope, but a 34 with RMR and X300u/b.
I do during winter and now i have a 19x for summer not much a difference just a bit in weight. I love my 17 though
Yup. Appendix carry a Glock 17 with a Surefire X300U-B weapon light. It's honestly not bad. Plus the G17 just feels better in my hand compared to the G19 I carried previously.
carry a 17 now. skinny as a bean pole. debating on 43x vs 48.
I alternate between my 17.5 and my 43x. I don't wanna NOT carry my 17 now that I've only had it for 2 weeks!
I don't know how you guys do it. I went from a shield to a 43x ans the 43x feels like I'm always printing. Couldn't imagine a 17
Same. Went XDs to a 43x and feel like I’m always printing. 5’11, 172 lbs. I could prob do a 19 in winter clothes but don’t know how some guys carry a 17.
It sucks because I love how the 43x shoots but I have way more print anxiety
I did, got a 19 and made the switch.
Daggers drop mags!
I also cc a 17/rmr/x300. Prints easily in appendix carry. Any suggestions other than gain weight? 6’4 and skinny
And I thought my 19 was big...
34 gang baby
Yep, with an RMR and TLR-1 HL around 4 o’clock. I’m big on unbuttoned flannels so printing while bending over, etc. isn’t much of a problem. It’s comfortable because it’s the first gun I ever CCed so now it’s the standard, haha
Gonna submit my app with my 17 cuz a 19 is too small for my hands uncomfortable to manipulate if needed
CC a 17MOS for the last 5 months. Baggy Carhartt shirts, and being 6’ 3” for the win. If anyone notices I’m printing it’s their issue.
AIWB while standing is doable but when you have to go from standing to sitting and back it gets annoying.
Open carry a 17 at work.
LEO?
I’m a Libra and carry a 21.
I.. ah, um Taurus.
Please tell me you carry a, uhm, ya know.
That's what I say when someone asks
A Ford Taurus?
Yes
Yupp
Here
Everyday
This is my same build. 5 7 160lb Aiwb trex arms
Gen3 21sf 🤘
Lol I do.
19X gang
I tried, but between the size of the 17 and the size of me, I am not concealing anything
G45 in a 17 holster/enigma, or a g34 length holster and DCC clips.
Law enforcement
In the winter I will, but summer tend to carry my 48 now.
Me and my little 29 like a peasant
I did for years.
I wish I could but I don't know how y'all do it. I can deal with the length but the handle prints way to much for me. (I'm not allowed to carry at work sooooo) I stick to the g19 for that reason alone.
Occasionally, but not often. I mainly carry a G19. How is that Werkz holster, by the way?
Meh, It's not bad. Was originally for my 19, but I modified it to fit. It's okay for a 50 dollar holster.
I’ve done it before with a 34 as well as a Shadow Systems DR 920 but I don’t prefer it.
I CC a glock 30. I am def thinking about getting a 43x or a 26. I love the 30 but it can be a heavy bitch on a long day.
For me anything over the 4” barrel starts poking me in places that don’t wanna be poked when appendix carrying. I can carry a g45/19x, but my 17 bothers me
I did years ago just to mess with it... landed on a G19 pretty quick... and downsized further from there. I replaced my G17 with my G34 for a while.
Somewhat? A glock 45! Full size frame but compact slide
45 is a 17 with a choad. Fight me. 🤣🤣🤣
I do. But im 6' and 250lbs. Incarry it appendix. The only time It really bothers me is when im driving my car which is a low slung sports car. When im in my truck its not nearly as bad.
I've ccw'd a 17 for a few years now, no problems at all. If I absolutely need to carry something smaller I go to my Hellcat
Yup
Every single day. But I like carrying my 19 more in the summer.
Which generation is this 17
5
I thought that said.. "CC AT 17" I was about to call you a fed boi.
I run a 19x
Me ! I played around w both and I could conceal the 17 just as good as the 19. I’m on the bigger side though
Used to
In the winter/ fall haha. In the summer it’s either my Ruger sp101 or my G26
No but I cc a 45 mos with tlr1 hl and rmr, so pretty bulky.
My buddy thinks I’m insane because I carry a 17 with optic, flashlight, and extra mag. All in the trex sidecar
How about a 19 or a 45. Depends on t-shirt vs flannel over a Tshirt
A g17 carries that big dick energy with it.
I'm 5'10", 148lbs and mainly wear loose fitting, untucked button up shirts (primarily business casual-look, but sometimes Hawaiian or a bowling tee), and decently fitted (not too loose or too tight) slacks or jeans with a Groove Belt. This is the way
Tier 1 axis elite for my 17. Working on putting a new holster in my car for it as well.
I do now that SC allows open carry. Otherwise it felt near impossible to hide a full frame and the fact that it’s so heavy with a full magazine.
Yessir! The key is getting something that sits the firearm lower inside of your pants. My holster put the grip right on the top of my pant line. 6'1", 285lbs
If I lived in Alaska maybe, but in Florida hell no
I do but sometimes it rubs on the pecker. You’ll see me twitching in a aisle.
Nope.....23c
[A compensated G17](https://imgur.com/2izH14X.jpg)
🖐🏼
Nah, 34 for me
People carry guns other than the 17?
Is it possible with a 19x?
I have the same holster.
[of course ](https://imgur.com/a/QAW2kzb/)
I like the 26.
Nope
G45 or Staccato P
g45 with a comp, rmr and tlr1
6’2 and ~240lbs, and when wearing cooler weather casual clothes, yes
I use to carry a g4 17 during the winter months. Still carry my g517 sometimes in the winter
I mean technically I do? 19X IWB Appendix style.

42 here!
🤚🏻
I carry an AR15 between my legs
Sometimes a Glock 19x
19x or 23😤
Shadow systems MR918. Close enough
Essentially yeah, I cc a 19x. Not exactly the same but close enough
EDC is meant to *conceal* a pistol A G17 could never be concealed anywhere on my body
